Blaze walked up to a tree and used headbut, making berries fall to the ground. "Hope you're hungry!" he said, grinning at his companion, Midnight.

"Believe me, Blaze. I'm STARVING!" Midnight exclaimed as she entered the clearing. She hungrily pick up one of the berries and ate it greedily.

OOC: Please bear with me, I haven't rped in a long time. ^^;; Hope you don't mind if I join!
IC: Flare walked along a dirt path in the Groves. She had become very lonely lately and really want a companion or two. Flare sighed and looked up through the canopy of tree. Sunlight streamed through the leaves of the enormous trees, making the eyes of this unusual Charmander sparkle.
Suddenly, Flare heard a thump not too far away. SHe whipped her head around and saw a tree shaking not that far away. More curious than alarmed, Flare slowly made her way over to the tree and poked her head out. There, she saw a Sneasel and a Charmander.
Noticing that it looked wierd that she just had a head, Flare stepped out from behind the tree.
"Um, hi," she said quietly. "I am Flare."

((Yeah, it's Christy, right? I remeber her from the rp with Dawn and Shadow. ^___^ I think they died or somehting...heh... Oh, and PS, Blaze is a charmander. ^___^ Easy mistake, since I told you he was from a charizard clan. My bad.))
Blaze looked up and smiled. "Hiya," he said, walking over. He glanced at Midnight, telling her it'll be ok. "You hungry?" he asked, holding out a berry.

OOC: Sorry. Fixed it.
IC: At first, Flare was startled.
"You won't ignore me because of how I look?" She said with incredicuously and pointed to her dark purple body. "I've never known any pokemon, another Charmander for that matter, who wasn't afraid to even look at me." Flare smiled. "That makes me happy."
Flare took the berry and popped it in her mouth. It was juicy and sweet.
"Thanks," she said. "What are your names?"

Flare turned to Blaze.
"Well, I've never heard anyone say that to me before, especially where I come from." Flare sighed. "You don't happen to come from the Charizard clan that live by the river around here do you?"

Midnight looked up to see a dark purple charmander. Even though Blaze gave her an 'It's okay look', she was still scare. Without warning she screamed and leaped into a tree.

Before Blaze could answer, he looked at Midnight. A worried look came to his face. "You ok?" he called up a tree. He shot a warning look at Flare. ~I'm sure it's nothing, but...~ he thought. "I do come from a Charizard clan by the river in the Rainforest," he answered. He then walked closer to the tree. "It's alright! There's nothing to be afraid of! I'm here!" he called up to the sneasil, hoping that would get her to come down. He sighed.

Midnight then mouthed to Blaze, 'I'm a ice type remember?' She then hid in a hole in the tree until a pachirisu kicked her out. Without knowing it her claw slashed the branch she was sitting on. As the branch tipped she went flying off the branch and landed into the tree Blaze had hit with headbutt.

Flare looked up toward Midnight. She sighed sadly and walked slowly under the tree that the terrified Sneasel resided in.
"Midnight?" Flare called tentatively. "I won't hurt you. I'm generally as harmless as you can get. Not much of a fighter, you see." Pleading with her eyes, the Charmander continued on. "If you don't mind me asking, why are you afraid?"
It was a genuine question. For all the reasons Flare ever thought up, she always wondered why her clan rejected her. Maybe she really looked ugly, or maybe she was just cast aside because the elders hated her family. She'd never know why her own kind had cast her out, but maybe asking Midnight, a Sneasel, might be different.

Midnight then stampered, "It's just... I am... an ice type. I remember the last time I got hit by flames I fainted and didn't wake up until someone spray oran berry juice on me." She then tried to climb down out of the tree, but the branches were to closely packed together. Maybe I can trust this charmander like I trust Blaze..., she thought.

Blaze smiled at the two. "Everything will be fine? Didn't I tell you I'd protect you, Midnight?" he asked the sneasil. He then turned to the oldly-colored charmander. "If you want to travel with us, I'll protect you too. I won't let anything hurt either of you," he stated.

Flare crossed her arms, indigent.
"I'm not completely useless though. I can take care of myself, you know." She suddenly smiled. "It would make me very happy if you would though, Blaze. I need a break from being on edge all the time."
Flare walked over to Midnight and extended her paw.
"Let's have a good greeting this time. I'm Flare."

Midnight smiled at Blaze and then jumped out of the tree to shake Flare's hand. "I'm Midnight," she replied. "Sorry I was so jumpy at first." She then scratched the back of her head and laughed a little.
Two courious eyes appeared in the bushes behind the group. They scanned the area to see a purple charmander, a regular charmander and a sneasel. That's an odd group, the eyes seemed to say.

Blaze sniffed for a second. ~Call me crazy but...~ He shook his head. "Well, let's get going. We need to explore this area a little more, then head out," he said. He grinned. "Maybe we'll get to the Elemental Stone Caverns," he said, laughing.

Midnight laughed with Blaze. "Your right," she replied after calming down. "We should explore some more." She then grabbed another berry and ate it ravenously.
Suddenly there was a loud crack that came from the bushes, the same place the eyes were. Then there was a low mumbling sound that came from where the eyes were.

"Ok..." she said nervously. "I hope no one's sneaking up on us!"
She took a stick and poked the bushes in front of her.

"If you nkow what's good for you, you'd better come out right now!" Blaze growled. He shot a teeny-tiny little flame at the ground as a warning, and it disappeared in an instant.

Midnight spun around and slashed her claws at the bushes. "Come out or I'll come in there and take care of you myself," she yelled the the bushes.
At first there was a wimper from the bushes. Then there was a small giggle that got louder and louder. Finally, a furry body rolled out of the bushes. It was still laughing. When it calmed down, the fur ball unraveled to show an eevee.

Flare sighed and assumed a look she hoped made her fierce.
"You had a lot of nerve sneaking up on us like that! If we had acted a bit more rash, you might've gotten hurt real bad, you know!" Flare shook her head. "Don't do that again."

Midnight scratched the back of her head and laughed a little. That was so embarassing! she thought. And to think that I thought it was something like an Ursaring! "Hi I'm Midnight," she introduced. "Sorry if I scared you."
"Hi," it said to the group. "Sorry about that. Old habits." She swished her tail around her paws. "My name is Chrissy. What are yours?"

"Nice to meet you," Chrissy replied giving him goggly eyes. She then swished her tail sweetly under his chin. He's kinda cute, she thought.
Midnight steamed up. How dare she go all goggly eyed on Blaze! she thought outragiously. She doesn't even know half of him yet! "Did you see that?" she whispered to Flare.
