Name of Species: Felissi
Elemental Type(s): Dark/Flying
Size: 2'10" in height; 50-55 lbs
Method of Reproduction: Too young to reproduce
Description/Appearance: Felissi appear somewhat catlike with a puppy body shape. It's fur is silky, and has a glossy finish, and it has two tails, akin to those of a Meowth. It's small wings are about two feet in wingspan, and they are generally not used unless they're hunting or fleeing from anything that startles them.
Disposition: Somewhat skittish, Felissi are curious and pursue their prey until it grows tired. Often they use their wings to swoop down and catch their prey. Felissi love to groom themselves, and they enjoy long, soaking baths. Felissi live in packs with Kttalpur and Mryiah, usually with one female and one male leader.
Habitat: Most packs settle in forrested areas, or by some sort of water source. There are only two nomad packs in existance, one that lives in the West Savannas, and another in the Tallgrass Prairie. These nomad packs travel the area from place to place during certain seasons, and this behavior is speculated to be caused by the lack of forest trees.
What does this pokémon eat?: Felissi are omnivores, eating anything they can find when they get hungry. Males prefer eating meat, such as small birds, rodents and things, and Females have no real preference. In large packs, fresh kill must be brought back to camp before anything can be eaten.
How common is this pokemon?: In forests, and most of Eastern Erymire, they are quite common due to the fact that those areas are quite abundant in trees. In cold climates, they are uncommon, but conditions are usually liveable if they settle in a cave. In other areas, or areas that are extremely hot such as a desert, they are very rare, as even lone Felissi hardly venture there due to such heavy coats.
Name of Species: Kttalpur (female Felissi evolution)
Elemental Type(s): Normal/Flying
Size: 3'05" in height; 70-73 lbs.
Method of Reproduction: Sexual; live-birth (litters of 2-3)
Description/Appearance: Kttalpur are not much bigger than they were as Felissi, but have a dramatically increased wingspan of three to four feet and have sparkling golden fur. They have small heads with sharply pointed ears and they have a sort of 'skirt; of fur just above their two tails, and their wings are the color of their fur.
Disposition: Very collected Pokemon, Kttalpur manage themselves well, and don't anger easily. However, they are very protective of their litters, and don't waste time to excersice their rights as mothers. In battle, they are always testing their limits, carefully judging their opponents.
Habitat: (same as Felissi)
What does this pokémon eat?: Kttalpur, like their offspring, are omnivores, eating a balanced diet of berries, prey, and herbs. Quiet, reserved Kttalpur prefer sweet or bitter berries, and proud or adamant Kttalpur perfer spicy or sour. Few Kttalpur like dry berries, but most will still eat them. Their live prey consists of birds, rodents, and a few small snakes.
How common is this pokemon?: (same as Felissi)
Name of Species: Myriah (male Felissi evolution)
Elemental Type(s): Electric/Flying
Size: 4'10" in height; 92-95 lbs.
Method of Reproduction: Sexual; live birth (litters of 2-3)
Description/Appearance: They have thick black coats that are not as silky as it was when they were Felissi, and have a heavily muscular chest. Their legs are slender, and they often run instead of flying with their four to five foot wingspan. To cover long distances, they will fly instead of run. Bright patches of yellow fur adorn their forelegs, the inside of their ears, and on the star-shaped ends of their two tails.
Disposition: Ferocious and territorial, they are the protectors of their families and packs. Every two years, competitions are held against other Myriah to fight for the opportunity to be leader of the pack. Their mate automatically becomes their second in command if they win. No Myriah is require to participate; the competitions are optional.
Habitat: (same as Felissi and Kttalpur)
What does this pokémon eat?: Myriah are entirely carnivores. They often attack larger prey such as Girafarig in groups of three or four, sometimes five. If they're hunting alone, they'll eat anything from birds, fish, rodents or snakes.
How common is this pokemon?: (same as Felissi and Kttalpur)
Notes: I was just thinking that there should be a winged quadraped. If you've ever seen Keroberos from Cardcaptors, you should know what I'm getting at. You know, that big lion thing with wings? That's what I was trying to do here, and even if it doesn't get accepted, I like how the sprites turned out.
Felissi also evolve at Level 20, just to clear that up.
