I would really like some other players to RP with. The Lord is seeking grunts, trusted advisers, and slaves. If you want to play, post a character by all means ^^
Character's Name: Lord Pepsi
Species: Stantler
Age{in actual years or in general life phases}:About 3 years old
Sex:Male
Description: He is taller than most stantler - an impressive five feet tall from ears to hooves (as compared to others, who stand about four and a half feet tall). The fur on his muzzle, stomach, and just above his hooves is a pale cream color, and his antlers are taller and more twisted than average, giving him a majestic and regal air that especially intimidate fellow members of his species. Broad and brawny, he is less slim and graceful than most stantler, but his bulk serves to further strike fear in the hearts of others.
Personality: Lord Pepsi is curious the the point of obsession. He is also cruel, vindictive, cold hearted and unwilling to ever take pity on others. Pokemon smaller and weaker than him will often be bullied and intimidated into becoming slaves to help with his excavation efforts, but despite his vast bulk and even vaster cruelty, he is slightly cowardly, preferring to bully small pokemon than to face off with someone his own size in a fair fight. Indeed, he has fought in so few fair fights relying on his own power that he remains the game equivalent of a Level 5 pokemon, even as a three year old in the peak of health. Controlling and domineering, Lord Pepsi always has to have his own way, and will severely punish anyone who tries to cross him (unless they're just as big and strong as he is, or even bigger and stronger, of course - or at least, he won't punish them by fair means).
History: As a young fawn, Lord Pepsi was known as Scatterhoof, and lived in a patch of forest near the Crumbled Ruins where humans had once roamed. Although warned by his skittish mother, who feared everything that she did not understand, to never, ever, ever go near the Crumbled Ruins, as soon as he was old enough to be left alone, he gave in to his curiosity and wandered over to the city he had been drawn to for so long. Kicking at the ruins, he unearthed an old soda can - his first human artifact - and used his minimal psychic powers (stantler do learn a lot of psychic moves for a normal type!) to try and figure out what it was and what it was used for. His powers are not that strong, however, and he sees only one word associated with the strange human object - "Pepsi." As he wanders further and sees the same strange word (he can't read, of course, but like illiterate humans, he learned to recognize the characters P E P S I as meaning something that has to do with his precious soda can) on billboards, old restaurant signs, glasses, eating trays and all other sorts of broken and decaying human ephemera, he comes to believe that the word must hold great power and must have been something almost godlike to the vanished humans. Taking the strange word as his new name, and believing the finding of the can was a sign that he was destined for greatness, he became consumed with power and his desire to live up to what he believes his new name means. Imagining himself as a human and Lord of the Crumbled Ruins, he starts attacking and enslaving the small, weak forest pokemon that live nearby, forcing them to dig through the ruins and bring him human artifacts, hoping to find anything that would make him almost like the god he imagines "Pepsi" must be. Not long after, a strange music box - its mechanisms intact and un-rusted - is dug up by one of his slaves, and when the key is turned, a strange, unearthly (for the pokemon, at least!) tune starts playing - a song once known to humans as the PokéMarch. Finding that the strange music attracts and subdues the pokemon around him, he has it played whenever he feels his slaves are stepping out of line. Large pokemon start to truly fear the power of his music box, and some, desiring his power, start coming to him with the hopes of becoming his right hand men...
Character's Name: General Cragclaw
Species: Skarmory
Age{in actual years or in general life phases}:About 3 years old
Sex:Male
Description: Although the same size and strength as the average skarmory, General Cragclaw has an especially fearful appearance. His steel feathers, rather than being the brilliant silver that is normal for his species, are stained and tarnished to a deep black, making him look frightening in the daytime, and especially so at night when only his blazing red eyes can be seen. His terrifying claws for which he is named are thick and powerful, despite the tarnish and rust along their surface - indeed, the rust serves to make it look like his claws are always bloodied, making even strong pokemon wary of even attempting to tangle with him (although, like Lord Pepsi, he is not high-leveled in game terms - he tends to rely on his appearance to do his fighting for him, and fights dirty when he IS challenged). His voice is deep and intense, and he never misses an opportunity to jam his sharp, cruel beak into the flesh of the slaves.
