As Ai and her group walked into the rainforest, it started raining. Of course. This did not help Ai's mood much, being a fire-type in a bad mood. She was good that the devil wasn't with them anymore. "Stupid rain..." she grumbled. "What did you expect? We live in a RAIN-forest," Shadow told her. He was fine-he was used to it-and it didn't bother him a bit to splash around in the puddles. "You'll get all muddy," Ai scolded, but already knew that that was the young one's plan all along.

"I certainly like it too!"Jamie said as he started splashing around with Shadow. James however stayed by her and used his tails to cover her head from the rain.

There was a soft noise coming from the bushes when the pup was as muddy as he could possibly get. He stopped suddenly, staring at the bushes, but Ai simply sat down in a somewhat dry spot. She knew who it was. "Takara...that's enough. Don't scare the guests," she called out. A leafeon walked out of the bushes into the rain. "You're here...I see you found him," she greeted in a small, weak voice. "Shadow!" another voice shouted as Dawn leaped out and tackled her brother, regardless of the mud. "You idiot! Don't you ever wander off again, you hear? You trying to give mom a heart attack?! And poor Ai spent a lot of time looking for you, and so did Jamie and..." she rambled on, but no one really paid attention after that.
"How's Dormin?" Ai asked Takara. "He's fine. Just a little skittish, that's all," the leafeon replied. She glanced at James. "Dawn didn't mention that one," she said. Ai looked at the male ninetails. "Oh, this is James. He saved Shadow," Ai mumbled, looking away as her heart spead up. Takara was up and looking him over. "It's very nice to meet you..." she told him, smiling after she has approved.

"Good to see that everyone is together like they should be..." Jamie said as he watched. James however didn't care about that, he was just staring at Ai.

"Well, I guess we can hang out and rest, and then head out in the morning," Ai suggested. "What do you guys think?" she asked, looking at the two.

"You are welcome in our home," Takara told them, smiling slightly. She turned and walked towards the bush, Dawn and Shadow skipping in before her. Ai waited for the boys to go first.

Jamie slithered past ai pretty quickly, to allow some 'alone time' with James. James was trying to follow up beside Jamie but Jamie kept holding him back so he was forced, in a way, to walk with Ai. James' face still turned red as he walked nexted to her, not even knowing why he was blushing.

"Are you okay with tunnels?" Ai asked. "There's one leading to an under-ground area where they live...but if your not, I'll take you to another way to get down there," she then explained. She, of course, didn't look at him when she said it. She didn't want that feeling to come back, simply because she didn't know what it was. She'd ask Takara later; she had more experiences in this department.

"Yeah...I love using fire moves in the dark to light my way..." he said slightly excited. He felt so weird everytime he looked at her, like as if butterflies were sworming in his stomache and trying to find a way out. "You know you guys should take the long way...I'm sure I'm going to take up the whole tunnel being too fat and all!" Jamie said with a laugh. He was really trying to help James, really trying but he wasn't making it easy to help.

Mustapha wakes up on the ground being covered by rain. " Oh great" He mumbled sarcastically. He then walked over to the group of pokemon which were near them. "Hello" he says as he approaches them with caution.

Ai looked over at the newcomer, and instinctivly stood in front of the bush. One could never be too cautious; there were younglings down there, after all. "Hello," she replied calmly.

Ai moved closer to the new-comer, amazed that it would get so close. But how effective would fire-attacks go against a desert-dwelling pokemon. And what was it doing in the rain-forest? Then again, he was probably wondering the same thing about her.
"We're just passing through," Ai answered quickly.

Ai looked the stranger over, contimplating on wether or not she she trust it. What a strange way he held his claw out...what did that mean? Regardless, she saw it as a sign of peace and lifted up one of her paws, making it touch his out-stretched claw.
