Asaru the abra waited in a small clearing in the center of the middle meadow. There was a circle of pokemon around him, watching. ' Join the crusades against evil, destruction, and mayhem. Come to the middle meadows.' He shouted out telepathically to anyone in range. He would wait only a little longer for pokemon to appear. He had to be in the rainforest by nightfall. . .

Faint echoes reached a slumbering mind, bringing it back up to speed with the spark of curiosity and the strangeness of the unknown. Maroon eyelids opened to reveal a bright day, nothing proving to be out of the ordinary.
Crek had been napping in the trees for quite some time, and the charmander had been almost startled by the mental broadcast sent out. Although its origin had been in the middle of the meadows, the charmander had received the message, but was unable to fully comprehend what the message had actually said, only picking up the "middle meadows" fragment.
He quickly stretched out and began to move, feet propelling him from branch to branch quickly as he traveled towards the mentioned place, having no idea who had told him this nor why the voice had insisted upon traveling in that direction. Having not been too deep in the forest surrounding the entirety of the middle meadow, arriving at the boarder hadn't taken Crek too long. Keeping his place in a tree, the lizard-like pokemon looked on in curiosity at the gathering, not attempting to hide, but not in plain sight either.
Although he was interested in figuring out what was going on, Crek remained silent just to observe the meeting.

Asaru had his eyes closed. The abra sent out another mental call. Join the crusades against evil, destruction, and mayhem. Come to the middle meadows.' It was for everybody with any kind of curiosity, but not everybody could join. Horde members could not join.
On the other side of the meadow, somebody did hear the call. It wasn't a charmander, and it wasn't a Piplup, instead it was a beldum that zoomed up. The grass parted for the charging blue bullet, as it zoomed and blasted it's way to it's destination. The missle appeared a blue blur and stopped just as suddenly and said "yes, sir!" It was a beldum, strong and proud, waiting around for who knew how long. The metal pokemon had awnsered the call.

As the small Abra was sending out the message, there was a dark blue Altaria passing overhead, she was speeding by when she heard then she stopped and turned around, and she saw on the meadow a crowd of pokemon, surrounding an Abra the other pokemon she saw was a Beldum, the first time she did not fully understand the message so she flew lower to see if she could hear it better. 'Join the crusades against evil, destruction, and mayhem. Come to the middle meadows' She heard it clearly this time and she knew she could help, so she flew up high and dove down into the ground, when she almost hit the floor she quickly diverted and landed on a nearby bush, forgetting she was big she landed on a bush to small and the branch snapped and she fell onto the floor 'Damn so much for a good landing'

' Join the crusades against evil, destruction, and mayhem. Come to the middle meadows.'
A large bird plummeted through the still air like a gray and white missile, pulling out of his dive just before smashing into the ground, the Staraptor made an expert landing on the grass beside the Abra.
"Asaru," the General acknowledged his ally with a nod, pleased to see that several Pokemon were answering his call. The Staraptor searched the crowd of faces, among them a Charmander, a Beldum and an Altaria. All would make fine soldiers, if they decided to join the cause.
Warbeak hoped that he and Asaru would be able to recruit them, as the Crusade would need every available soldier to succeed in the coming mission.

((Figured I'd better post in here. We should start planning a mission for our little group, now that people are showing interest. =D))

General Warbeack dwarfed the little abra, who was already small by his speicies standards. Asaru yawned lazily, resting his eyes behind heavy eyelids. The psychic pokemon had to sleep a lot, but that didn't stop him from doing what he wanted. At least it didn't stop him anymore.
Warbeak The abra acknoledged the other crusade member mentally. While Asaru was new to the crusaders, he rarely used honorifics like General, or captain, nor did he like to be called by any sort of title.
The abra didn't move, but suddenly he was on the other side of the little clearing. He had used the move, teleport to appear there. I called you all here. My name is Asaru and I am a crusader. The crusaders are a group against the forces of evil. One pokemon would be crushed going against the Evil Horde, but we are more than just a few. With each new addition to the crusaders we become more powerful. The abra threw the mental image of a small growing light shining in the darkness to go along with his mental words.

Crek heard the second broadcast of Asaru's message, including the follow up information about the Crusaders. With a sigh and what looked like a hesitant twitch in deciding whether or not to actually assist against the Horde, the charmander had made his way out of his 'perch'; landing on the ground with a soft *thud*. Still, he hadn't voiced any word of interest or of pessimism of the idea, but his mind was racing with thoughts of possiblilites of what could go wrong with attempting to go after the Horde.
Keeping his silent demeanor, the charmander walked up to the small group of pokemon and just gave a nod as comfirmation for his participation, just barely making eye-contact with the dwarf-abra. Although the young lizard was participating with the Crusaders, it would be require a long time of pensive thought and observation before Crek would call himself an ally or member of the coalition.

