Searching for Graves

[Sephalesh]

The ground exploded in a fountain of rock and dirt, as a powerful Steelix broke through the surface. He flew into the air, like a dolphin out of the water, searching for any threat that could imped their mission. His wise eyes showed him what he already expected. Nothing, but surface world plants. No living life had appeared yet. "All CLEAR" The giant metal snake pokemon bellowed as he dissapeared into another fountain of rock and dirt.

Out of the hole, two gravelers jumped onto either side of the new hole in the berry grove. There eyes were full of murderous intent, and their bodies full of wonder. It was so light here, and there was green stuff everywhere. They knew it was grass, but still, they had never seen it before. This was usually the outboards team to deal with the matters of surface dwellers. "All clear on mya End." One of the graveler's said, his voice being followed by several rock/ ground pokemon, mostly geodudes. The other Graveler searched the trees for threats, and. . . "4'O'Clock! Threat Threat Threat!" He yelled. The rock pokemon rolled up into a ball and preceded to attack a large red threat in the tree. He hit a berry, and not just any berry, the hardest berry in the world. He fell back to the ground in a daze, and was then bonked on the head by the berry. He was knocked out cold.

Another pokemon emerged from the hole. It was a larvitar This one had an air of confidence, and contrary to the other pokemon who were staring at the downed graveler in fear, she just shook her head and crossed her arms. "BASH!!! Get Up! We don't have time to play with food!" She said as she calmly walked over to him, with an escort of several dugtrio. She grabbed the ball of rock lifting it into the air and shaking it. Bash woke up with a start. "GHOSTS!!!" The graveler yelled. It started the rest of the larvitar's troop to go into a panic, yelling random things like, "Ghosts!" "Monsters!" "Psychics!" The larvitar couldn't help, but bring a hand to her head to rub her aching temple. It had only been three minutes, and already everybody was out of control.

The larvitar stuck out her right hand and caught Bash in it. Her other hand shot out to grab the other Graveler, Smash. "Smash! Bash! SHUT UUUP!" She yelled as her hands came together, bashing and smashing the two gravelers together like a huge set of symbols. The panicing pokemon slowed down and stopped around Mira, the Larvitar, their leader. Well, all except for the two gravelers, who were clutching themselves to stop each other from ringing. Mira sighed. "Everybody! We came here to find someone, and I don't want to scare them away by turning the soft Surface world into mush!" She bellowed, loud enough fro everybody to hear. All around them, was mud and stomped grass. They had caused it when they had been panicking.

[Omega]

A caterpie had been eating a berry not far from where the ground exploded at the time. He squirmed over to where the rock pokemon emerged in a fit of rage, "WHAT THE HECK DO YOU GUYS THINK YOU'RE DOING!?"

[Sephalesh]

All the rock pokemon heard the little Caterpie and rushed over, forming a menacing circle around it. Well, all except Mira who was maintaining her grace by walking. Of course, the Gravelers were the closest two to the Caterpie, and looked at it strangely. "Hey, Bash, What do you think it is?" Smash asked the other identical Graveler. The other Graveler closed his eyes, and nodded his head as he said. "I know exactly what it is." Everybody awaited the answer expectantly. First a minute passed by, and then another. Smash, who was getting impatient said, "well, What is IT, Bash!?" The other graveler nodded his head wisely, "Of course. . . Well, It's. . . It's obviously. . .It's obviously a Talking Turd." Smash nodded his head and hit his hand together as if it was obvious. "Of course! Why didn't I see it before. It's a mutated turd! Wow! You can find all sorts of disgusting stuff up here on the surface world, can't cha." Smash said.

All of the other rock pokemon were agreeing with hos smart Bash was. They all started murmering about what they should name it. "Maybe Turdy?" "No!" "how about Talkurd." "That sucks!" "Let us just call it Caterpee!" They all whispered to each other. The larvitar finally made her way to the center of the ring, face to face with what everyone was calling a talking turd. "YOU IDIOTS!!! IT"S A POKEMON!! NOT A TALKING TURD!" She bellowed to everybody.

[Omega]

"You guys are a bunch of morons," said the caterpie, "Now, answer the question. What are you doing?"

[Sephalesh]

The gravelers perked up at the tone of voice. "HOW DARE YOU" Bash yelled. Smash, who didn't want to be outdone by his brother yells, "Your in the illustrious presence of Mira Tyrant, Overlord and queen!" He said, and all the pokemon bowed to The Larvitar.

