"Yes I'll accept you!" Claw said with a smile of joy, "Oh, and from the look on your face... you'll understand one day..." he said with a smile as he felt full of joy from the acception of friendship.

~One day when I'm not too stupid to understand?~ thought Bink. Would he ever really get over that? Maybe not, but at least he had a friend. " Thank you."
~A friend I don't deserve...This is the pokemon I feared like an enemy and treated as such not too long ago,~ came the thought.

"No, thank you! And please quit thinking that..." Claw said reading the odd expression on Bink's face that distracted from the expression of joy that was there as well.

Bink knew he would just have to hide his thoughts more from this pokemon who must be some sort of psychic. He had never known so much could be read from his face alone. " All right. I'll try."

"Good, and why don't we go get some berries for Sello!" Claw said with a smile.

Failure. That was the word that echoed in Bink's little head. Failure. Like he'd failed to get a decent berry for him last time, bringing back instead a rotten lump of an old sitrus. " All right. That sounds like a wonderful idea." Bink smiled.
Failure. He would fail to get a berry.

"Hey Bink! If you make a carrying case, like the PR had in Sinnoh, then you can carry more berries back and forward." Torch had come up with that idea and he felt good.

Claw got to the bush, "Ah... I see why you brought back a brused berry... here..." he knocked a berry down, "Now you have one to carry back." Claw said with a smile.

Bink took up the berry in his arms, barely able to circle it in his meager embrace. " Oh, thank you!" He began to hurry back to Sello with the berry, of course it was so much better than the one he'd procured before, chiefly because he had not found this one.

Torch snapped some branches off some trees. He started cris crossing them every-which-way to try to make a basket. "Well, here is the roughly made basket!"

" It won't hold together unless you use vines," said Bink. " Something to weave them together and hold it all in place."

"Thanks Bink, that was some good advise!" Torch jumped up and grabbed some vines, then started weaving them in.

Bink realised that he had slipped completely and advised Torch as though he were too dumb to know how to make a basket, even though Torch had been the one to come to him with the basket idea. Foolish, foolish Bink. But Bink didn't let the fake smile leave his face. " You're very welcome."

Sello watched. The marshtomp was still in a lot of pain. His leg was probably broken and his head wouldn't stop aching. But if he complained Bink would go back to feeling all horrible. And that was bad. That would make him guilty. So he lay there and awaited the berries.

"Look!" Torch put the basket on Bink's head. "If you are able to balance the basket, then you can carry more berries."

Bink tried hard to balance the basket. It tipped over and fell off his head. He sighd and shook his head. There was no way he could ever do anything fancy like that. " I don't think I can."

"Hmm," Torch windered. "Here. If you can, hold the basket handle in your mouth, then you won't drop as many."

Bink tried to hold the basket in his mouth this time, by its handle. It was big compared to him and he ended up just pushing it along. It was all he could manage. ~Useless...~ he thought to himself, of himself. Useless. Worthless. Bink.

Claw came back and looked a Bink's face, "Didn't I say not to think that way?"

Bink knew that he had hidden his face this time! How could he have seen and known? " I'm so sorry. I apologise." He took the moment of his apology to stop for a rest from pushing the basket full of berries over towards Sello.

"Thank you." Claw said with a smile, "Maybe you could push that basket with a Water Gun..." he suggested to Bink, "It might be easier, as long as you're careful."

"Actually, wouldn't that drop more?" Torch tried to imagine it.

"Well, it might if he's not too careful... but it could be easier than dragging the basket along..." Claw said calmly.

Sello watched through small eyes. He was tired, but he was hungry and the pain was getting bad again. The marshtomp hoped they'd keep moving. He gave a soft grunt and stretched his arms out and then settled down again.

"Wait, if he uses a Water Gun, won't it make he path to Sello muddy, then you can push it easier!" Torch was happy again.

A berry or two tumbled out of the basket as Bink tried to push it further. It was a little bit stuck on a bunch of gravelly rocks near the bank.

torch picked up some of the rocks that seemed to be holding Bink back. "If we work hard enough, we can build a colony down here, with an elaborate food system!"

Bink liked the sound of a simple food system the best. He wasn't sure he'd get the hang of a complex one realyl well. He went over and picked up the berries he had dropped from the basket and resumed pushing.