As Chiruu watched the Staraptor plummet to the ground she wondered if she could that good at flying, but her attention was shortly diverted back to the Abra when she teleported, to a new spot and started talking, When the Staraptor mentioned Arsaru previously she did not know whether it was a girl or boy's name but she assumed Asaru was a girl by her size, growing up with her family the Males were all larger than the females so she assumed the same thing for this, but she was quickly distracted and horrified by a mental image placed in front of her by a light growing out of the dark, she instantly used a safeguard hoping to block out the image but it did not work, but she did keep the safeguard up, she was not prepared to lose anything.

Meanwhile, a Pidgeotto who had been passing over the meadow, heard a voice in his head. It was a jumble of noise, and it confused the bird Pokemon at first, but when he looked down and spotted a large crowd of Pokemon, he understood what the message was about.
Keenai swooped down and perched in the lower limbs of a dead tree, overlooking the crowd of Pokemon. He had heard of this group, The Crusade, who wanted to free Erymire from the Horde. Now was his chance to join with them in their efforts.
Keenai picked out Warbeak's face in the crowd, recognizing the Staraptor from the fight against the black Rayquazza, and swooped down to land before the large gray and white bird. "I will fight with you," he said, a steely glint in his eye.
The General nodded, "and so I welcome you into the ranks of the Crusade." He replied. Spreading his wings, he fluttered to perch atop a large rock, so that all could see and hear what he had to say next. "Anyone else who wishes to join us...now is your chance."

As Chiruu watched the Pidgeotto dive down from the skies and then heard him pledge itself to the Starptor, Chiruu felt the urge to fight against evil too, she thinks her mother has a part in this because she told her to help all good pokemon, Chiruu felt like she had to to carry out the final wish of her dead mother.
She was not completely sure then she heard the Starptor "Anyone else who wishes to join us...now is your chance." Chiruu walked up to the Staraptor and said. "I will join you and help until the skies turn black and the stars fall from the skies, that is when I shall be dead." Chiruu felt satisfied that she could help the good destroy the evil.

Crek looked over at Chiruu, mentally noting the tone and demeanor of the Altaria. He somewhat tore it appart silently to himself, figuring that the small group would most likely die before they put even a dent into the Horde's forces. A very quiet chuckle eminated from the charmander as he gave a glace towards the rest of the Crusade recruit group.

Asaru's mental images and message went silent for Warbeak's pronouncement. The asaru flickered up onto the branch next to Warbeak, completely still. The little psychic pokemon waited patiently, while Warbeak let everybody who was new join. After this, the new recruits would start their first mission.
The beldum rolled it's single red eye up to the funny looking bird above. "Okay! What's a rank? Is it like a bank, cause I like banks, and you know what ryhmes with bank? Sank, like sank into quicksand, or sank into the sandy bank." The blue beldum rambled on in a metallic, but musical voice. The Blue piece of iron zoomed figure eights around the pokemon still on the ground, moving faster and faster every time, until he became a blur.

(aww, no one else posted?)
Although the charmander was normally calm and patient, hyperactivity got on Crek's nerves quicker than most other annoyances. With a deep, long sigh, he tried to spot the zooming beldum, and in a somewhat quiet voice asked, "Can you please stop talking, and moving for no reason? It's kinda giving me a headache." Although he lied, Crek knew that if the blue floating object that somehow got instilled with a soul continued to speak without some sort of point behind it, his head would be well on its way to the false condition.

Chiruu was enjoying watching the little beldum, she knew that if they were to defeat the Horde they could not have lazy pokemon with no energy, then the little Fire Lizard said something.
"Can you please stop talking, and moving for no reason? It's kinda giving me a headache."
Chiruu thought this was quite rude and did not like it, this lizard was not very nice.
"Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed, this morning, it would be more fun if you had fun you know."
Although Chiruu was mostly nice there was something about this, Charmander that made her feel uncomfortable,it didn't help that the Lizard gave out a small chuckle after she decided to oin the forces.

Crek simply took the agitated words of the dark blue cloud-like bird very lightly, already deeming his perception of the situation quite different than what the bird seemed to have assumed. Yet, despite his lack of being faltered by Chiruu's words, he still spoke in a small, quiet voice. "Do you truly realize what situation you have just pledged yourself to? The 'fun' you so wish to have stopped the instant you proudly claimed 'I will join you and help until the skies turn black and the stars fall from the skies, that is when I shall be dead.'," being able to recall the altaria's words was something that the charmander could easily do. Having been alone for quite some time, Crek easily obtained a pensive mind and the ability to sort his thoughts away to recall upon them later, which in turn helped him with other skills of his that he severely lacked in--such as combat.
"If you take how much the Horde has done just to coalitions not too much smaller than this one," Crek did have a rough idea about how large the Crusade was, forest word gets around quickly, "that consisted of the local packs, loaners and even previous enemies, then you'd realize how high of a chance of you actually seeing the sky turning black..."
Crek wasn't one to disrespect, so after a small hesitation he added, "Although I do respect that you're doing more than what some do in order to help stop the problem."

