Tensions were high between the legendaries. Examples being Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres or Suicune, Raikou, or Entei. No one ever thought it would be this bad. It was a simple push, when Team Rocket, Team Magma, and Team Aqua started to push towards poaching legendaries. The legends retaliated.
In a sudden mistake while Zapdos was attacking, a renegade lighting bolt hit Moltres. Moltres retaliated and soon Articuno was pulled into the conflict. Similar events occurred with Entei, Suicune, and Raikou.
Team Galactic decided it was their time to take Dialga and Palkia. In a vain attempt they tried to capture them but failed, thus angering both the rulers of time, and space. They ended up fighting each other and time and space was being shredded once again. The other legends were soon pulled into these conflicts, decimating cities and Pokemon habitats.
In the end, no one was sure what happened, but the legends somehow disappeared. Dialga and Palkia as well. The world was trapped between dimensions. With habitats destroyed and the cities burning. Humans and Pokemon died, making the world scarce and barren.
It has been 100 years since that happened. The world is stuck between time and space. Humans and Pokemon haven't been wasting time though. They slowly learned to adapt.
The Pokeballs were utterly useless in the dimension so now training Pokemon was based mostly on trust instead of battling and capturing them. For an odd reason, certain Pokemon could talk in the human language if they wanted to. This excluded the Psychics because they had adapted to speaking human 50 years before the incident.
Living in the world is harder than it used to be and the chance of death has risen dramatically. The humans and Psychics have also noticed that slowly, day by day, the world is disappearing into nothing. Not a single other soul was notified at first, but then things became pretty obvious when cities were disappearing overnight.
Mew and Celebi made their appearance soon after. They were long thought dead and now everyone is trying to find them to see if they can return the world to what it once was.
Things got even worse when a new team showed up. Their name is unknown to the populace as they hide themselves from everyone. Their goal is to find Mew and Celebi and force them to make the world as they like it where they hold dominant power over everything.
Now things were getting tense (not to say things were not tense before but...) and now humans and Pokemon alike are trying to find Mew and Celebi first.
Which side will you join? Aim to save the world, or to conquer it. It all revolves around Mew and Celebi. With the other legends dead, they are the only hope to stop the world's destruction.
