Character's name: Kayon Species: Totadile Age: 10 Years [Still a kid] Sex: Male Description: He is your average totodile except he has strange markings all over his body. He has red eyes and a myserious glowing green symbol on his head that seems to shine brightly when ever he enters underwater caves. Personality: Kayon is a very serious totodile despite his young age. He isn't layed back like most totodiles and is serious and sometimes, arrogant. He has little battle experience, but practices as much as possible, only ever battling when needed. He is supposedly this quite because of his past, but he prefers not to talk about it, even with the few pokemon that he talks to. History: Kayon was once part of a totodile tribe. His parents, Sheena and Toto, took care of him and his two sisters, Kade and Kaya. The tribe had around forty or so totodiles, and they were a happy group. However, when Kayon was 3 years old, a strange pokemon with a black collar around its neck came to their waterfall. It shot out a powerful attack, sending the water in an uproar. Now, there was also a large group of gyaradose that lived beneath the falls, and they were angered by the attack. Going into a rampage, they destroyed the totodile village. Kayon watched as his tribe was ravaged. In the end, there was only him, his sister Kade, his father Toto, and five other tribe members who had survived. They moved to a different location, by a small pond in the middle of the woods. However. they had only just settled down when the strange shadowy pokemon appeared again. It had the same black collar, and only then did he realize what it was. It was definitely a pikachu, but strangely, its eyes were a dark red with an evil look. It had just looked him straight in the eye, and then disappeared. That was when it happened. There had been a loud cracking noise and then the tree right above his sister, Kade, cracked and fell. She didn't have time to shout. That was when he knew, somehow, it was that pikachu's fault that this was happening. He decided to hunt down the pokemon, and so he set off the next day. It was easy to follow the pokemon's tracks, but they suddenly stopped. As he took a step forward to search better, his foot hit a trip wire and there was a loud explosion. Right as he turned around, he saw the pond area go up in smoke. He had raced back as fast as possible, only to find his family and the rest of his tribe gone. Destroyed in the explosion. He had been tricked. Had fallen straight into the devil's trap. The pikachu had tricked him into killing his own family. Now, he only seeks to become stronger so that one day, he may seek his revenge on that pikachu. [I'm gonna make the pikachu pretty soon.]

[red]Character's name: Faya
Species: Vulpix
Age: 4 Years [Pre-teen]
Sex: Female
Description: Faya is a beautiful vulpix with a more crimson colored fur then scarlet. Her eyes are a brilliant amber that shine like gems under the sun. With short, well groomed fur, she is quite a lady. She has cute brown socks and ears and a charming smile. The long fur that runs over her face often shadows her eyes, expressing her shy nature.
Personality: Faya is very shy and is easily embarassed or scared off. She loves berries and rocks. In fact, she even has a collection of minerals that she carries around in the curls of her head fur. Faya is hard to get to know and doesn't say much about her past. But once you befriend her, she will remain loyal always and will do her best to never let you down.
History: Faya was born in the desert with her sister Aphaia and her mother, Laray. However, there being little food and water in the desert and their mother weak from giving birth, Laray fainted. It was a miracle how the young ones survived, but in the morning, a traveling arcanine found them and took them along, buring their mother's dead body. The arcanine brought Faya and Aphaia to the woods, where it raised them like it's own children. However, one day, when Faya was 9, Aphaia went out searching for berries and didn't come back. Worried about her sister, she set off after her, only to end up surrounded by poochyena. There was a big fight, and in the end, Faya and Aphaia became seperated, Aphaia running deeper into the woods and Faya running towards the river. The poochyena chased her all the way to the banks and, not expecting the sudden expanse of water, she tumbled in. Now, being a fire type, water was a dangerous weakness, and she was swept downstream. When she woke up, she was laying on the sandy shore, the water lapping at her paws. She had managed to drag herself under a bush, and when she had regained her strength, she immediately went off in search of her sister and the arcanine. She searched day and night but to no avail. She hadn't seen how far downstream she'd gone, and they could be miles and miles away. Finally, giving up, she decided that she was old enough to live on her own, and maybe one day she would find them again. Ever since then, she has been traveling around from place to place, wondering about Aphaia.

[navy]Character's Name: Nightshade
Species: Poochyena
Age: Around 16, a.k.a, a teenager Sex: Male
Description: Nightshade is pitch black with silver paws and a dark gray splashed muzzle. He has longer claws then usual and flickering green eyes with a strange torquoise background. A scar runs down his left eye, and his right ear is ragged and torn, giving him a rather intimidating appearance. He is a darker color then most poochyena seeing as he rarely ever goes out during daylight. Three dark claw marks run across the bridge of his muzzle.
