The Ancient Secret Base of Ceci and Mumble

[Skye]

"C'mon Mumble! This is cool!" Ceci wandered deeper into the Great Boneyard. The Piplup pecked at something beside her feet, stopped, and moved on. She wasn't sure if Mumble, the other Piplup was following but at the moment, Ceci was too... intoxicated by the Booneyard and all its splendor- if your idea of splendor is a desolate feild of dusty white bones.

The Piplup climbed through an eyehole of a particularly large skull and wandered around. "Mumble! Take a look at this!" Ceci poked her head through the eyehole in which she just entered. "We could make this our secret base or something!" And with that, she plopped the pile of mud she was holding onto the floor- or the bottom of the skull. First, Ceci took a handfull and made a mark on the outside. Then, she began to cover the bottom with a layer of mud.

"Come on Mumble! Help me cover this floor!"

"Hm, I don't know, this place looks scary..." Mumble whined as he looked all around him nervously. He stared at the pile of bones uneasily. This place reeked of death. "But, I guess it can't hurt..."

The Piplup picked up a clod of mud and placed it on the pile of bones, then patted it down to make it smooth. "This just seems like the kind of place that bad Pokemon would be, you know?" he asked as he continued working on the "secret base."

[Skye]

"Come on Mumble! Don't be such a scaredy cat!" Ceci continued lining the skull with mud. The Piplup laughed when she heard the last thing Mumble said. "That's exactly the point Mumbledy Bumble! If nobody comes here, it'll be secret!" Ceci stamped her foot on the mud to pack it tighter. "This skull is round so we'll made it all level with the mud! When it dries, we can cover it with leaves or something to made it soft!"

Ceci tossed her head back proudly. She fancied this was the best idea ever but in order to make it work, Mumble couldn't be afrain of the Boneyard. Nothing was alive here anyways.

[lonewolf]

"Alright, then," Mumble said softly as he continued working. Mound after mound of mud was put on the skull. It was actually starting to look like something now, more than just a dirty bone.

"Hey, did you hear that?" Mumble whispered as his eyes darted around the boneyard. "Heh, it was probably nothing."

[Skye]

Ceci shook her head. "You're just imagining stuff like that Mumble! I didn't hear anythi..." Just then, another sound was heard. It sounded like a cracking bone. "...Er, anyways, that was just a bone falling onto another one. There are mountains of bones here, it isn't a wonder if they fall."

Ceci patted down the last bit of mud. "Alright, let's go get some leaves Mumb!" Then, a shadow started moving towards them. Ceci froze.

(Let's make it an NPC that we can both roleplay for the "shadow")

Mumble let out a squeak and jumped at the sight of the shadow. "Ceci...am I imagining that, too?" Covering his eyes with his flippers, Mumble was shaking and almost having a heart attack. He slowly moved his right flipper to peer out of his eye, but he could no longer see the shadow. "I must be losing it. I'm never eating those berries again..."

The Piplup turned to work on the secret base again when he heard the same sound. Again, the shadow made an appearance. "Okay, what is it, Ceci? I can't be just seeing things!"

[Skye]

"Um... M-Mumble?" The Piplup's voice was shaking. 'M-Mumble, st-top that. Y-you're just sore since I c-called you a 'fraidy cat! I-I'm sorry okay? Stop that Mumble!" Deep inside, Ceci knew Mumble wasn't doing anything.

She started crying. Ceci's skin felt firey and she was sure her ice blue body had turned fiery red. She didn't know what to do and the Piplup was really embarrassed. It's seemed too easy to look down unapprovingly at Mumble's fears but quite something different to be feeling that fear too.

I don't want to die!

"Look! It's a ghost!" Mumbled screamed. He was violently convulsing now, he was never this scared in his life. "I told you we shouldn't have come here, I told you, I told you!" The shadow made itself more visible, a very sinister looking ghastly, the gas pokemon.

It didn't seem to be doing anything, it was just staring at the two Piplups with malice. It eerily floated around them, going in a circuit. Mumble noticed how scared Ceci was. What are we going to do? I can't just do nothing...That's it!

"Ceci, I know your scared, but we have to be brave!" Working up some courage, Mumble sent a stream of bubbles at the ghastly. When they hit, the ghost showed little sign of discomfort, he shook and squinted from the weak water attack.