The beldum looked confused. "Sorry, mister. I don't talk. It's called, umm, I don't know what It's called. Not talking. No, sir ree. Talking needs a mouth. I don't have a mouth. See!" The blurring beldum suddenly stopped right in front of the fire pokemon, it's single red eye looking up at the pokemon, waiting. The beldum didn't wait long, or maybe he couldn't. The blue missile dissapeared. one moment it was there, the next it wasn't. "I'm stuck!" Came a muffled sound. "Something's touching me! Somethings touching me!"
The little abra opened it's eyes a little bit and smiled. "Don't worry, Crek. We know the horde, inside, and out. All it's agents, the rift, and what we must do now. There is going to be a raid, not far from here. We can't let them capture innocent pokemon, so we won't let them." The abra mentally spoke as if telling the time of day.

Flames sparked behind Crek as the beldum got a little too close to his face, "C'mon..." he replied, taking a step back, "No need to get so close..." Shaking his head, the charmander couldn't help but be slightly amused at the blue metal's childish behavior, ~Ugh, he's annoying, but at least he isn't an ass...~ he thought, no outward emotion showing.
As the Beldum began to utter its muffled shouts, Crek focused upon the Abra giving him information via mind link. Giving a somewhat solemn stare to the psychic pokemon, the charmander gave back his own tell, just not broadcasted like the abra had done, ~"I hope you're right..."~ Just then, it registered that the annoying blue object was actually pleading for help.
Sprinting over to where he had heard the voice, the charmander couldn't exactly tell where the beldum had disappeared to. "Aww, where did you go...?" he asked himself, hoping that the beldum would once again send some sort of becon.

He would have continued searching for his lunch, however, his appetite had left him, and the prospect of eating beneath a burning hot sun did not quite appeal to Kayon. Shieling his eyes to the sky, he walked half-heartedly across the meadow, when, suddenly, a loud voice rang in his mind. Jerking his head up abruptly, he scanned the valley until his eyes rested on a small cluster of pokemon. There were quite a couple of bird types, and it appeared that a strange blue one was zooming back and forth, until it suddenly disappeared from view. Standing stalk still, he narrowed his eyes, contemplating what he should do. Finally, curiosity got the best of him, and the totodile walked over to the group, his penetrating gaze rather intimidating.
I wonder who's voice it was that I heard... Something about defeating the hordes...
He didn't know much about the horde, he had never met someone from it. However, many pokemon had told him that they were a nasty bunch who lived in a castle, capturing innocent pokemon. He heard many different rumors about them. Some said they ate the flesh off babies, others that those who deflected were slaughtered. Shrugging, he realized that either way, they didn't exactly sound like cheerful pokemon.
"Hello....."
He stated simply, walking up to the group. He wasn't sure what would be a wise decision to make. Clearly, the horde was despised. But if they were really hated that much, then obviously they must have been quite dangerous and strong to cause that muh trouble as to groups being formed to defeat them. Tilting his head, he stared at the ragtag bunch. They didn't exactly look like fighters, but he himself was more of a traveler. But he had a goal. To defeat someone, deal his revenge. However, to do this, he would need to become as powerful as possible, and perhaps his enemy lay within the horde. Stiffening, he stared at the ground for a moment, and then, without a second thought, looked up.
"I would like to join you too.... If that's alright."

Chiruu listened to Crek but she didn't like what he said, even though she knew he was probably right. When the beldum started complaining and Crek ran over in the direction Chiruu decided to go and help Crek out, when she got there she saw Crek looking for him. She asked
"Um where did that Pokemon get to now. Did you see where he went??"

The charmander gave an amused chuckle in response to the altaria's question, then gave quite the blunt reply, but still having a sense of humor about it, "Well if I had seen where he had gone, then why would I be wasting time looking for him?" Crek wasn't exactly the best at making friendly connections with other pokemon, and he knew so and did very little to attempt to change his ways; he had gotten used to being alone and isolated for his entire life. "Hey, blue guy! Where'd you take off to?" the charmander called out, hoping for some sort of response.

Chiruu thought for a moment. "Good point, I never really think about things." Chiruu felt quite stupid after asking a stupid question. She decided to call out too. "Um... Mr Beldum Sir where did you go.?"
