A pichu moved by the river drawn by the sound of many voices not knowing what he may find but his curiosity had won he was a fairly young pichu at one year old you could say he didn't know good people from dangerous ones Yik stopped for a moment and scratched the black stripe between his eyes he started to move again he stopped when he saw a blue pikachu strangely he could tell what it was but laughed inside about the color he walked toward them but stopped to pluck a random berry and bite it he made his way again behind the blue pikachu he stopped and bite the berry then Yik said "Hi!"

A young pachirisu named Swirl for the swirl-shaped marking on her forehead, finished shelling an apricorn. She nibbled away on the nut until it was all gone. Full for the moment, Swirl made her way towards the source of all the commotion and talk going on over there in the next grove. The first one she noticed was the other newcomer, the pichu. " Hi-hi!" she said, in a high, wispy cheerful chitter of a voice, which belied her very dark past.

"Hello!!!" greeted Sonic with energy. "I'm Sonic!!!!!" he said happily while bouncing around and his tail twitching quite a bit.

" I Swirl!" said the young pachirisu, her tail twitching as she sat up and watched Sonic bounce around. He certainly looked enthused.

"Hi Sonic im Yik Hello everyone!" He finished the berry and looked at everyone then scratched the black line between his eyes "Why are you blue Sonic?"

" Hi-hi Yik, I Swirl," said the pachi with the blue swirl on her head. Her body was an even lighter blue than the usual for a squirrel pokemon.

Volert wasn't really a people pokemon. "Hello," he said gruffly. "Volert, here." The miniun watched the crowd grow. At least it meant less talking to the psycho.

"Hi Swirl" Yik said to Swirl he looked at her "Why is your name Swirl?"

Volert wondered this himself. It seemed an odd name for a Pokemon...Swirl...he chuckled softly, thinking of some reasons why. None he said, though.

" Oh, I Swirl 'cause-cause when I look-see in water, I see a Swirl on my head!" She pointed with a little white paw towards her forehead, where there was a little blue swirl on the white fur.

"neat i have a stripe" He pointed to the black stripe between his eyes.

Volert chuckled softly. This was pleasant talk. The fewer questions directed at him the better.

Swirl had noticed the stripe. " Oh, you Stripe I Swirl!" She giggled. That was just plain weird. Weird coincidence.

"yea we are" he thought about it wierd oh well

"I'm blue because I was born this way! My great-great-great... ((Not sure how many greats, and I really don't want to do the math! XD)) great grandfather Striker was blue! Somehow we all inheritated the odd color thing! I have a brother that is bright green, a sis that's red, and my mom is purple!!!" Sonic happily explained while he hopped around sent off sparks of electricity from the shear excitement.

;;;; Volert looked at Sonic. "Striker...was he as..umm hyper as you?" He couldn't help but ask.

Yik sat there trying to register anything he said he didnt want to be mean "Oh..." what he didnt relieze is that out of confusion he had started to try again to register what he said.

" Ohhhhh." Swirl cooed in awe. " So-so pretty colours! My family all blue-white-yellow."

[Master Chief]

"Uh.... I don't know..." Sonic said scratching his ear, "I'd have to ask my mom!" he said smiling.

A small dratini pokes her head out of a nearby berry bush, and shakes her head with a sigh. Serena traveled around a bit, but she seemed to like it here, until about the time when hyper pokemon came in.

"Her name is Veira!!" Sonic exclamed happily.

"It was nice while it lasted..." Serena mutters, and leaves the bush, and starts heading in the direction of the exit of the berry grove, which passes her within the line of sight of the other pokemon.

Yik fell on his butt "She sounds great... i dont have a mother..." His visions of there death came back.

Serena hears the discussion, maybe it was because she had lost her family too, or perhaps that she was just tired of running from everyone, she stopped, just a few feet away from them.

Swirl saw the dratini and scampered up the trunk of a nearby tree. Those things were hunters!

Serena glances at Swirl, and shrugs. "Umm, i-i-is s-s-something w-w-wrong?" she stutters, she always stuttered around new pokemon...

" Get-get out!" Swirl plucked two apricorns from the tree, ready to hurl them down at the dratini if she tried to go after Swirl or any of Swirl's new friends.