Personality: Nightshade is... How would you put it.... Your typical emo pokemon. He hates light, is easily depressed, and seems to wish everyone including himself were dead. Nightshade is always lurking in the shadows and waiting to pounce on his next prey. Though he isn't as strong as other pokemon, rather then use special attacks, he prefers physical fighting. Though there seems to be no light in his heart, there once was.
History: Not much is known about Nightshade, only that he was born into a family of four other pups. He was the middle child and was used to being alone, seeing as his siblings either excluded him or didn't understand how to play. Nightshade took to chasing his own shadow while his siblings hunted and faught, improving their skills and tricks. Nothing else is known about his child-hood. When Nightshade was around the age of 14, he visited a dark mountain and came across a geodude. The geodude had then said later on to other passerbys to beware of a poochyena who saught revenge on those who were faint of heart. No one knows how Nightshade came to be seperated from his family, or why he wishes to take vengance on those who felt fear. All that is known is he has only ever once had a true friend, and that he would never forgive the one who had once been so close to him and then become his mortal enemy.[/navy] [/size]

Character's Name: Hyacinth
Species: Venonat
Age: 23, an adult
Sex: Female
Description: Hyacinth is your normal venonat. She has long dark fur that is soft and sticks out like a pom pom. She has large pink eyes and rather short white antennas for a venonat. Her feet are long and she is slightly plump for her species.
Personality: Hyacinth is very sweet and loves healing pokemon. Ever since she was little she has found a knack for identifying plants and using them to their best cause. She is patient but when in a crisis, she becomes very hasty and often calls upon her assistant Orchid to help her. Hyacinth especially loves giving combee honey to baby pokemon after healing their cuts or colds. She has a very friendly disposition and often talks to her patient's relatives while working. She owns a small little 'shop' by the berry groves. There, she sells herbs and heals pokemon. Her shop is really only a large burrow dug under a rickety tree. She takes great pride in her work and does her best to care for the tree. She is currently training a surskit by the name of Orchid so that one day she will succeed her.
History: Hyacinth was born with a twin brother named Kanko. He was very adventurous and she often looked after him, making sure he stayed out of trouble. One day, he got a splinter in his foot while climbing a tree, chasing after a seedot. Hyacinth had naturally known what herbs to use, seeing as she saw them every day. However, when she treated his foot, she felt a sudden enjoyment and love for healing and dreamed of becoming an herbologist and doctor ever since. When she was old enough to leave her family, she set off to create her own herb station. She found the perfect place by an old tree. After moving into a large burrow, she began to create concoctions and remedies for illnesses or wounds. Gradually, she grew popular among the forest animals and she enjoyed caring for them. One day, when she was out collecting combee honey for a couple of young starly, she stumbled across a crying surskit who floated alone in a puddle, lapping pathetically at the water in an attempt to satisfy its thirst. Naturally she pitied it, and, quickly, with the help of some of the pokemon in the woods, they dug a trench from a nearby lake to form a pool of water next to the burrow. This way she could provide drinking water for herself, a home for the surskit, and water for the tree and other plants. She started a garden and raised the surskit. Eventually she learned that the surskit had gotten lost from her family and was known as Orchid. Orchid promised to repay Hyacinth for saving her life by becoming a great herbologist and helping her out as much as possible. [/size]

[maroon]Character's Name: Orchid
Species: Surskit
Age: 12, still fairly young Sex: Female
Description: Orchid is rather small for her age. Having lost her family and been near starving when Hyacinth found her, she had lost much of her needed nutrience and was never very strong. Her blue skin is slightly pale, similiar to that of a frozen gyaradose. However, her eyes are wide and curious and she has a very charming smile. The point on her head is very sharp and she has long legs that allow her to skim smoothly over water.
Personality: Orchid is rather shy, the complete opposite of her chatty and outgoing mentor. She is always trying hard to please Hyacinth, hoping that one day she will become much like her. Orchid has a very strong sence of smell, which allows her to easily point out different herbs to her teacher. She never tries to show off and has a natural talent for knowing just what Hyacinth expects from her. Orchid, though true to herself, often doubts her own abilities. Not being very strong, she constantly berates herself for the little mistakes she makes. Though Hyacinth always tells her that it's no big deal, she isn't convinced.