Mira, on the other hand, gave the two gravelers a good clout on the head, each. "This in not the time to teach some disrespectful mongrel how to properly behave! We have a mission." Mira told the rock pokemon. The other pokemon put their heads down in shame. Mira turned back to the Caterpie, crossing her arms, and saying, "We're searching for a missing Gible." The larvitar eyed the Two Gravelers hotly. "A gible who is living, and not plainly dead! Have you seen her?" Mira asked.

[Omega]

"I haven't seen any gible," replied the caterpie.

[Skye]

Twilla, the Feebas, also happily munching on a berry heard shouting nearby. All she could see was a gang of ground and rock pokemon surrounding a caterpie. Determined to do good, Twilla launched herself as far as she coulnd and began to flop. It was obvious, she shouldn't be out of the water. She was clumsy and successfully stumbled and fell again. "D-Don't" She panted and couldn't finish her sentence. Twilla gasped with exaustion.

She was a fool. It was quite obvious the gang, evil as they looked, was simply asked the Caterpie a few questions. The Feebas reddened and tried to flop away noiselessly. It would have been an incredible feat acomplished for any Feebas- which was the reason Twilla couldn't do it and landed with a PLONK! Even closer to the Pokemon than before. Typical.

[Sephalesh]

The graveler, Bash, shook his head and crossed his arms. "Of course you haven't pokemon." Smash, the other graveler shispered to his brother. "I liked him better when he was a talking turd." They both nodded their heads together.

Then they noticed the flopping Feebas. A monster? A ghost? It didn't look really dangerous. In fact it looked more ugly than anything else. The gravelers and all the other rock pokemon formed their circle around the Feebas. This time they knew it was a pokemon of some sort. They wouldn't be foole twice. "What are those things on it's side?" "I dunno? Wings?" "they seem kinda Scrawny to be wings." The gravelers tried to figure out what it was. They had rarely seen water or more importantly the things that lived in water, so they had to rely on what they had heard of the surface world, and birds seemed the most likely fit to them. The sky had actually been a surprise too, but they figured it must have been a very high, multi colored ceiling.

Mira on the other hand, as always, shoved her way through the crowd and threw The feebas into a nearby puddle of water deep enough for the fish pokemon to swim in. It might have seemed absurd, but Mira had been much more traveled despite her age.

Twilla flopped helplessly as she watched the Larvitar pick her up and toss her into the puddle of water. She landed with a gigantic splash. Moaning, Twilla tried rubbing her sides with her ragged fins but they were too short to reach much area. She swam in a small circle, which took a large ammount of time, considering how slow Feebas in general were. Twilla was, in fact, one of the faster ones.

The Feebas then glared at one of the gravellers, Bash, and only seemed to look more helpless. "MyfinsareNOT SCRAWNY! And..." Her shouting became slurred and she Twilla couldn't even understand what she was saying herself.

[Omega]

"You guys really are stupid," commented the caterpie, "Those are fins, not wings. She's a feebas, a fish pokemon."

[Skye]

Twilla stopped babbling and listened to what the Caterpie had to say. "...Those are fins, not wings. She's a feebas, a fish pokemon." What kind of pokemon were they to not know that? She had seen Gravellers before but none of them had been as clueless as Bash and Smash.

Flopping herself out of the water, Twilla wriggled to a berry bush and there, she quietly began to chew an juicy oran berry. The Feebas tried her best to hide away, not wanting any more trouble with these scary-looking Pokemon but parts of her still showed. After finishing her oran, Twilla started on another berry. A chesto this time.

She thought of what one of the Gravellers had said. They said her fins were scrawny. Scrawny! The Feebas knew it was true. Twilla heaved a sigh and ate the rest of her Chesto berry.

(For some reason, I don't know what, but I can't modify my last post. Anyways, this'll be short. Twilla will be leaving this thread.)

The Feebas finished up her Chesto berry and licked her lips. She didn't want to further be with these frightening Pokemon so she turned to leave.

Twilla left, flopping awkwardly all along the way. No one noticed her and that did the Feebas just fine.

"Just fine."

[Sephalesh]

Mira shook her head. "Everybody!!! Begin the search!" SHe yelled over the crowd of rock pokemon. They all saluted, and began scouring over the land. they occasionally found strange things on the ground like bushes and iGaspi fruits. This was their first time out of the underground domain which was their home. They were new to everything around them. Not all of them, but most of them had only heard stories from the Rhy-Corps. They continued searching for hours, spreading out farther and farther.
