Plant Name: Cascuana Plant Type: Bush
Reproductive Method: Seeds
Size/Color/Shape/Taste of fruit: The fruit of the Cascuana Bush comes in the form of swollen teardrop-shaped purple fruits, so bursting to the brim with delicious green nectar that it seeps out of the pores in the fruit's soft leathery skin. A tantalizing blend of tastes, the fruit's skin is sour and savory, the juice refreshing and sweet, and the edible casing in the core of the plant that houses the seeds nutty with a hint of spiciness.
At first taste, it seems like a delicacy fit for Arceus himself, the subtle qualities of the fruit's individual segments melding together and complementing one another when the fruit is eaten whole. However, pokemon who eat from a Cascuana bush very rarely do so again, for it's succulent fruit is not what it seems. Containing traces of salt, disguised by the fruit's juice, eating one such berry will often leave the consumer thirsty for more, if not from the taste, then for the juice. It's aim to get the victim to eat as much as possible, the second secret of this malicious plant then kicks in; for it's juice is a potent and powerful laxative.
Through this disgusting process, the Cascuana Bush's seeds, coated with a special lining to protect it from all but the stomach juices of a Gulpin/Swalot, are provided with a large quantity of fertilizer upon exiting their unfortunate host. Who will, if they are wise, never go near such a plant again.
Habitat of plant: Due to it's disgusting and deceptive survival trait, the Cascuana Bush has become common in many areas, sometimes being brought to new lands for prank purposes as well as by unfortunate birds.
How common is this plant?: Relatively common, especially in regions where it is newly introduced or where there is a lack of communication between pokemon.
