Morning, and the vast expanse of grass in the valley shone like a glittering sea, each blade sprinkled with tiny droplets of misty dew. A cloud of light fog having come down from the higher plains and settling over the valley during the night. Nestled together in a small grassy hollow under one of the many trees dotted around the area, what looked like two pale white balls lay huddled together, the larger and more spherical of the two tossing and turning in his sleep. "M... m-mama... no... MAMA!" The other puffball stirring at It's companion's cry of anguish, a Cleffa with eyes like a Jigglypuff sat up and shook the Igglybuff awake with it's stubby little arms.
"Ectaaaa! Ectaaaaaa! Wake uuuuuuup!" The Cleffa cried in a voice as sweet as syrup, Ecter's eyes opening at his sister's call. "Did you have a bad dweam?" His breathing slowing down, Ecter the Igglybuff hugged his sister affectionately, his body wobbling in what was the equivalent of a nod. "Yeah... I was dreaming about the crash."
"And mama too wight?"
"Yeah, mama too." He confessed, leaning his body against her bouncy flesh, his mouth turned down at the corners with sadness. "Cweer up! T'day we gonna find da moon stone! Den we can see mama and papa again wight?" She asked in her sweetest voice, staring up at him with eyes like Bambi. "Yeah... yeah! So c'mon Ecca! Lets go find mama!" Ecter told his little sister excitedly, bounding up and beginning to run off over the hills, Ecca scrambling to her legs and running after him. Vanishing into the mists, the two ran on for a little until they ran out of breath, unable to see much through the fog. "Big bwother?"
"Yeah Ecca?"
"Wich way awe we going?"
"..."
"Bwother?"
"Ummm..."

"Hello!"
The voice was loud; the voice was cheerful; the voice came from something yellow.
Two small, black eyes stared at the pair. Soon, a smile was seen and red cheeks.
A pikachu waved at them. "What are you two doing out here?" she asked brightly.

Hearing a voice from somewhere nearby, the two turned their bodies left and right, searching for the source. Spotting something yellow and smiling, the two half ran, half bounced over to the Pikachu, smiling at it innocently. "Hewwo!" Ecca cried out, the two twins looking up at the larger Pikachu with their large saucer-like eyes. "It a Pikachew! A Pikachew!" The Cleffa yelled excitedly, pointing one of her stubby arms up at the Pikachu.
Nodding his body/head in enthusiastic agreement, Ester raised a stubby arm politely, like a child asking a teacher a question. "Excoose me Pikachu, can you help us? We fell from space and now we want to go home, have you seen our space ship?" Ecter asked like it was nothing, Ecca joining in. "Dat's wight! We need to find da moon stone... or we won't ever see mama again!" Their eyes beginning to fill with tears, the two star twins looked up at the stranger imploringly. "Pwease, will you help us find it?"

The pikachu scratched her head. "Space ship?" she asked, looking around. She actually didn't know what a space ship was. But the two strange pokemon were cute; and she just had to help them.
She smiled and nodded. "Of course I'll help you!" she exclaimed.

The moment the Pikachu said yes, the sickeningly cute faces of the two twins lit up with joy and excitement, and they bounded up and down happily. "Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay! Thank yoo miss Pikachew!" Ecca exclaimed happily, leaping forwards and hugging the Pikachu. Ecter on the other hand, though he tried to do the same, was having trouble stopping himself from bouncing. His elastic skin making it so that he bounced higher and higher with every jump. "Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! Help me!" He managed to say, before he began half bouncing, half rolling down the hill. "Uwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!"

The pikachu had loved the hug. She hugged the little pink thing back. But then, the male started falling-or something.
"Hang on! Or, wait! Um...." she tried, but forgot about that and started pacing.
"What to do..."
A heavy sigh was heard as an absol came out of nowhere at the bottom of the hill. Effortlessly, he stopped the rolling pokemon.
"I leave you along for two seconds and you get someone in trouble," he grumbled the the pikachu, who just laughed nervously.

