Pokemon Kingdoms takes place in a world ruled by pokemon. Humans do not exist here, and as a result the inhabiting pokemon have developed their own cultures independent of humans, with the one-of-a-kind legendary pokemon serving as the gods that they worship.
Taking place upon a super continent twice the size of any region, collectively known as Reruses, five separate pokemon kingdoms, each with their own unique culture and religion, war with one another over politics and power. The desert-dwelling Khentu, their eastern neighbors the spiritual forest order Sago, the Arcus of the southern islands, the dark and mysterious Dimenia of the northern reaches and the nature-worshiping tribe Nalpos of the west.
Currently the kingdoms are at an uneasy peace for the first time in centuries. Although it seems fated not to last...
