[align=center]The Eyes of the Beast[/align]
[align=right]v.1.0: War on the Horizon[/align]
In the lands of the youkai, there are four major powers rising. Each f the four of them represent a direction, an element, and a Beast God. In all of this chaos, only Shidi remains untouched. The war is mounting, tensions are high, and it is feared that a youkai war will reign horrific consequences down upon the humans that would be caught in the middle. Fear seems to be a way of life these days.
[align=right]Sairyuu ~ Water
The Western Lands
Lord: Sesshomaru[/align]
It is no secret that Sesshomaru, son of Inu Taisho, has always been power hungry. When it comes to emotions, or care for those that follow him, he had none. He tolerates no human. His god, Sairyuu, the Water Dragon... is also the god of war, so it is only fitting that Sesshomaru's intolerance of humans is what seems to be fueling much of this war. And it is harder still on some of the more caring youkai that he is willing to use the human infestation to his advantage in times of battle. Sairyuu delivers extended strength to the members of Sesshomaru's forces.

The Southern Lands
Lady: Miru Maki[/align]
Miru Maki is the lady of the Southern Lands, a phoenix demon unrivaled. She is Sesshomaru's biggest enemy in his wishes to use the might of his father's army to wipe out humanity. She is not a loving creature, but she does not believe in genocide based on little more then an Inu's distain. Suzaku, the great phoenix protects her troupes, making them very hard to kill because she is able to summon him to resurrect the dead.

The Eastern Lands
Lord: Okami Kougai[/align]
For the most part, Kouga's wolves stay out of the battle between fire and water. They have enough troubles of their own fending off attacks from Sesshomaru's allies of the Sky Kingdom. He does not at all agree with the annihilation of the human element, and is bold enough to face off with the Inu Lord and his allies to call Sesshomaru a hypocrite for waging this war while tending to Rin. Genbou, the land tortoise, protects the Okami clan. He is a rock of a god, with the ability to take a great deal of damage, passing this on to all of Kouga's Men.

The Sky Kingdom (North)
Lord: Karasu Shishio[/align]
For centuries the world was safe from the tyranny and sadistic nature of the Karasu Clan because of his hate for Sesshomaru's existence. No one expected it when they joined forces. If there is one thing that Shishio dislikes more then Sesshomaru, it is the interference of the human element. He finds them useful only for breeding, and would have them enslaved rather then killed, He and Sesshomaru have a tense agreement. Byakuu, the White Tiger of the Air grants those that join forces with Shishio, even the ones bound to the ground, the ability to fly.

The Underground Demon City
Lord: Oujou Tashiri[/align]
Shidi stands in the middle of all of this. Once the center of Youkai life, the underground city now rarely plays host to more then another battle field. Recently Lord Oujou of the Moth Clan has taken over the care of Shidi. While he has no love of humans, and often finds delight in their death and suffering, and personally, he agrees with Sesshomaru's cause, he will not have the wars spilling into the streets of Shidi. And the Death Moths are more then willing to enforce that with deadly consiquence.