Tears streaming from his eyes as he half-bounced half-tumbled down the misty slope, Ecter gave a sudden gasp as something stopped him. Dispelling the force of his bouncing by placing a barrier between himself and the air. Rotating his body so that his stubby feet were once again touching the ground, Ecter looked up at the pokemon that had stopped him, an Absol. Letting out a frightened gasp, his fear quickly subsided when he heard the creature speak to the Pikachu. Mentally labeling it as a friend-of-a-friend they'd just met.
"Phew! Thank yoo mista... ummmmm..." She began, pausing as she tried to think what species her brother's savior was. "Absol! The disaster pokemon! They can hear with their ears when something bad is going to happen!" Ecter interrupted, puffing himself up with pride. "Yeah... I knew that too..." Ecca sulked, crossing her arms and pursing her lips.

The absol smiled at the kids. "They're well-informed," he said to the pikachu who had taken her place on his back. "I was just a baby when we met, remember? How was I 'sposed to know?" she stated, pulling at the fur on the back of his neck and pouting.
"Oh! Kyou! We're gonna help them find their space ship and get back home!" she exclaimed, jumping off of him and taking the hands of Ecca and Ecter.
The absol raised an eyebrow. "Space ship? Where do you live," he asked, "the moon?"

"Uh-huh! Uh-huh!" Ecca cried out excitedly, bounding over to Ecter's side and hugging him. "I don't really remember that well, but Ecter does!" She told them, Ecter nodding his body/head. "That's exactly right mister, we lived on the moon with our parents. Though sometimes we'd fly around inside giant Magnezones!" Pointing up at the veiled sky, he smiled weakly, his lip quivering a little. "Mama and papa are up there... way up high." Ecter told the Pikachu and the Absol, his eyes watering a little. "So we're looking for our ship... the moon stone. So we can go and see them again." Jumping up and down excitedly, Esta stared up cutely at her two new friends, flashing them a playful smile. "Yeah, yeah! It's like a weally weally big black wock, covewed in bumps like a mety... mety... metyour!" She described, trying to remember the right word.

The absol stared at the two. If they didn't look so different, he'd say they were insane. But, his partner believed their story. So, why not help? Just look for a big rock; he could do that.
"I'm sure your parents miss you! Don't worry, we'll send you home!" the pikachu exclaimed.

Bounching up and down and cheering happily, Ecter not doing so due to his earlier accident, Ecca bounced over to the Absol this time and hugged his leg. Or tried to, her arms not long enough to encircle his foot completely. "Thank you thank you THANK YOU mister! And you too missy!" She squealed in delight, all strangers and new aquaintances being some for of 'Mis' to Ecca. Walking carefully over to his sister and their two new traveling companions, Ecter took a quick glance up at the sky - A purple veil with a few stars still visible shining through the fog. Yet to be eclipsed by the light of the sun.
"If that's the Lumineon constellation up there, then I'd say the moon stone will be somewhere over thata way!" Ecter declared, pointing off in the opposite direction of the rising sun, towards some mountains.

"Smart kid," Kyou mumbled, looking up also.
"Wow! After we get you home, promise to come back and visit us! Then you can teach me about the stars!" the pikachu exclaimed, clapping her hands.
While she did that, the absol started to make his way towards the rising sun, then turned back. "Are you two tired? Or hungry, even?" he asked.

Ecter bobbed his body/head and smiled, his cheeks lifting up and covering his eyes in an 'n_n' fashion. "Sure! Once we get back, we'll even show you the moon!" He promised, opening his mouth into an 'o' shape at the sound of a deep rumbling nearby. "Ooooops... sowwy..." Ecca apologized, suddenly hungry now that Kyou had brought it up. "Well... we had some berries the other night from a bush, but apart from that we've not eaten much."
Bouncing from foot to foot, now looking around eagerly for signs of food, Ecca, put her hand up to her mouth, which was watering. "But not tiwed! Awwwwwwww! But hungweeeeeee! Let's find some foowd soown!" She begged, abusing the 23rd letter of the alphabet even more than usual in a show of desperation.

Kyou nodded, looking around. "Um...I guess we need to find some berries...but I don't know if we'll find much here," he grumbled, mostly to himself. He was a canine, he could eat whatever small thing he could catch. But, since he had taken care of the PIkachu for so long, he had gotten out of hunting. And the young ones surely were herbivores.
The pikachu glanced around, her stomach grumbling.
