Hydra blushed, the only colour on her body that want blue or white. "...Thank you..." she said.

"Oh, um, you're quite welcome, Hydra." He rubbed the back of his head, it itched slightly. He then said with a laugh, "So, are you coming in?"

"If you dont mind..." she said. Then she walked towards the water almost shakily. She dipped a paw in the water before leaping in an arc into it making no splash.

"Nah. I don't mind at all," spoke Dex, enjoying the company. He put the reed back in his mouth and looked at the fish swimming below him. He could see something glittering, however...it seemed to beckon him. What was that thing?

Hydra appeared above the water again. "Whats up Dex?" she asked, her voice echoing with a hint of concern.

Dex pulled his face from the water.
"There's...something down there." He says, in a low tone. He then dove under, quickly grabbing the small glittering object. Surfacing, he wondered what it was. It looked like a flame...But it wasn't a fire stone, those were orange. He held it up, "Any idea what it is?"

"No... sorry. Flare might know. Shes a Flareon and that looks like a fire item. But if it is fire then whats it doing in water?" she said, swimming towards it.

"No idea, really. But not all items are going to be magically in a place that suits their appearance. I once saw a Dawn Stone in the graveyard..." Dex says.

"Hmmm..." was her only reply.

"In any case, this isn't a fire stone," notes Dex, "Does feel a little warm, though..."

Hydra wrinkled her eyebrows. "It could be a fossilised baby slugma. A de-celuorised flame."

"I doubt a Slugma would come this far from the Volcano. They need the heat to survive," Dex looked at the stone again, "Even then, I don't think it would even be lukewarm, since it would have died."

"True. And ignore the second one its not possible. You would need advanced technology for that that nothing round here has."

"Technology? You mean Porygon? I saw a few of those a while back.." Dex states, out of context.

"... still it would take more than a few porygons to freeze a flame and yet keep it hot..." she said.

"...That reminds me! There's this Porygon2 I have to see about a delivery..." Dex exclaims, scurrying out of the pool.

"I said you could. You might be bored out of your mind, though," Dex replied, "Porygon aren't the most...interesting guys around."

"I love smart creatures! They can teach us so much about the world we dont understand! Talking to a porygon would be fascinating!!!" said Hydra.
(Shes a right Bof!)

Melina cocked her head. "Porygon? What's that?" she asked herself. She didn't follow Dex and Hydra, though. That would be rude. She just sat by the water, staring at her reflection. Her tail twitched, showing that she was curious about where the two were going and what the heck a Porygon was. "I shouldn't follow...I shouldn't..." she kept telling herself. Eventually, her curiosity got the best of her and she ran after the two, trying not to be seen.

Hydra ran back to the pool. Dex should be around here. The meeting with the porygon should be over by now. "Dex? Dex?!" she shouted. She turned to IV. "He's a bit shy." She scanned the area looking for hin. "Dex someone wants to meet you!"

IV saw something glittering underneath the surface. From the spot was a reed. Slowly but surely, the glitter moved towards the shoreline. A small splash and the tiny Pichu reared its head from the water. He waved, "Oh, hello there, Hydra! I was wondering where you went.." Then, looking towards IV, he froze over in fear. He had heard about a Regice commiting a massive homocide and even obliterating an army. Thinking this was the same one, he didn't say anything. Or even blink. IV just stared in uncertainty. He indeed have the aura of one who found the Flame Gem.
"So, your name is Hydra...Do you mind explaining that I'm not his enemy? I don't think he'd trust me that well," whispered IV.

"Dex its fine he wont hurt you!" she said. She turned to IV. "I need to speak to him." Hydra dived underwater, making no splash. As she was underwater, Hydra looked around for Dex. She spotte him not too far of and swam over. "Dex whats up?"

"...R-Regice..." was all poor Dex could mutter. He was shaking so hard that the droplets of water splattered in each direction.
"Again, my name's IV. Please, I need your help. That gem you came across that looked like a flame?" IV asked.
"Yeah...I gave it to Hydra. Wait, how did you find out about that?!" Dex asked, somewhat menacingly.
"...I can see...an aura. Eminating from those that had found the gem," IV spoke, mysteriously, "You are one of them, and I need you to come with me."
"Why should I trust you?!"

"Good question," said Hydra, thinking it through. "Whats so important about this gem? And why should we trust you?"

"It is a long tale. One you would probably not be able to understand. Spans hundreds of years it does," IV spoke, "But I'm sure if you witnessed me 'rescue' those Pokemon from the Horde, you'd have no reason not to trust me."
"...Hydra, what in the world is he talkng about?"
