Throwing some more ideas out here.
character's name: Rudy
species: Growlithe
age: Roughly 3 years
sex: Male
description: A large, white, shaggy growlithe with fawn-colored stripes. Though he's not an albino, it's easy enough to assume he's one. His eyes are dark brown, and his ears flop down slightly at their tips.
personality: Friendly, lively, with the tendency to bond to certain species easily - especially to those of a hooved and woolly persuasion. However, if he feels that either he or any charges he's currently protecting are threatened, then most of that friendliness goes out the window and he becomes fiercely protective and serious. While he does well with other growlithes, with sheep, and with various smaller animals (the ones he doesn't decide to eat, anyways), he's cautious of other larger predators, since they're the ones that could cause the most harm to the pokemon he was originally bred to protect.
history: He was separated at a young age from his parents, but not because of any accident. As one of the latest in a bloodline of supposedly spectacular sheepdogs, he was taken from them as soon as he was old enough to be away from his mother. Indeed, although he'd stayed with his mother until he was weaned, his strongest earliest memories are of being put among groups of bleating beasts, taking comfort from their warm wool.
"He'll make a fine sheepdog one day," the human who owned him would say to anybody who was willing to listen.
Perhaps that human was right. However, as fate would have it, the chance to prove that statement never came. Rudy was dognapped some time later by someone jealous of the farmer's acquisition and unwilling to pay the price for a similar growlithe. Poor Rudy had to experience living in conditions that weren't right for him; living in a place too small for a growing puppy, with no one else around to talk to or play with. The person who took him certainly didn't know how to properly take care of a dog. Fortunately, Rudy didn't have to put up with those conditions for too long...and unfortunately, that also meant that he was dumped out into the wild, some distance from his home.
(He never knew it, but he was put there since the dognapper refused to turn him back over to his rightful owner.)
Alas, poor pup...alone in the wilderness, and scared. It was good for him that he missed the mightyena pack that lived in that immediate area and stumbled upon the small growlithe pack, for if he hadn't then his history might have ended here. As it was, the growlithes took pity on this strange, white, and most importantly starving pup, and accepted him into their pack - but not without making it clear that he, being an outsider, and a strange one at that, was the lowest of the low until he proved himself otherwise.
Okay, said Rudy. Even that was still a heck of a lot better than being left out here alone.
What happened next with the growlithes' pack is mostly of things too unimportant to write about, except for perhaps how he came to be driven out. Even after a few seasons, he was always considered a bit of an oddball by the other growlithes, who were all of normal orange fur. There were times, many times actually, where some of the others considered just leaving him behind as his white fur was extremely conspicuous; however, his strength and size made him a good ally to have.
The growlithes eventually wandered to a place where the denryuu were many, and where not many other packs seemed to roam. Easy pickings, they assumed. They couldn't take on a whole flock of sheep by themselves, but surely a few growlithes could take down one of the stragglers. The plan was to wait until one of the sheep separated itself from the flock, and then attack it.
However, when they found their sheep and started their attack, that was when they in turn were attacked by Rudy. Even being in the wild for some time hadn't quite dampened his bred-in instinct to protect things of an ovine nature, and his attempts to stop the others from attacking the sheep ended up with several of them injured, including - to his worst luck - the alpha male.
Enough! the pack said. Opinions had been against him before, and now they were definitely polarized against him again. He's already been a major liability in the past. If he's going to do nothing but help our prey, then he can just go out there and make friends with them, they said. Get out, get out now, and don't show your furry sheep-loving tail to us ever again.
Harsh words. Nothing Rudy said would make them change their minds, and trying to tag along behind them to curry favor with them again only brought their teeth against his throat. Shocked by this, Rudy ended up moping for a while over it, until he realized that it might be better if he found a pack that was better suited for him anyways.
The growlithe's been roaming and looking for a new pack ever since then, but while he's careful about mentioning what he's done, not many packs seem to want a dog who'll seem to scare away their prey with his bright-colored fur.
character's name: [doesn't have a name, for reasons mentioned below. However, I'll go and try and find a suitable name for her.]
species: Fuwante
age: Physically, a few months old.
sex: Female
description: Normal Fuwante in physical appearance.
When she speaks, her voice has a definite feminine tone to it, more like the voice of a young female than anything else. However, what makes it noteworthy is that there seems to be yet another tone there at the same time, softer than her main one, so it sounds like she's talking in two voices at once.
personality: Seems naive and carefree - however, she has different "personalities" that seem to run the gamut from being nice and sweet (her "normal" personality, and the one seen the most) to rather mischievous. These aren't actually different personalities, but just different facets of the composite personality made up from all the souls that form her* (as she's a Fuwante who had the (mis)fortune to not have just one soul in her).
* There's only like three or so that make her up. This is because, according to Fuwante's flavor text, it's made up from solidified pokemon and human souls. I just kinda ran away with that idea when I was originally making this sheet up.
She tends to talk in the plural all the time, as she has problems thinking of herself as a single entity. She knows a lot more about things than she lets on; however, due to her nature, while she has all the memories of the souls that make her up she can't willingly call on them. They need to be triggered by something, whether it's a simple remark (for simple memories) or by watching certain kinds of events.
She also seems to be rather fearless towards most pokemon, though this stems from knowing that not much can harm her - except for electric, dark, and ghost attacks (and whatever else would harm a ghost/flying type). She does show obvious caution around pokemon of such elements, however.
history: It was a partly cloudy evening over a patch of hallowed ground (just a small area with some buried bones or something, nothing big) when she suddenly came into being. If there'd been anybody watching, they would have seen a growing light, and then a small flash that coalesced into the shape of the ghostly balloon. It drifted there for a moment, unsure of what had just happened; various images filled its mind, various bits of past personalities and memories. What was it? It was...her. Did it need any more of and explanation? No, wait, it was...us. Yes, that seemed more fitting, considering the varied images that sloshed through the ghost's mind. What about a name, though? Did we even need a name? A name seemed like something just for one pokemon, and we are not just one...are we? There didn't seem like a name that could fit her, anyways...
'She' spent the whole night there coming to those kinds of conclusions, and then started to float away, looking for the reason as to why she was put here; she wasn't sure why, yet, but she was certain she'd find it soon enough...
She still hasn't figured it out, but she doesn't mind - in fact, she's just about forgotten that by now. She's happy enough with just roaming around and meeting new pokemon.
