Moonseed had worked hard to evolve and didn't think any unevolved pokemon could truly make a fine alpha. It just meant they were too inexperienced to do it. " I see, yes."

Moonseed stalked an ivysaur. They were pretty common in the rainforest, and especially around the berry-rich areas.

Moonseed released a Razor Leaf on the unsuspecting ivysaur and at nearly the same time, so did the four grovyles. The ivysaur was quickly sliced and diced.

Shadow wasn't able to react the way they did, "Uh...." he managed to utter beyond the surpirse of how they pulled that off. They all had perfect timing.

Moonseed wasn't worried that Shadow and apparently Razor hadn't coordinated with them. It would take a couple of hunts for them to get into the swing of things. Soon the ivysaur was good and dead and already sliced up to feed on.
" You'll catch on as you go," said Sungrass to Shadow.

Moonseed noticed Razor's quietness during this time. ~Perhaps he's a bit overwhelmed by being the omega of the pack, at least until a weaker treecko comes along,~ she thought to herself as she cut pieces off the carcass with her sharp claws and teeth and ate messily.

Shadow closed in and began to eat. He ate carefully and quietly. He made a mess, but wasn't as bad as Moonseed.

Moonseed and the male sceptile finished eating, letting the others eat the rest. Now that they were well fed it was time to return to their central territory soon.

Shadow quickly finished up, only because he wasn't that big. He moved over to where Moonseed was standing and was ready to leave.
