And away she went. Waddling her merry way through the grasses of the forest. Mallory was intent on finding some water; some to drink and some to swim in. Plus, a little bath might do good, too. The yellow Pokemon looked all around her, taking in the sights and sounds. "What a lovely day!" she exclaimed with joy. The bright fireball in the sky hung way above her, heating the plants and Pokemon below.
As she went, Mallory started to feel her forehead warm up considerably. "Whew, I've got find that water fast." The little Psyduck's pace slowed some as she tried to save up some energy. But, somewhere, the tinkling sound of running water caught her attention. Mallory looked around all over, and ran to the nearest clearing. She pushed past some thickets and grass to find a river; a crystal clear river that gave the promise of quenching her thirst and cooling her off.
The Psyduck wasted no time getting into the cool river, sitting on her flat rear and giving a pleasant sigh. "Ah, nice.." she pointed out, splashing playfully and giggling all the while. Now the fireball did not seem threatening anymore, but a bright orange spot in the light blue sky. [/color][/blockquote] |
