Plot/Intro:
Welcome to Egypt-[/blockquote]
Long ago, or as the legends say, humans use to be the dominant species. They had many cities at many different spots on the earth. One of these spots was in Egypt. A British wolf conservationist by the name of Camellia Layne took four of each wolf species (Mexican gray wolf, gray wolf, red wolf, arctic wolf, American timber wolf, northern rocky mountain wolf, and the manned wolf) and started a wolf park in Egypt to see if these breeds of wolves could survive so they could expand the habitat of the wolf. She however was not the only one doing conservation work, biologist were working to create many types of plants to survive the harsh climate of Egypt. They of course, had accomplished their goal.
The progress of the wolf diet started out slowly considering they would only hunt the antelope due to their similarity to the common deer of America. Camellia began to introduce smaller prey like animals to the wolves such as cape hyrax, a fairly small, thickset, herbivorous mammal about the size of a domestic cat and various rodents. Now that Camellia had gotten to introduce the smaller prey that the wolves had taken a liking to when it came to hunting she began to introduce larger prey, such as the Nubian Ibex, Hartebeest, and Gazelles. All of which were deer like species that the wolves had no troubles hunting when in their packs.
Now that the prey was no longer an issue and they were getting the hang of hunting the wildlife of this area Camellia began to observe how the wolves reacted to the hot sands and climate of Egypt. The wolves that seemed to do best were the manned wolf and the one that seemed to have the most trouble was the arctic due to their bodies being built for the cold. The other breeds of wolves didn’t seem to have a problem with this new change. As time progressed however, the arctic wolf began to adapt to its new surroundings as did the rest of the wolves.
It was breeding season and to prevent crossed breeding between the wolves she took the four of each breed and put them in different parts of the park. This worked and as time went on more of the breeds began to come out and before Camellia had realized it she could have made 5 packs with each containing 8 wolves.
Camellia had gotten to introduce the prey but now it was time to show them the predators. She would take only one pack out each day and show them what they would be up against in the wild. There were only a few casualties but nothing so major that it would cause her plan to fail. Everything was going well until the World War of 2981. Things had changed drastically, even the names of great places such as Egypt had been changed to Del Rey. This was due to the war where the humans had finally destroyed one another, not a single one had survived and all that was left was the wildlife and the plants.
Being locked in the park for most of their lives the wolves began to starve due to Camellia being the one to take them out hunting. Before long some died out and only 2 of her packs remained out of the 5. Since they had considered Camellia their alpha they had to build their own hierarchy and before long, both packs were running semi smoothly except they still could not find a way out.
Wolves Night v.1 The Escape-
After months of investigating the fences of the wolf park the two packs finally found a flaw and escaped into the land of Del Rey, formally known as Egypt. Since they were so use to the lands of the wolf park they did not stray too far from it. They did not claim the northern part of Del Rey yet so the barren’s of the desert were not known to these wolves. They began to repopulate their lost numbers from when they were locked in the park with no food and their numbers increased greatly, enough so that they could now create 4 packs with 10 wolves in each. There was one pack however, that they had to keep their eyes on. The Shadow Pack.
The Shadow Pack was full of rude, merciless, killing wolves that would do nothing for their neighboring packs, they only worried about themselves. They swore that they were the rightful owners of Del Rey due to the leader of their pack discovering the way out of the wolf park but the other packs wanted to unite and work as one to better their chances for survival. This of course never happened, the packs were starting to actually die out due to the increase of predators and they were down to three packs.
Two of the packs started to work against the Shadow Pack to help destroy it due to their lack of concern for their own survival. After the fall of the Shadow Pack the lands began to become distraught. The murderous intentions that were held back by the leader Damon had been released when he had been killed by Fang, the leader of the Tundra pack. Everyone thought that things would be fine once Damon was out of the picture but they were oh so wrong. The killers that he had kept in his pack had no where to go, taking their revenge for their leader out on everyone, even if they were not involved. To keep their lives few wolves were able to escape. No one knows what happened to the rest of the wolves, they were presumed as dead but are they really?
Wolves Night v.2 The Awakening-
After coming to these new lands everything seemed to be going well though in the upper parts of Del Rey the lands were treacherous and more dangerous than in the lower part so after the wolves that had chased these survivors away from their home were dead they traveled back down to the lower parts of Del Rey. On their traveling and following of the ocean they noticed an island that you could travel to on foot due to a land bridge. Curiosity infested their minds though no one dared to go, more like they were commanded not to go by their leaders. Two very curious wolves, however, disobeyed orders.
Amon Iah and his sister Razia Shemei traveled to this island where they found an old tomb made of stone back from where the humans had once controlled the earth. They were pulled into this place that was to be called the Hall of Kings by some unknown force that they could not resist. Far inside in a small room a light shone down onto a column like table to reveal to them a stone. It was of medium size and was tinged black with moving neon purple swirls inside. Once again their curiosity got the best of them and they both touched the stone at the same time. A great wind blew, knocking them back from the stone and caused them to pass out.
When they awoke their bodies had changed. Amon’s dirty white pelt had been cleaned to the purest of white and his body now showed odd black markings, his lip was pierced, and he had bracelets and a necklace on him. His eyes had also changed from amber to pure black, even the whites of his eyes were this color. Razia’s black pelt had been darkened and her body had similar markings to his but hers were white, along with the color of her eyes. Her ears were pierced and her ankles had bracelets. Unsure and scared the two wolves tried to leave but were knocked back from a force field. Unable to leave, they slept.
That night they dreamed of how the stone had gotten there and that they had been chosen to protect it from the greedy paws of other animals that would want to use it for their own gain. They had seen the powers that they now held which were the ability to see into the future and the past, the four elements, and each had their own ability. Amon could use his bones as weapons and Razia could sing a song that would lure out ones deepest hidden desires. This is how they were to protect the stone.
When the two wolves had touched the stone it had sent out a wave that touched every wolf creature but just the ones in Del Rey. Now these wolves also had powers though not as great as the two guardians. This wave had also resurrected the dead wolves from the past, including the killers of the Shadow pack. These wolves needed to suck the magic out of the living wolves in order to survive. They were known as Demon wolves. The alpha’s of the two packs began to fight because Amon and Razia had come from the Shadow Stalkers which caused them to be banished to Upper Del Rey where the desert would be their punishment and the leader had to take his pack. The Deviled Dwelling pack was to kill any Shadow Stalker that dared to intrude in Lower Del Rey on sight. Even though neither of the two packs truly owned the upper or lower parts of Del Rey they acted as so.
Now that the two packs are fighting and the demon wolves are sucking the magic out of the living the Guardians have to come down into the two packs every now and then and give them protection. The job of the Guardians is to protect the magic and the stone from these Demon wolves. With this new threat and with the wolves magic progressing with time and a trip to the stone the Guardians will have to step up their game but will the other wolves be willing to help kill this new enemy?
