In 2123, almost all life on earth was wiped out by a nuclear explosion in Northwest Asia. The explosion was an accident, not a product of war, but that made it no less devastating. Only a few hundred people remained. They banded together, as survivors often do. They built a city, and then a wall. The wall was not to keep them in, but to keep everything else out. The radiation from the explosion mutated many of the animals and plant species people had once lived off. Common animals became unrecognizable. Plants that were once considered healthy, and good, were now thought of as poisonous, though no one dared to try them.
The people hidden behind the wall were thrust back in time. Much of the technology that had once been commonplace became non-existent. No one remembered how they had been built, and so they let the memories of them slip away. People began to live a much simpler life. They were led by the High Council; the town's only source of government. Everything is decided by them, they have control over peoples lives more than the people have themselves. They, of course, did not realize this, and were happy. For a while.
Ever since the first 4 decades- the early years- much has changed, and much has remained the same. Civilization had been rebuilt, though it is still simple. The city has grown, substantially. And the wall grew right along with it. Of course, the citizens still fear the other side. The Council has made sure of this. Occasionally, small groups of warriors will venture across the wall to gather supplies, but many have gone missing, and many have been found dead. Others are just presumed dead. The deaths are greatly exaggerated, a well known fact that is still ignored. If someone doesn’t return on time, they are dead. That’s all there is to it.
The Council had been making up laws to “protect the people” and keep them under control. People just believe what the Council members are telling them with trying to dig any deeper. No one would question their ruling. Since the early years they have tightened their control. Children are taught now more than ever not to cross the wall, but kids are still kids, and they still do.
None have been seen since.

There are friendly staff, plenty of open canons, a totaly original plot, and it is a safe board for younger teenagers. {As in, no sex/drugs/etc.})
