Description:
Mercury is a new hybrid called a Quilpix, which mean she's a Vulpix and a Quilava combined. There is no known evolution, though.
Mercury has a cranium full of curly, dark brown hair (Unlike in the visual reference). Her pelt is the color of a light brown. On her six tails there are crescent shaped markings on each side that are the shade of a ruddy orange. A ruddy orange strip circles from the bridge of her nose and reaches back to curve around the middle of her back and then reach back to her nose. These ruddy orange markings become flowing magma when Mercury feels certain emotions, such as embarrassment, love, or excitement.
On her shoulder blades and around her ankles are 'flame jewels', the same 'jewels' that are on the Quilava. These jewels burst into flame when Mercury is in a fight, or is angry.
Mercury is very unique, for she has two different colored eyes. One eye is brown, and the other eye is icy blue.
Personality:
Mercury is a spunky little cub that loves to explore. Since she is still kind of young, she likes to chew on objects and chase things. Mercury loves to laugh and have fun, and she simply cannot stand when other are upset, and she is always willing to help others out, unless they're her prey, of course.
Mercury can be very caring and loving, and she definitely loves to be cuddly. She is rather quick to trust others and isn't one to be keen to fighting. Mercury is very, very loyal and wouldn't ever turn her back on a friend. But, Mercury is rather fragile emotionally.
Even if Mercury isn't one to fight, be warned that she will defend her friends with her life. Get on her bad side and you're guaranteed a good fight.
History:
Mercury's mother was a Ninetales, and obviously her father was a Quilava, but Mercury was the runt of her litter of seven. Mercury was also the only female of the litter, so she knows how to defend herself. Because she was the runt and because she was the only female, Mercury was babied quite a bit.
She was born in a small den that was protected by her father who paid more attention to her siblings more than her. The Quilava barely even acknowledged her, but her Ninetales mother paid enough attention to her that she was content without the loving care of her father. Her brothers paid much attention to her, as well, and she's created a close bond with these brothers.
But, now that Mercury is of one year it is time to begin exploring on her own, and wasn't expected to return when the sun fell.
