The calm water seemed unusually still today, even with the waterfall nearby. The cascading liquid formed a pleasant spray, which is where Dex was lying down. The summer sun slowly warming his fur. When he decided enough was enough, he grabbed his reed and placed it in his mouth, the long tube-like object curving around behind his ear. He ran towards the pool and jumped in, stirring the water as his petite body embraced the surface. Once the water stilled, all you could see was the little reed sticking out of the pool.

Water, alone as always, started to walking alone the road. He notice that there was a waterfall. It was really beautiful. He started to run and was about to jump into the pool. But he saw someone in it already. He slowly stare. He was pretty nervous but he managed to say "Hello?.."

Dex quickly popped his head out of the water, barely making a splash. He waved, and said in a polite tone, "Hello, over there! Care to join me?"

"Sure!" Water quietly said. He gave out a weak smile to Dex. He jump into the pool. It was a nice feeling that Water thought he would never experienced again. He let his body floated relaxing his needed body. This sure feel mighty nice...

Rocked by the force of the turtle jumping into the pool, poor Dex sank slightly below the surface, and was bumped by a passing Magikarp. Regaining his mobility, he made his way back to the surface, coughing once. He put out his paw to shake, "The name's Dex, how about you?"

Water wasn't much of a speaker, but that doesn't make him a muted. His eyes were closed so he could only feel and hear the comfortable feeling of the water. He opened his eye and in a mild tone he said "I call myself Water.."
He slowly closed his eyes again. Letting his body go as the water slowly move his body of to nowhere.

Dex lowered his hand in dissapointment. He realized that this wasn't one of the more social types. He opened his mouth to say something, but realized it would be rude to meddle in someone's bussiness, so he let it go. Unknowing of what to say next, he buried his face in the water again, reed in his mouth.

The little squirtle fell asleep..
He found himself all alone with nobody around him. Water just stood there all by himself. Everyone was leaving him. All alone, everybody was gone. All alone, he found himself in darkness. All alone, lost in the empty void. All alone...
Water woke up forgetting that he was in the water and started splashing like a manic. His eyes open.. He was still on his back, floating on the pool. It was all a dream..
He turns to Dex. "Sorry it happens sometime." he gave a weak reply.

"Oh, don't worry about it! Don't blame you, such a nice day to just relax a while." replied Dex. Getting his focus back on his swimming, he dove down under the surface a couple of feet. He jealously eyed a group of Magikarp, wondering why he couldn't stay underwater for more than a few minutes. It was strange, Magikarp were one of the weakest creatures he had ever seen, yet they possesed something he desperately wanted. If only there were a way, he thought, to stay down in the water forever. His thoughts were abruptly cut short by the lack of air. Clumsily, he found himself racing his emptying lungs to the surface of the water. As soon as he could feel his head above the water, he gasped for breath. A nervous smile came over his face, as he looked at Water (the Squirtle), hoping he hadn't made himself look overly foolish..

Hydra, one of the famous Eevee Octuplets, was walking along the edge of the river. She too longed to be in the water, however didnt want to evolve yet as she would never be able to be eevee again. She spotted the pokemon in the water. "May I join you?" she said.

She lept in happily yet made barely a splash. She swam about happily, as skillful as a fish. "I'm Hydra whats your name?" she asked.

Dex looked over to the Eevee. He could now notice a blue tinge in her fur. It looked good on an Eevee. Dex then said, "My name is Dex, how about yours?" He was trying to make himself sound more mature, but his voice squeaked near the end of his sentence. He quickly turned around, feeling silly.
(Gets embarassed a lot, eh..?)

"...You know what? I forgot I can't go. There's someone I'm supposed to meet up with, later," Dex bowed his head in dissapointment, "I'm sure there's someone you're traveling with though, right?" He forgot that he never actually knew if Hydra was going there or not.

Romeo the totodile ran head first into the pool. He was very hyper today, as everyday, for no apparent reason. He splashed a few times, then looked at the pokémon he realised were watching.

Dex perked up a bit and twisted around to face the edge of the pool. He noticed the blue fox looking at him. 'Wow,' he thought, 'she looks great. Is that Hydra?'
"Hi! By chance, are you Hydra from before?"
