Quickly Chancol teleported behind one of the vaporeon, slashing at its throat while it was distracted firing hydro pump. Chancol smirked, his look-alike ceased to exist, but instead an abra was in its place. Oh the advantage of being with a ditto!

Shade stopped the Shadow Storm, and shot an Extrasensory down at the Vaporeon, following it up with a Swift. Then Shade used Safeguard, and dove down at the enemy pokemon, using Sky Attack. Damn light pokemon...

Blade felt more powering flowing through him, and then he laughed eviley. "So this what dark feels like! Sweet! I've never had this type of power! Horde! Im with you!" He says befor Running rapidly casting flamethrowers, ice beams, and zap cannonsat all the lightpokemon. All the powers were blackish greyish though. Vince and Max were still faint, but Zane was trying too take out sturdy, and all the amigos were trying too get out. But they dident though. They got cuaght. Tiffey and Spikey dident! They elvolved and were fainting lots of horde people, but then they got cuaght too. Vince then woke up and ran too chancol and used a flamethrower.

(Just a note, I did ask for permission for this next post.)
Whomsoever witnessed the excavation of the Blaze Gem shall emit a powerful aura visible to only yourself. They are your responisbility.
While your mission is to create a perfect world, do not forget to protect those with the key to your own sanity. Farewell.
IV snapped out of it. It was long since he last heard that voice. But there must have been a reason for it, now of all times.
Quick as a wink, he noticed the Vaporeon with the same aura he heard about, it must've been. Darting towards her position, he took the Extrasensory, Swift and Sky Attack, which sent him skidding back against a wall. For the first time in so long, he felt extreme pain, barely able to stand.

Shade smirked happily seeing IV taking all the attacks. And from how he reacted, Shade could tell he'd hurt IV. So, you're not invincible after all, eh Regice? Shade taunted. He began to charge up another attack, and after seconds, unleashed a massive Shadow Blast going right at the Vaporeon IV seemed to be protecting.

Heh. A Shadow Blast, thought IV, once again, quickly bolted to take the attack, this time, not moving an inch.
Wow. That didn't hurt at all.
Retaliating, IV fired off an Ice Beam at the Lugia.

Chancol thought that this was finally enough. He needed to talk to the shadowlord before things got too out of hand. As time slowly progressed Horde began to re-establish their control over the Fortress and actually began to push back. The green charmeleon easily countered the flamethrower with one of its own, looking at his attacker, a blastoise(sp?) sent a hydro-pump in Vince's direction.
The Horde had already come up with a strategy of taking out the many ice pokemon. Counter with fire. Many charizard were able to resist the ice beams due to the fact that they were watching each other's backs, in addition to their advantage in the sky, while on the ground there were very few casualties with the flame-dogs. (Yes, ice is weak against fire...last time I checked)

Shade screeched as the Ice Beam hit him. It froze him on contact, but he broke out near instantly. Go to hell, Regice! Shade shouted, using Swift, then Sky Attack. He'd noticed Special Attacks don't damage it as much as Physical attacks. And he could use that to his advantage.

The Swift bounced off of him, like nothing. Hoping to make the foe take some damage as well, IV surrounded himself in his Icy Wind veil. It probably wouldn't do much, but that's not really what he was hoping for.

Blade ran up the bell tower, and saw the regice. He then jumped on too the lugias back adn on too the regice with a flamethrower, that 2x bigger and was black.

Shade stopped the Sky Attack just before hitting the Icy Wind. He swore. Looking at the Vaporeon from earlier, he smirked. Take this! He shouted, using Sky Attack again.

IV, unable to take another attack, snatched up Hydra before the Sky Attack hit them, and pulled up his Icy Wind again, though more intense this time, almost beckoning his foes to enter the whirl.
(Short, I know, not much to say.)

Shade was hit by the Icy Wind, and froze again. This time, he didn't break out of the ice. He fell to the ground, the block of ice encasing him withstand the impact. Crap, I'm down and out now... He thought.

Chancol and the ditto--who had now morphed into a charizard--ran over to Shade, melting one spot of ice near the lugia's head. It would take some time, but eventually they'd be able to thaw their comrade out. Others saw what happened and were ready to defend against the regice, too bad that most of the forces were clearing out the front line, the Horde were slowly equalizing and over-taking the light forces.

