This question is most towards Wynn I suppose since she mentioned it in rainy's thread..
I understand this is a no word limit sort of discussion board and that everyone should be free to post where they wish to, but how is it you can have private threads for only certain members but you can't promote having a thread for only members who can meet a word minimum?
There is nothing snobbish about word minimums as I've seen you mention -- it's just exactly what it is, a minimum. When a member posts over 250 words, and someone shows up to post a measly 50 words, that's a bit of an insult, in my honest opinion. Plenty of boards I've been on had minimums and still a thriving community; the only reason I ever left was because they grew too big or I outgrew the plot line as an interest. It's unfair for people to spend all their time on their work but someone who has very little patience whatsoever can just respond with two sentences of dialogue before calling it quits. You can't base a response of over XXX words on something that has practically no detail to speak of for the poster to utilize.
Not to mention regardless of what you may say on it being against the rules, I think if rainy simple says the thread is for select people she PMs; then the thread is technically in the clear again.
I'm not trying to be rude with this question -- it's just something that is bugging me immensely upon seeing it because I've noticed a trend lately. When someone asks a question or gets reprimanded for an offense that was nowhere to really be found in your listing of vague rules, someone comes along and corrects them when (in all honesty) it should have been something we could reference or learn of before or upon joining.

I believe this topic is in dire need of a reply. Take no offense.
-I do agree that it's silly to not allow restrictions on word limit, but giving the topics that are private the go ahead. Essentially they are the same, and if anything the word limited thread is more open to roleplayers than private topics. 250 words isn't that hard. If you don't want to post that much, nobody is forcing you to join in but the option is atleast still open.

Her muse is not working as well. And I agree with Punk. I mean I love to RP but youhardly see me make a post over 300 characters. But you are not forced to wright over 250+ post. Well not by Wynn's standereds.
