COMPETITION: Dark-doers

Hi, 'tis Jespeon here. Now, you'll all probably know about Zilla, but if you don't I'll give you a quick summary before I carry on. Basically she's an evil Rayquaza who is Rayzor's daughter but no-one knows it yet. She's black scaled rather than the usual green. And she has an incredibly short temper. Her plan is to take over Erymire and gain revenge on Rayzor, though no-one knows why... yet. She has strange ghost like slaves that she can conjour called her Dark-doers.

I've noticed we have a lot of budding young spriters here on Erymire, and I thought it might be quite interesting to see your versions of possible Dark-doers, hence the name of the competition. I loved making the sprite though it isn't great so I thought, there are probably some other people out there who could make a great one.

So, your task is to make Zilla some more Dark-doers.

Her minions need to be evil, not too big, pretty strong and preferably the same kind of colours as herself so mainly black with a little bit of yellow possibly. Preferably a ghost, dark or psychic Pokemon or mix of two or all three, unless you can think of a brilliant Pokemon that would fit it that isn't like that. And thats about it. Oh and it must be your own work. You'll be disqualified if I find it came from somewhere else.

And you'll all want to know the Prizes won't you? So here they are:

1st - Your sprite will be used as Zilla's Dark-doers and you'll get a minor legendary as one of your characters

2nd - A minor legendary

3rd - A fully evolved Pokemon

Runner-up - A Pokemon one stage higher than what you are currently allowed.

These prizes are subject to change if Wynn does not allow me to give them out.

If any of these prizes don't make sense or you don't know what a minor legendary is, or if you're not sure about anything else to do with the competition, just pm me, I'll be happy to help.

I'll post the closing date later but it'll basically be a while yet, since I'm pretty sure this is Erymire's first proper competition. Staff are allowed to enter (except me obviously since I'm, judging) and don't expect me to be biased toward anyone, I'm a fierce spriter, so I'll judge fairly.

There's Mightyena, Houndoom and Latios. I nearly had it part Umbreon, too, but it didn't work xP

Just thought I'd let you know, I've decided you can enter as many as you like, but obviously only one can win for you, so you can't come first second and third, nor do you get a runner up prize for all your entries. But it does give you an increased chance of winning.

I might enter again, an actually add yellow. But I quite like my... Houndenos? So sorry if it the next one is similar.
And I just thought I'd add a bit about it;
Well, first of all, it has wings [similar to Latios'.] which can carry a lot of weight, so The minions are fine with them. In currents in the wind, they don't have to do much to fly. If there are no currents, then they have to use their wings a bit, but it isn't really tiring.
Their tails are really sharp, and the edges are like the blades of a knife, which come in very useful for picking locks, cutting through things, etc.
Their horns are strong enough to ram into things, and they are handy if there's no crowbar available.

I thought it up last night, and I really don't know why.
I think I'm going insane.

XD You've been insane for a long time trust me.

Bare in mind, Zilla wants something dark and scary that won't disobey her in anyway. She wants to be able to inflict fear into anyone, but she doesn't want anyhting big or heavy. Small and light is better, since she has to summon them from the air around her basically. So ghost-like, frightening, smallish and not too mentally strong so she can control them.

Hmm, well I might have another try soon, then. The ones that I used were mostly dark-type, so I'll try more ghosty-type oones, then.

I couldn't decide which sprite to enter. I have two of him so yeah... it was hard to chose.

I can't decide which. And the darker one in the second picture is his shiny form. You can leave that out. Both are pure scratch with pure custom colors. I hope that's okay...

Oh, and I almost forgot. In the first version, that's an aura around Nightasme. It can be seen when he's at his angriest.

I'm just starting to get the hang of this, so I thought I'd try to make another one. It's a Gallade Base, with Gliscor Claws and Salamence wings... It helped me see MS Paint's true Potential.

RocketMeowth, yours looks seiously creepy with all of the bones and stuff! And Zilla will be looking to intimidate, too.

And here is a dark one, not yellow and black mind you but like a deep violet and black Pyrodactyl, a fire Aerodactyl evolution or even a mixture of Charizard and Aerodactyl, I haven't quite decided...

My entry:

I decided that the brand would be a pretty good touch to Zilla's control over them. A black Sneasel edit didn't work out that well so I thought a dark grey would work.

Scizor seemed like a better attempt. It isn't too big, or small, pretty strong, and a seemingly loyal pokemon.

I don't mind, up to you =] Zilla's free at ze moment though she's on the war path so it may be safer to wait. On the other hand, she probably won't be free for a while again so you're better off risking her wrath.