History: Orchid was born the only child to her over protective parents. Being without siblings, she was often spoiled and babied. She was never disciplined and got everything she wanted. Yet, she wasn't satisfied. What she truly yearned for was someone who thought of her as an equal, rather then a superior. She only ever wanted a friend who spent time with her for who she was, not because her parents were plentiful with goods and treasures. One day, she set off in search of that friend. However, she was soon lost, and, having never gone off on her own, she had no choice but to search for shelter. When she couldn't find any, she had pouted and cried, expecting someone to come help her. Only then did she remember that she had run away for that exact reason. So instead, she had come across a puddle of water and had decided to wait there for someone, perhaps her future friend, to come by. As if by fate, a venonat soon padded along and took care of her. Though the water pool was nothing like her old bed back at home, it was better then nothing, and she finally had found someone who appreciated her company for who she was. Orchid decided never to speak of her old life again, so as not to change any reactions that Hyacinth might have to her. She was worried that if ever she spoke of previously having it all, the venonat would treat her differently. Hyacinth decided to repay her savior by working hard to succeed her after her passing on or retirement.[/maroon]

[pink]Character's Name: Fadolame [Dole]
Species: Ralts
Age: 13 Years
Sex: Female
Description: Rather small for her species, Fadolame appears to be like any other ralts, though she is a brighter green and has crests on her head that are more orange then red. Her frame is more delicate then most, despite all her training, and her fur color is more cream colored then white. She is often seen scratched and bruised, symbols of her stubborn determination to never let anyone or anything stop her. A simple vine necklace rests around her neck, half of an aguav berry attatched to its end.
Personality: Fadolame is determined and never lets anyone get in her way. She is rather mischievous and likes to do things her way. She often disobeys her body guard Helix, though she does respect him. Even though she was raised as royalty, she despices special treatment and hates being underestimated. She aims to become stronger and to fulfill her promise to an old friend of hers; to save her village and hunt down the pokemon who destroyed her life. Despite being headstrong and never declining a challenge, Fadolame is always very cautious when passing by villages, for she fears her father's subordinates may find her. Fadolame speaks with a more formal accent, though she lacks the usual manners you would expect from a princess. To all whom she meets, she never tells them of her true identity, fearing how they will react after hearing that she ran away from her kingdom.
History: When Fadolame was born the daughter of King Rubin, her small village in the forest rejoiced at the news that the heir to the throne had come. They loved their king, and worshipped their princess even more. Whenever Fadolame walked through the streets, she was reverred by all and was never questioned. Her father, being of royalty, had palace soldiers and gave Fadolame whatever she wanted. However, one day, while crossing through the village, she ran into a young buizel no more then two years older then her. He didn't adress her as royalty, and she was slightly irritated when he challenged her to a battle. The two faught, and even after being beaten badly, she continued to stand up and face him. The buizel admitted that he admired her determination and the two became fast friends. The buizel, Falden, told Dole (as he called her due to his saying her name was too big a mouthful) that he was the son of a farmer who lived in the village, and that one day he would become strong enough to fight with the king's royal guard.
The two became fast friends and never left each other's side. One snowy day, a bronzor was found by the king. It had been abandoned and they took him in. Revealing that his name was Helix, the bronzor grew up in the palace and became much like an older brother to Dole, never leaving her and Falden, though he was quite a few years older then the two.
On Fadolame's 6th birthday, Helix, 14, was appointed her personal guard. Falden had begun training as a soldier, and as the months passed, so did the peaceful reign of King Rubin. Not long after the celebration of the princess's passing of age, a horde of pokemon robbers and villains lay siege to the village, and Fadolame had less and less time to play with her friends who had duties in the military.
Finally, the trio made an agreement that every full moon they would sneak out of the village to spend time together in a clearing far from sight of the invaders or the palace guards. And so, the secret meetings began.
However, one night, after 3 years of long war, the three, (Dole now 9, Falden 10, Helix 17), left the village and met in the clearing; when it began to rain. Falden told Dole that he had something for her, and as he was about to present her with his gift, two of the invading criminals appeared. The stunky and glameow instantly recognized Fadolame as the village princess and saw a fast way to gain a promotion and to conquer the kingdom. Falden and Dole teamed up to fight the two intruders, while Helix went to fetch help from the village.
The battle raged on, the two finding no help in the fact that Dole was weak against dark types like the stunky. For a while, it seemed the battle was in noone's favor. However, a sudden bolt of lightning from the storm struck down a tree that caused Falden to slip backwards in the rain. Taking advantage of this momentary weakness, the glameow struck Dole a blow that left her on the point of fainting. However, Falden picked himself up, and told her to take his gift. Handing her a small green berry, he told her it was the best his father had managed to harvest during the harsh war, and that he would meet her again one day. Dole, not fully understanding what her friend ment, feebly ate half of the fruit. Just then, she felt her energy restored slightly. Her eyes opened just as the buizel delt a fatal blow to the glameow, only to see him knocked to the ground for the last time by the stunky. Standing up dizzily, unable to make out what had happened, including the fact that the berry had confusing side effectes, Dole managed to watch as Helix appeared, followed by several soldiers. The stunky flashed a smokescreen and was gone. In the midst of the wreckage, Dole realized that if she ever wished to help her kingdom, then she couldn't get in the way. Then the understanding dawned on her. Falden would never fight again. Managing to make her way over to him, she was shocked to see him staring at the sky with a thin smile. Barely alive, he told her to promise him not to get in trouble. He asked that she surpass him, beat him when they met again. He said that she should return to the village when she felt the time was right, and that, one day when she was strong enough, they would meet again and reclaim the village, end the war, make the suffering subside. And then her friend died, his life washed away by the rain.
