I'm sure most of you have heard of Jespeon's Island in Danger. We have concluded that there be a connection between the two. Please read as it contains clues as to many mysteries of Erymire.
As the twenty-first century rears its head, human society grows more and more advanced. Humans have mapped out the entire planet and are now extending to the outer regions of space. Or, at least they think they have. Hidden in an unexplored area of sea, rests an island completely untouched by humans. The island is temperate, featuring many different climates for many different Pokemon.
Centuries pass. Eventually, a war sparks. Due to massive increase in technology over the long years, the human race now has enough weaponry to render a continent completely uninhabitable in a matter of days. Within one week, but a fraction of life still remains. That fraction inhabits the one undiscovered island, which has changed drastically, and has now come to be called Erymire.
So, yes. Erymire rests in the distant future.
