Under the Moon...

[Aryian Moon]

Silence. Only the sound of water rushing over the cliff to the depths below could be heard. The night was quite peaceful, Aryian Moon sat atop of the waterfall with his front paws perched on the ledge. His black fur glistening in the moonlight after his midnight dip.

Alone... it never changes.[/color] Thought Aryian as the sound of a hootowl echoed in his mind.

As it swooped down and just inches above the Black Absol, Aryian reacted swiftly and with a graceful swipe of his right front paw the owl was fatally wounded. A feeling of pride swelled up in the Absol's heart as he watched the hootowl plummet to its doom several hundred feet below them, where it impacted the earth only a small red stain remained.

Stretching his muscles, Aryian Moon rose to his feet and now stood on all fours. Arching his back and lowering his head to the ground, the Absol allowed his spine to crack releasing some built up pressure from the earlier affairs. It was time to eat...[/size]

[Ren]

Melina was playing in a small, shallow pool. "Wanna swim?" she asked her partner, Kyou. "No," he said, looking around. "You're no fun," the little pichu said. Kyou stood up. "Something's here," he muttered. Melina got out. "What's wrong?" she asked. "I'm not sure, but it's dangerous. We should find somewhere safe for the night," he said.

[Aryian Moon]

Excitement. Aryian Moon stomped around at the top of the waterfall, allowing the spray from the puddles to splash against his underbelly. A smile spread across his face as he did this, the black Absol had always been easily amused. As he played his ever-watchful eye caught the sight of a Magikarp heading towards the edge, with a flick of its tail it leapt into the sky and over the waterfall. Aryian followed…

Bounding into the sky, the Absol reached out with his front paws taking hold of the helpless Magikarp. Feeling the urge to end it’s existence the sadistic creature lashed out with his gaping mouth, plunging its fangs deep into it’s flesh. Ripping it to shreds, even though there was little meat it would suffice for now. Aryian had done all of this as he plunged to the depths below, as he impacted the water he curled his body to absorb the force. With powerful strokes the canine found his way to the surface and peeled his way out onto the bank.

“Well… that was fun.[/color][/I]” Aryian said jokingly as he collapsed and began to rest.[/size]

[Ren]

"Lovely," Kyou said as he watched the scene, thankful that his companion was asleep. She would've been terrified. "I've never seen an absol like that before," he muttered. Being an absol himself, he was curious.

[Aryian Moon]

Alertness. Time for resting was over… something had caught the Black Absol’s attention. The creatures were far from here, thankfully Aryian was down wind of the other pokemon and thanks to his keen scent he picked them up first. Or so he thought…

I’ll get them… Aryian thought as he hunkered down to the ground and crept slowly across the sand beneath him, his paws digging vigorously into the granules with each powerful stride.

Once within range the Moon Absol manipulated his muscles to suit the need and sprang forth with a Quick Attack; but just as he was about to strike the white beast he realized something. This pokemon wasn’t much different than him… just strangely colored, not the traditional black.

“ HEY YOU![/color] ” Shouted Aryian, starting the little Torchic and causing the Absol to jerk it’s head in shock. “ What are you?[/color] ” Barked the Black Absol in a demanding tone.[/size]

[Ren]

Kyou stood up, standing over Melina protectively. "I'm an absol, last time I checked," he said. He eyed Aryian. "And what the heck are you? You're different than others," he said. The little pichu woke up. She smiled at Aryian. "Hiya," she said happily, waving. Kyou stared down at her like this T__T. "You're an idiot sometimes, you know that?" he told her. The baby pokemon ignored him. "What's your name?" she asked Aryian.

[Aryian Moon]

Aryian Moon stood motionless for a moment, the Black Absol allowed his powerful body to be seen. His size was larger than the white Absol, as was the cause of his unique bloodline. Tilting his head slightly after hearing both of the creatures speak, Aryian waited to respond...

What should I do... should I try and attack. So I can eat them? Or should I try a different approach and try to befriend someone for once in my life.[/color] Thought the Moon Absol.

Then Aryian responded... " My name is Aryian Moon... of the Proud Absol's. Which are black... so why are you white? And there is no need for you to call her an idiot[/color] " Aryian voiced.[/size]

[Ren]

Melina smiled. "I like that name. I'm Melina, and this is Kyou," she said happily. Kyou cocked his head. "I see. You're of a special blood line. I'm a normal absol. I look like all the others," he said. Melina grabbed a berry from a pile she made and walked over to Aryian. "Are you hungry?" she asked, holding out the berry. She was asleep through his hunt.

[Aryian Moon]

Aryian looked around observing his surroundings, the Torchic had introduced herself as Melina and then the white Absol as Kyou. Who then proceeded to claim that he looked like any other Absol, this stuck Aryian as ackward seeing as how this was the only white Absol he had ever seen.

" So... I'm different than all of the others you say? Strange... and no I'm not hungry, I had a snack...[/color] " Aryian finished with a smirk as he glanced towards the corpse of the fish that had been ripped to shreds.[/size]

[Ren]

"Ok," Melina said with a smile. She placed the berry down. "Kyou won't eat berrys. Can you believe it?" she asked. "I eat different things than you do," Kyou told her.

[Aryian Moon]

Aryian smiled at the other Absol's comment, he immeditately wanted to say something but he restrained himself... but only for a time.

" Yeah... he's probably alot like me. Savage and cruel... one who likes to eat meat more than anything else and not only eat it... DEVOUR IT[/color] "Aryian said with a menacing tone, shortly after finishing he erupted into a loud roar.

Then he lowered his head and looked upon the two with a grin on his face.

[Ren]

Melina blinked for a second. She turned to Kyou. A big smile came to her face. "Nuh-uh. Kyou wouldn't hurt anything," she said happily. "Not in front of you..." he muttered so she couldn't hear.

[Aryian Moon]

Aryian smiled at the interaction between the two pokemon, the denial in the face of the Torchic and the blank lie that came from the lips of Kyou. The Black Absol merely flicked his head once and stepped forward once...

"Do you want to see what we Absol's are capable of?... Do you wanna see what your buddy does while your away and sleeping?[/color]"

[Ren]

Kyou stared at Aryian. "I guard her. That's all there is to it. I protect her with my life," he said, standing up. The little pichu just stared up at Aryian. "What happens when I'm asleep?" she asked. "Absolutely nothing!" Kyou growled. "But he said..." she started. "Nothing!" Kyou finished.

[Aryian Moon]

Aryian Moon just stood there... Kyou the white Absol obviously getting aggrivated by what the stranger had caused a question in their trust. Aryian crept closer and closer, baring his teeth the dark Pokemon looked upon the Torchic with hungry eyes.

I have no intentions of hurting her... I just want her to see what Kyou is really like.[/color] Thought Aryian as he stopped just three feet away from the two.

Within a matter of seconds Aryian questioned once more...

"If it is nothing... then why do you get so angry upon it's mentioning?[/color]"[/size]

[Ren]

"She's just a child. She doesn't need to get into afairs of those older than her. Let her enjoy childhood before it's stolen away from her," Kyou told Aryian. Melina didn't hear. She had climbed up a tree and was eating a berry.
