Vitani shuffled slowly through the vegetation, not enjoying is peppy greenness at the moment. A small yellow flower was crushed underfoot as she spied a patch of dirt just ahead of her. Her red eyes widened, a small smile tugging at the corners of her mouth. If there was one thing that the small larvitar couldn’t resist, it was her urge to devour soil. Her large jaws parted, no teeth visible in her mouth, and buried her face into the earth. Before long, she’d dug herself into a small hole; small, but still deep enough that she couldn’t get herself out by climbing. She grumbled under her breath, and began eating again, attempting to create small steps in order to release herself.
The soil was bitter and granular, tasty to her, and the crunch made it difficult for her to listen for potential enemies that might ambush her in her current predicament. It wasn’t uncommon that the small pokemon was bullied, but it was even more uncommon that she turned down any threat that presented itself to her. She growled slightly to herself, plumed tail twitching lightly. Her stomach growled back, letting her know that it was never full. That was the curse of the species, she supposed, larvitars destroyed whole mountains and ate them sometimes. It sounds exaggerated, but she knew good and well it was not.
Her head raised quickly, and she swallowed hastily. Eyes darted around and the spine atop her head struck the sunlight brilliantly. Someone there? She asked, her voice low but clearly enunciated. She’d heard something rustling in the grass above her, and she moved herself into the small area of shadow beneath overhanging soil as she waited for the creature to appear.
((sorry its short =] no more than two people besides Jes reply please. Gets too confusing ^_^))

"Where IS IT?" A voice rang around the hole from somewhere above. There was another shuffling sound above, and the sound of claws digging into the dirt. The sound stopped, then started again a little further away. A growl rolled round the area, before a blue light lit the area. A Dragon Rush, aimed at the ground, had destroyed a large chunk of the area, blasting the walls of the Lavitar's little hole inward.
The owner of the attack had unconsciously caused a slope to appear in the smaller Pokemon's hole, making it easy for it to climb out. The Pokemon wasn't even aware it had company, never mind that it was trapped in a whole. It's blue head was swiveling round as it's yellow eyes scanned the place it had attacked. "Ergh, I was sure it was here! It has to be here!"
The creature growled again, slamming a fierce claw into the ground. Fierce talons raked at the ground as a blue tail whipped around behind it. A large dorsal fin wa sthe only thing that could be seen as it ripped and teared at the ground, throwing the dirt behind it. It shrieked, the sound half way between anger and sadness.
The shriek soon turned into a whine as the dragon Pokemon sat back. "Oooooooooh," the Gabite said sadly. "I can't have lost it!"

Dirt exploded around the area in a shower of debris, and Vitani let out a loud ugh! as chunks of rock clicked and clattered into her rock-hard skin. She let out a tiny growl in her throat, Watch what you’re doing! She yelled to the surface, now trudging up the accidental slop out of the hole. Her small paws dug into the dirt as she pulled herself back into the lush and green world of above. She blinked harshly against the sunlight and then turned to see who’d nearly buried her alive down there. Blue against orange blinded her again as the lights struck the scales of the dragon Pokémon before her.
Vitani could smell gemstones a mile away, and this creature reeked of them. Why don’t you watch where you’re--- She paused, huffing lightly, What’re you looking for anyway? She desperately hoped it wasn’t something that would be in dirt, she was pretty sure she would have devoured it and never known the difference. She took this opportunity to examine the Pokémon more closely now that her eyes were adjusting to the light. The gabite was two foot taller than her, easily, but was built for speed, this she could see. Unlike herself, she could rarely get her short legs to move faster than a stumbling walk.
Her eyes narrowed at it again, needless to say she wasn’t planning on attacking it. He’d used some kind of beam… Dragon beam, but she didn’t know that. Hyper beam was her best bet, and she only knew three real attacks right now: tackle, leer, and bite. Leer seemed plastered permanently on her face, but as for now a look of puzzlement shattered the façade a bit.
Must be something important for you to nearly bury me alive over it. Not that Vitani would have a problem with that, she could eat her way out.

The great mountains soon gave passage to the lucious greenery that was the Alpine meadows, yet the great ancient pokemon would have never known otherwise as he swiftly surveyed his first new surroundings in several decades. His great skilled wingspan struck cautiously upon the unknown air as he neared the new terra and knew he'd need a rest. He bellowed, a call to warn others of his approaching landing as he began to slow his beats and drop carefully to the ground. Soon his long taloned rear limbs felt earth again and he hunched forward looking abruptly to his Espeon accomplice.
I need a rest, my friend...these old bones not like they used to be!
He chuckled, but quickly turned his full attention to the other two pokemon remaining nearby. A larvitar and a Gabite, a few rock pokemon that old Granite rarely saw in his territory and was a little surprised to find out here in the middle of a field. He didn't approach, there was no telling who was good or bad nowadays, wings flaired upward as shielding agents for the espeon and himself.
Careful, I wouldn't approach unless their alliance is firmly noteable.
Sometimes he sounded much more intellectual than he wanted to, but no matter then, his primary concern was to prepare for flight once more if they proved dangerous to them both.

The espeon leaped gracefully off of his compainions back and stretched. Flying was amazing, but he realized that the ground was a much more suited place for him.
Auron quickly noted the other two pokemon and grinned at Granite. "Hey, on the bright side, you don't scare every living thing away!" he joked.

The Gabite snarled to itself, before turning on the Lavitar. "Is that any of your concern?" he growled, though he couldn't quite muster up the anger he had before. If there was a Lavitar here, that meant others came often. Could someone have taken it?
He squealed as two more Pokemon approached, and immediatly growled, desperate tp protect whatever he was looking for.
(Urgh, quite short sorry)