Dole lef the village that day. She was followed by Helix, who had heard Falden's final wishes, and had decided upon accompanying Dole. He even managed to make a vine necklace with the other half of the berry strung on it for her. He said it was his favor to the king for saving his life. He would look after the princess and make sure she returned to her home safely when the time was right. The two haven't seen the village since then. And the village didn't see them either, suspecting with deep sorrow and dread that she had been kidnapped by the stunky or worse.
Years later, to the time now, at the age of 13, with Helix at the age of 21, the bronzor stays faithful to the princess's side, waiting for the day when she is finally ready to return to her village. He knows that she spends so long never letting anyone stop her from traveling because she is in a hurry to meet her old friend who made a promise with her long ago. A promise to fight alongside her when the time came. A promise that she would keep standing up for no matter how many times she was knocked down, no matter how many times she had to hide her identity, no matter how many bitter things she had to taste to confuse herself, no matter how many times she had to slip in the rain. It was a promise she was willing to keep. [/size][/pink]

[green]Character's Name: Helix
Species: Bronzor
Age: 21 Years
Sex: Male
Description: Much like any other bronzor, Helix is a dark turquoise with a lighter teal encircling his two amber eyes. Helix, having once been a soldier, is thicker then most bronzor and has multiple nicks and scratches along his frame from past battles. Helix has an awkward smile, in which both corners of his mouth turn out uneven, due to the fact that he is never sure when is the right time to be celebrating.
Personality: The complete opposite of Dole but her companion nonetheless, Helix is much more mature and has a serious expression most of the time. He is very strict about keeping the princess safe and despite the many foolish decisions the chingling may make, he is always there to back her up. Sworn as her personal guard, he cares for her much like a father. Helix is a stronger fighter then Dole, therefore he constantly worries about her welfare. Though Helix appears to be fearless, he has a horrible fear of storms. Though Dole constantly teases him about it, he laughs along, though deep inside he is not willing to explain to her why it is he quakes at the sight of gray clouds.
History: Born in the mountains, Helix lived with his clan in peace, he and his kin thriving in the deep caves. Helix grew up there, however, eventually, the mountain began to grow crowded, and so his family and some others decided to migrate to another cave nearby, on another mountain several miles away. At the age of 12, he and some of the other bronzor set off down the mountain.
Along the way though, a storm brewed, and a landslide started. Luckily, the other bronzor managed to find safety. However, a tree was struck down, trapping Helix between mud and leaf. The land slide built up that eventually it broke past the tree and flowed through the forest. Finally coming to a stop, it left Helix unconscious and far from home. Finally waking up, he found himself in a palace of leaves and branches. He was then informed by a chingling bearing a crown, that he had been found alone in the woods.
Helix owed his life to the king, and he was allowed to stay in the village until making a full recovery. During this time, he was introduced to Princess Fadolame and her friend Falden. The three became close companions and when Helix finalyl got better, he confessed to the king that his family had probably moved on already. Helix told the king that he saw no reason for him to return to the mountains anymore, and requested to become a palace guard. The king obliged and gave the bronzor the honor of being Fadolame's personal protector.
Years passed. A war ensued. One night, while the three were out playing in the woods, they were attacked by two enemy soldiers. While Falden and Dole fought, Helix rushed back to the village to fetch reinforcements. A storm raged as he did so, and he was reminded of the terrible night in which he lost his family. When Helix finally got back to his friends, he saw that he was too late. Torn by the thought that he had lost everything to a storm; his family, his home, his friend. When Helix heard Dole talking to Falden who was on the brink of death, he knew then that the only thing he had left was to guard his savior's daughter. Dole ran off, and Helix followed her.
Ever since then, the bronzor has stayed faithfully at her side, determined to protect her and keep her out of harm's way until she is convinced that she is strong enough to return to the village. Helix often wonders where his family is, and whether he will ever see them again. His one wish is to bring the Princess back to her kingdom safe and sound so that she might finally be at peace.