"So much trouble for a group of kids..." muttered an annoyed IV, who was becoming more or less sick of seeing so many Shadow types replacing the fallen, "Listen. The Lugia here's been the only one who could actually do anything to me, and I'm only here to pick up a group of punks. Just move aside now and I won't obliterate you." While most of those who surrounded him looked stern and bold, he couldn't help but notice a few frightened faces.

ooc: just to make sure that we're on the same page, Chancol and his friend were never attacking IV.
Chancol shook his head as he stopped thawing out the lugia and looked up at the regice, "Wait, all you need to do is take a few prisoners and you'll be on your way?" he asked, approaching the legendary pokemon.

"Yes...Recently caught were a Shinx and a Houndour, happened to see them being dragged off. I'm sure I'll be able to call off this little 'attack squad' that has shown up, as well. Their leader is an old contact of mine," IV spoke, wondering why Smooth hadn't motioned for his troops to fall back. It was as if he still thought he had a chance, "Back on topic, just let me through, I know where your dungeon is..."

Others looked at Chancol as if he was crazy, but being able to take out a legendary in the fight would be the best way to turn this fight around. "So we have a deal that if you take your eight, you'll leave this area?" he needed to make sure he had total understanding from the regice. Once that phrase was uttered, Chancol's confused comrades realized what was going on.

Hydra was confused. One minute she was about to be killed by a lugia, the next a regice is protecting her! She found herself in the arms of IV the regice surronded by an Ice wind. "Excuse me sir. I dont mean to be rude but whats going on?" she asked.

"Actually theres 10 of us Mr. Regice." Says Thunder as he was let out. Vince, Soft, Aqua, Zap and Thunder, War, Call, Spikey, Tiffeny, and Zane were the ones Iv needed too pick up. Blade and Sturdy just growled as they walked by.

Shade was tired just sitting around, watching everything happen. And now that his head was out, he knew what to do. Shade began to use Aeroblast, cutting himself out of the ice. After seconds, he was out. Okay, so he just wants to bring away some Pokemon? And weak ones. I think we should let him do it, or at least take him down.

"Ah. Yes. Here you are. Gather close now," IV spoke, ready to use his warping ability. But before he left, he couldn't help but notice a familiar Glaceon nearby. He then glanced at the Vaporeon he was still gripping. "All I need now is the Eevees and their evolved forms...They're all female."

Chancol snorted, "Alright, please leave." The battlefront was almost secure, as others teleported to the back of the light ranks, slowly clearing out their numbers. He gave a respectful nod to the Regice as he walked away. Maybe time would allow everything to work out in the Horde's favor, even without conflict.

The Horde cheered as their enemy retreated with their diminished numbers. Now only if there was a way to resurrect the dead darks and lights on the ground, that thought ran through many minds of the Horde, wondering -if- there was a way to do it. Either way their losses were fewer than the enemy's.
Chancol, barely scratched due to his inactivity in the fight, walked around, looking for the Shadowlord, his reasons were related to what he had told Amira earlier.

Shade could tell that their losses were on many minds. Hm... would that work? Shade wondered. Flying over top some of the fallen, he quickly fired a Shadow Blast, but taking away the damaging portion of it, leaving only shadow energy. Come on, come on! Work! Shade said, hoping the shadow energy would be able to revive the Pokemon.

Sturdy woke up from the shadow energy, fully charged. "I made it!" He says happily while Blade just got more energy and running wild.

The octuplets ran over to IV, except for Sparky who still wanted to fight even though it was over. Flare had to drag her away. "All ready IV," said the Glacion, Freeze. "Now can you tell us why you saved Hydra like that?"

"Just...move close. I don't feel like explaining this in the Fortress," IV sighed, strangely, not in a monotone. A dark feeling overcame him, he snapped upright, and in his usual voice, spoke, "I have found a loophole. I did not say I would not return later." Something inside him felt dread from this comment, but he couldn't control it. The blizzard-like veil surrounded the group of Pokemon. Moments later, they had vanished.
(He brought them back to 'Meditation' if you want to know.)
