Jean, a small dark-blue Cyndaquil, trotted along a rocky path up the mountain. Her small legs made the journey hard, but she was determined to get up to the caves. She'd seen them from a distance, and had set about finding a way up that high to find a place to live; if only for a while. She realized not many Pokemon would be up here, but that didn't bother her too much. She'd find friends somehow.
Finally, she was getting somewhere. The bad thing was that the path now ended. It would be harder to get the rest of the way up, especially with her tiny limbs. She reached her short arms up, and pulled her body up the rocky wall, finding feetholes surprisingly easily. It took a while, but she was getting up to those caves!
After a while, she shoved her small, exhausted body over the edge, and lay for a while, her flanks heaving rapidly as she fought to catch her breath. Once she had done so, she scampered along the edge of the cliff-side, looking into caves to find an empty one.

A blue Beldum zoomed from a crushed door deep in the caves. It passed through tunnels and the larger cavern spaces in a heartbeat. With a small explosion, the Beldum smashed it's way to the outside, onto a small cliff side. The hole behind it opened up into a spacious cavern, completely devoid of life. If the beldum saw the Cyndaquil, it didn't show it.
Instead the blue metal pokemon looked around, searching for something that it couldn't seem to find. "Where is it. My lost bit. I can't beleive, I lost it in that heave." The beldum sang musically.

Jean turned her head when she heard the explosion. Seeing the Beldum, she smiled slightly. Great, another Pokemon! She scurried towards him, her fire flaring in surprise as she almost slipped. She noticed the cavern, and realized it'd be a good place to stay...Ah, but she had to help the Beldum out first, of course.
"Hello. I'm Jean, and... Could you use some help?" She asked, a kind expression on her face.

The beldum zoomed around her, floating in the air. It's red eye was frantic, searching for something it could not find. It ignored the Cyndaquil again, or perhaps it was too frantic looking for whatever it had dropped. "Is it on the ground?! It has to be around. I need to find that jar. If I don't then . . . I will just have to use tar." The pokemon sang in it's musical voice.

Jean tilted her head to the side, then nodded. She scanned the ground quickly, her eyes sharp. Suddenly, she saw something that was definately out of place.
"Is that it?" She asked, pointing.

(Sorry about the wait. Had to make dinner.)
The beldum saw what Jean was pointing at. In a second the Beldum was trying to pick up a small vial of black liquid, but it was hard because he didn't really have any hands. "Help me pick this up. It isn't as easy as a tea cup." He sang in his musical tone.

Jean gave the Beldum a blank look for a moment, then shrugged her shoulders. She might as well help him. She scampered over to the vial, and picked it up carefully.
"Woah, what is this?" She asked, and she moved closer to the Beldum.

The beldum stopped moving when Jean had picked up the vile. "It's my oil. It comes from the soil. Give it to me, so I can be free!" He tried to grab the vial with his one claw. It didn't work too well.

Jean nodded, helping him get the vile into his claw. She smiled, feeling slightly awkward.
"So, what's your name?" She asked, wanting to make friends.

The beldum grabbed it gratefully, then started zooming around Jean faster and faster, like a blue whirlwind. "I smash, I destroy, I bash, I Row down the stash. Around the Lash and through the tunnels. Call me Crash!" The beldum replied musically as it sped around faster and faster.
