Midnight nodded and smiled back. She then tried her best to be as quiet as possible. Once outside the den, she side stepped to the right to let Blaze pass. Then she took one step foward, and the ground slipped out from under her feet. For a second or two she was running on air, then she fell to the bottom of the trap.

"Midnight!" Blaze exclaimed. He looked down. "Are you alright!?" he called, looking around for more.

"I'm just fine!" Midnight called up to Blaze. "Can you find out a way to get me out of here? Or find a flying bird or something to lift me out?" She then observed the walls. They were smooth only a few foot holes were visiable, and they didn't look too supportive.

Blaze looked around. "Anybody there! HELLOOOOO!" he called. "Somebody help!" he shouted. He turned back to look at Midnight. "I'll get you out, I promise!" he told her and ran off.

"Alright! I can wait!" Midnight called back. She then slumped down against the wall of the hole and thought.

Blaze was back after a while with a Bayleaf. "Down there," he said. "Ok," the Bayleaf said happily and let a vine whip down. "Grab on to this!" she called.

"Er... Okay," Midnight called uneasily. "Sorry if this hurts!" She then grabbed onto the Bayleaf's vine with her claws.

The Bayleaf simply smiled and pulled her up. "That was close!" she said laughing happily. "Are you ok?" Blaze asked, searching Midnight for scratches or bleeding or both.

"I'm fine Blaze," Midnight chuckled as she gave him a friendly punch on the shoulder. "Thanks Bayleaf!" She then waved to the Bayleaf. "Where to next Blaze?" she asked her firey friend.

"Hmm...let's see..." he said, putting his finger-or-something on his chin. ((Like Pooh Bear! ^___^) "Where do you want to go?" he asked her finally, after many minutes of just thinking.

Midnight mimiced Blaze's pose and thought. After a minute of thinking, Midnight clapped her paws. "I know!" she exclaimed. "We should head to the Berrytree groves and after that to the wide open plains! What do you think?"
