Running through the Berry Trees

[Master Chief]

Shadow waited silently as well, waiting for what was coming. He backed into the shadows and hid from sight in order to prepare for the prey to come.

[wynnyelle]

The pokemon over there seemed to have stopped some distance from the pack and were talking. The sceptile creapt closer hoping for a surprise attack.

{attn alca and coralyn!}

[Master Chief]

Shadow slowly followed, creeping through the bushes quietly. He would strike when the others did.

Moonseed was not prepared for what she saw. She saw something way bigger than what she had been expecting, that was a twelve foot tall pokemon right there and not just any pokemon. She was beholding an aruseus, in the company of a small kit.

All her thoughts of attacks were off. ~Is this a sacred place?~ she thought to herself.

Coralyn scrambled back up onto Alcatraz. She finished her berry. These Pokemon didn't look to friendly. Oh well. She'd try to make friends. "Hi?" she said curiously to them.

[Master Chief]

Shadow, startled by the sight of the large Aruseus, fell over. He quickly scrambled to get up, then gawked at Alcatraz in amazement. "Whoa....." he said.

[wynnyelle]

Alcatraz stepped towards where Coralyn had gone and saw the sceptile and her pack. " Coralyn, get back by me." He faced them with a neutral gaze, since they had not done anything wrong yet and might be hiding out of fear of him rather than any intention to hurt Coralyn .

Moonseed did not know what to do, other than go along with his question. " I am Moonseed and this is my pack. We're just looking for food, not that we would have any interest in...your kit."

" That's good," said Alcatraz. " Nor do I have any intention of hurting your forest."

[fya]

Coralyn scrambled back onto Alcatraz's back. "We were just having berries," she said. "You have good berries here."

[wynnyelle]

" Yes...the berries are good here," said Moonseed. After all, it was not a lie. She just didn't mention that she and her pack did not usually come here for the berries.

Alcatraz figured they would be no trouble. " It was good meeting you. Coralyn, let's head back to the others, maybe Sassano's returned. "

[fya]

"Yeah," said Coralyn. She smiled at the sceptile. "Bye!" She didn't realize that they were predators.

[Master Chief]

"Uh.... bye...... " Shadow said halfway thrown off by the whole situtation. He got ahold of himself and watched as the pokemon left.

[wynnyelle]

Alcatraz teleported himself and Coralyn back to the place next to his alcove. He did not want to take the chance that any of the pack would attempt to follow him back, although he would have enjoyed the stroll. It was just not worth the chance.

{Continued by Alcatraz and Coralyn at Alca's alcove}

" We should leave this immediate area," said Moonseed to the pack. " If we make a killing here Aruseus may return for vengeance that we spilled blood on his land."

[Master Chief]

"Alright... I just can't believe one of them even live near here..." Shadow said calmly.

[wynnyelle]

" Nor can I but we must tread carefully," said Moonseed. " For all we know he might not live near here at all, just make an appearance here."

[Master Chief]

"Yeah, who knows... considering he just Teleported away...." Shadow said calmly.

[wynnyelle]

" Right." The idea of attacking him didn't even occur to her. Moonseed sighed. " The first thing we must do is claim a permanent territory. Somewhere in these berry-rich areas seems like a good place to start."

[Master Chief]

"Yes... I think there's a area near by that is thick with berry bushes and trees.... I passed through it before meeting up with your pack..." Shadow said.

[wynnyelle]

" The berry hollow," said Moonseed. " Yes...I think that would be an ideal place for us to claim." She started ovr in that direction. So did the four grovyles who made up her pack. The general rule was that only the alpha pair in the pack were allowed to be sceptiles. As soon as a grovyle evolved, it had to either challenge the alphas and win, or leave.

[Master Chief]

Shadow followed in behind the Grovyles, "What are your names?" he asked curiously.

[wynnyelle]

" I'm Shing," said one grovyle, a lightly and brightly coloured green one, on the small and slight side.

" Scuff," said another one, this one a scruffy looking one with dull grey-green colours. He was a little bigger than Shing.

" Trimleaf," said the third, a darker grey-green one who was the smallest of the four.

{The fourth I'll leave open to you or anyone, it can be an NPC.}

[Master Chief]

{Could I have a Grovyle?}

"Nice to meet all of you..." Shadow said, wondering about the last one of the four who hadn't spoken yet.

[wynnyelle]

{Yeah, just remember it's an NPC and usable by others too}.

" Thanks," said Shing, the most outspoken of them. He was Moonseed's son and proud of it. It made him think of himself as a sort of little prince.

[Master Chief]

{Okay, cool.}

"I'm... Shanoku..." the other Grovyle said calmly, he was of a normal size and color. He looked tough though, even for the way he seems to hide from others.

"Nice to meet you..." Shadow said still eyeing Shanoku even though Shanoku seemed to be the most average of the four.

[wynnyelle]

{I'll make a board for this pack, it can be a sort of treecko and evo's only board and the first claimed board of the game!}

" Right, then, let's go." Moonseed moved her pack off towards the berry hollow.

[Master Chief]

Shadow quietly followed the group as they moved towards Berry Hollow.
