Blaze let out a long and loud yawn. "Now I'm hungry..." he grumbled to himself, trying hard to do it so his companion wouldn't hear him. He looked at the river. "It's not too bad..." he told her.

Midnight nodded. "Not too bad at all," agreeing glancing around for a place to rest. "You see any place to rest?" she asked her companion.

Blaze shook his head, eying the area one more time. "We could sleep in shifts, but then we wouldn't get rested enough. I say we find a safe place to rest for now," he said.

Midnight murmured in agreement. Only a few minutes after looking around the area she found a bramble cave that had a stale scent of another pokemon, and the hole was only big enough for a medium sized pokemon such as a sneasel or a charmander. "Hey I think I found someplace we can stay!" she called to Blaze, beckoning him with her left ear.

A Vaporeon jumped out of water, running infront of the cave. He growls, protecting his terratory. A Flareon runs out of the cave and stands next to vaporeon, snarling. "Go away!" The vaporeon warns.

Midnight jumped backwards and bumped into Blaze. "Sorry," she mumbled to Blaze. "We're just looking for a place to rest," she said calmly turning to the two fox-like pokemon. "Sorry if we bothered you, its just we have been walking all day and we are looking for some where safe to rest." Midnight then went onto her tippy toes to see the cave. "Could my friend and I sleep with you tonight?"

The vaporeon whispers to teh flareon, "Check them Burn." Burn Uses a light fire attack taht doesnt hurt, but checks the pokemons history and things liek taht. "There good Splash." Burn says. "Fine" The vaporeon says to the pair of pokemon.

"Thank you so much. Is there something we can do for you? WE can't just stay for free," Blaze said. He smiled at Midnight. "I'll do anything for you to pay off for our rent," he added, grinning and turning back to the two in front of him.

Midnight stiffened completely when the flareon used fire. She smiled back at Blaze but didn't move an inch towards the cave. "You won't do that again. Will you?" she asked the flareon.

Midnight stood her ground and only moved an inch. Beckoning to Blaze she whispered, "I'm an ice/dark type. I'm petrified of fire! Exspecially when it is used on me."

Splash lays in a hay pile, with a few otehrs set up around teh cave. Blaze lays on one in the shadowy corner.

Cautiously, Midnight explored the den. Finally she settled down in a cold mossy spot in a dark corner. Before she knew it she was fast asleep.

Midnight stood up, yawned and stretched her hot, stiff limbs. I thought that I went to sleep in a dark, cold corner, she thought. Strange... Very quietly she got up and out of the stuffy den to catch some food. Since this was such a foggy morning her catch was easy. Midnight was able to catch 4 rattatas, two for her and two for Blaze. She then headed quickly back to the den, and settled down in a damp spot to eat.
