Patience and perseverance have a magical affect before which difficulties disappear and obstacles vanish.
Although this wasn't his favored area, it was the only place where it was peaceful enough to relax. Silverwind laid in the grass of the Alpine Meadow. His silver fur dancing in the wind. The absol stared up into the bright blue sky. The clouds, big and fluffy, sauntered across it. People spend a lifetime searching for happiness; looking for peace. They chase idle dreams, addictions, religions, even other people, hoping to fill the emptiness that plagues them. The irony is the only place they ever needed to search was within. All of his mind oblivious to anything else around him, but the scenery. His mind skipped across every detail, from the fresh dew on the grass to the pidgey flying in the sky. Silver rolled over onto his stomach. He got into a pouncing position almost as if expecting to see a caterpie, or a weedle pop out of the grass in front of him. May the sun always shine on your windowpane; May a rainbow be certain to follow each rain; May the hand of a friend always be near you; May God fill your heart with gladness to cheer you.
If there was one thing that peeved Silver more than anything, it would be when some obnoxious pokemon came up and ruined his peace & quiet. Hopefully if any pokemon found him lying in the meadow, they would just pass him. Although he knew that that wasn't going to happen. Some pokemon would have the nerve to bother him. Whether it was about the way he looked, or the fact that he looked like he should join the dark horde. Happiness can be defined, in part at least, as the fruit of the desire and ability to sacrifice what we want now for what we want eventually
Silverwind hated the way he looked. If only he looked like a normal absol. Instead of dark blue, he was black. Instead of white, his fur was silver. And to top it all off, he had black markings that stretched across his body like wind.Who knows, maybe he did belong with the dark horde. He looked the part. But that just wasn't his living style. He preferred the easy life. Silver let his tense features relax. He rolled back onto his side, and let out a great big sigh. "If only peace were a given."

Perhaps the grass would be a welcome shelter from the terrifying aspect of the world in general if it hadn't been for the fact that the flame on her tail would have quickly sprouted a fire in the expansive grasslands if she decided to give it the chance. Her brow was furrowed in an almost upset manner as she quickly skirted along the ground, walking on all fours rather than upright like most Charmander did normally. It was easier to hide that way, after all...
If one actually looked at Saika, it would be obvious that she was still rather young to be out and about on her own. Her head was still a bit too big for her body, and even while she walked now the ebony Charmander kept tripping over her own claws. She squeaked in surprised as she once again stumbled over her feet, which resulted in her tumbling to the ground and flipping over before she managed to stop herself with her front claws.
The young Charmander shook her head, trying to clear her azure vision of spinning images as she twitched her tail, which was tipped with a blue flame. Yes, she was definitely extremely young to be without a parent nearby. In truth, it hardly looked like she was capable of hunting for herself! How she had managed to avoid being beset upon and eaten by a larger predator was simply an amazing feat, though perhaps it had to be due to her relatively timid nature.
Even so, being timid could only really get you so far. Particularly when it came to an accidental meeting.
Now that her head had stopped spinning, Saika finally looked around to get a better grip of where exactly she was. Her azure eyes fell on an Absol, and quickly widened as she ducked closer to the ground and covered her head with her claws, tail sticking up in the air.
"Please don't hurt me!" she squeaked, clearly not sure how the Disaster Pokemon would react to her presence. "I didn't mean to disturb you!"
Perhaps the better option would have been to run rather than to cower right there if she was scared she might get hurt but, then, well, Saika wasn't exactly old enough to make the most brilliant decisions quite yet. [/blockquote]

SilverWind sat up. He took a deep breath of fresh air when a little squeak of a noise could be heard under the tall grass. He looked behind him only to see a little blue flame sticking up out of the grass. Silver stood up and walked over to the curious flame. As he approached he saw the small figure of a charmander.
This little creature looked way to young to be out on it's own. It's small paws covered it's head, and it's tail stuck up in the air, dangerously close to lighting the dry grass.
The disaster seemed eminent. Obviously, sooner or later, that young charmander would light the grass. A fire would kill everything, and everyone whether Silver liked it or not. That's how it always was that's why nobody ever talked to him. They just either ran, or attacked him for coming close to their family.
The absol sighed. Keeping silent so he wouldn't give any emotions away within his voice. As long as he wasn't figured out. Life would go back to normal, it always did.
Silver sat back down, and took a deep breath. He constantly watched the little blue flame. Hoping that this time, no disaster would strike.
In his eyes, no matter how hard he tried to deny it, it would surely happen.
