A Bulbasaur sets off

The treeko watched. He'd think of some way to lure the bulbasaur closer to the Fortress.

"RUN! FAST!" A furret raced across the forest floor in a dead panic. She was headed straight towards that bulbasaur! "Move!" she yelled as she barreled towards Chip. Behind her a rentoraa raced after her, sparking madly.

[glow=red,2,300]Chip stumbled out of the way as the furret and rentoraa raced by. The bulbasaur snorted and ran after the other pokemon, he might be able to help.[/glow]

The furret slipped into some thick undergrowth. It stank of death here and she wrinkled her nose and hoped the rentoraa wouldn't smell her. It prowled around, glaring at Chip. It wouldn't attack a grass--it was an electric. The pred snorted angerly and slipped away. It could see the furret in the thick undergrowth with its xray vison, but it would be pointless pursuing the furret. He prowled away angerly.

After about ten minuted the furret slipped out of the bushes. "Oh god. Thank the pokegods you were there. He would have gone after me if it weren't for you." She paused. "I owe you my life. I'm Ritta, who are you?"

[glow=red,2,300]Chip blinked and was a little flattered and embarressed. "I'm Chip" he said with a blush, "It was nothing, but...why was he chasing you?" said the bulbasaur.[/glow]

"Because obviously he thought I'd make good prey." Ritta rolled her eyes. "And hey, he's bigger than me so I guess why not? Ya know, Chip?" She was a small furret. She wrapped her tail around her body and smiled.

[glow=red,2,300]"Nice to meet you Ritta, I'm glad he left though, I'm not that strong" said Chip smiling back, "So do you live around here?"[/glow]

[fya]

"Yeah kinda," the furret said. "I move around though..especially when assholes like that start thinking I'm prey." Ritta shook her head. She wasn't prey, but obviously that rentoraa had thought she'd looked like a tasty meal.

[glow=red,2,300]"Maybe we should get out of here, do you know anywhere safer we could go?" asked Chip. "We could stick together" he added with a smile.[/glow]

[fya]

"Yeah...we should get outta here," said Ritta. "And sure. May as well stick together..with preds that think I'm prey on the loose." She snorted. She really couldn't get over the fact that she'd been hunted. It made her feel sick. "Places? I dunno..everywhere except like the Fortress is mildly safe, ya know?"

[steve]

[glow=red,2,300]"Fortress?" asked Chip curiously, he had never heard of it before or seen it.[/glow]

[fya]

"The Fortress...ya know where the shadow Pokemon live. They call themselves the Horde," explained Ritta.

[steve]

[glow=red,2,300]"Yeah, if you have any ideas of where to go count me in. I really don't know much about this area" said Chip. The bulbasaur glanced over his shoulder, he had no past to return too with out great effort and his future seemed unsure.[/glow]

[fya]

"Eh I don't really care where we go," said Ritta. "We could stay here..or we could move. I like it fine here, but if this place gives ya the chills, than we should move."

[steve]

[glow=red,2,300]"Let's move" said Chip with a shudder, he turned and head quickly through the woods, but kept pace so Ritta could keep up.[/glow]

[fya]

"Ok," said Ritta with a nod and a smile. The furret began to move steadily on with Chip.

[glow=red,2,300]OOC: Hmm, I'll try and think of something.

Chip just hurried through the woods, the bulbasaur was eager to leave this horrid place behind.[/glow]

"What happened to you?" asked Ritta. She easily matched his pace but wondered what had happened. "Family murdered?"

[glow=red,2,300]"No, I left them to set off on my own...My friend Sor was killed by a black treeco. I don't want to stay here anymore" said Chip keeping up his pace to hold back the tears.[/glow]

[fya]

"Ah," said Ritta. "Sorry to hear. Black you say? Probably from the Horde." The furret bristled. "Damn Horde. Coming out of their way to merely murder. It didn't take your friend, right?"

[steve]

[glow=red,2,300]"It took him and carried him away after I chased him...he just threw Sor into the ground and killed him" Chip came to a stop, he was breathing a heavy, "I don't even know why he did it, there was no reason. It...it...it didn't make sense" said Chip as he started to get choked up again.[/glow]

"Oh sorry hun, I shouldn't make you talk about it," said Ritta, slowing down and placing a reassuring paw on Chip's closest shouldar ~Definetly from the Horde,~ she thought.

[glow=red,2,300]The bulbasaur looked at her and smiled slightly when she touched his shoulder. "What...what is...the Horde?" asked Chip as he sniffed.[/glow]

[fya]

"The Horde? They a bunch a shadow Pokemon. Evil creatures. No one you wanna mess with, hun," said Ritta. That was the best summary of the Horde, really.

[glow=red,2,300]Chip began to smolder a bit "Maybe not now, but one day when I'm stronger I'll make them pay"[/glow]

Ritta had to shrug. "ehh a lotta Pokes' say that. But who knows..ya might have a chance. Eryone desearves a chance at least."

"Yeah...Rita, would you know of any others who would want to get at the Horde?" asked the olive green bulbasaur.[/glow]

ooc: lol maybe because you arent playing an aerodactile? or a pokemon that was friends with an aero? xD

ic: "Ehh they're all over. Just talk to a group of Pokemon and they're probably against the Horde. Everyone is. But no, I don't no anyone -set- on getting back at them right now," said Ritta.

[glow=red,2,300]ooc: LOL! I just got owned, though its not true and its spelled Aerodactyl with "yl" not Aerodactile with "ile"

Chip thought about it for a second, "Well, why not? If so many people hate them"[/glow]