Personality: General Crawclaw is much like Lord Pepsi - vicious, merciless, and a bully. He gets sadistic glee out of torturing smaller pokemon, scarring and maiming disobedient slaves with his beak and claws and using the subduing power of the music box only as a last resort. Unlike Pepsi, Cragclaw has little interest in humans or human objects, and works as Lord Pepsi's second in command only as a means to build his own power. He is not especially loyal to his Lord, and plans to kill him if he ever finds an object in the Ruins that truly would give him a god-like power over others.
History: General Cragcraw, though not a General in his young life, was hatched deep in the Eastern Mountains, one of a nest of several chicks. Never close to his family, he flew off as soon as he was able, soon finding himself starving and hopelessly lost. Taking shelter in the damp caves within the mountains like a coward, he fed on small, strange cave beasts to survive, the constant damp tarnishing his feathers and rusting his claws. Hunting the cave beasts also awakened the sadist in him - tearing their limbs and flesh awakened a primal evil within his soul, and he embraced it. Eventually, he felt himself so powerful that he left the caves that had been his home for so long and tried to find an area where the hunting would be easy - and where he could rule. Alighting in the small patch of forest near the Crumbled Ruins, he soon heard rumors of a mad stantler who fancied himself almost human, and who had slaves dig through the old ruins for him in an effort to discover an object that would give him untimate power. Liking the sound of that, Crawclag flew down into the Crumbled Ruins and found Lord Pepsi, flattering him and working his way into his trust. Swiftly becoming Pepsi's second in command, Cragclaw was given the title of General and the job to scout far and wide to bring him even more slaves. Scouring the Eastern Mountains and Erymire Forest, Crawclaw would swoop down in the darkness that had become his friend during his cave days, carrying away small, weak pokemon to the depths of the Crumbled Ruins...
Character's Name: Porro
Species: Minun
Age{in actual years or in general life phases}: Almost two years old
Sex:Male
Description: Porro is a rather average looking minun - a bit small and skinny from being worked too hard and not fed enough, but with normal coloration and proportions. He is, however, deeply scarred from General Cragclaw's constant bullying. He has a few worn, bare patches along his body where the skin is so scarred from Cragclaw's vicious beak that no fur will grow there anymore. Also, his throat has a deep, scarred-over slash from the General's talons - indeed, the cut was so deep that it severed his vocal cords, leaving him completely incapable of making any sound whatsoever.
Personality: Porro is thoughtful, shy, resourceful, and intelligent - and also rebellious, a trait that has landed him in plenty of trouble. He's also a little bit lovelorn and sentimental, dreaming of the day he can finally escape from Crawclag and Pepsi's control and start a family with a mate - like that pretty Shiny plusle, Perri, he watched from afar back in Erymire Forest, before he was seized and forced to work in the Crumbled Ruins.
History: Porro was born and grew up in Erymire Forest, in the Middle Meadow. Soon after leaving on his own, he took up with another minun, a pretty young female named Rose. Feeling like he had truly found his mate, the two built a nest for themselves in a tree and settled down, waiting for mating season when they could have their first litter. Unfortunately, after their mating in the fall, Rose was snatched up and eaten by a hungry umbreon - leaving Porro heartbroken and alone. Feeling like he could never love anybody again, the little minun tried to hide from the world; cowering under berry bushes and eating only enough to stay alive. But one night, he sees something sparkling near the berry grove - a Shiny plusle, snatching a berry up in her teeth and then scurrying away. Finding himself fascinated by her, but too shy and afraid of possibly losing her if he introduced himself, he followed her scent back to the tree where she kept her nest and set up a new home nearby - watching her from afar, but never daring to show himself. One night in spring, however, when his hormones are at their highest, he finally decides he'll say hello - but is snatched up in General Cragclaw's talons as soon as he steps out into the open. Carried away to the Crumbled Ruins and forced to dig up treasures for Lord Pepsi, Porro wants nothing more to escape and return to the Middle Meadow and the girl he wants so much to meet. His rebellion at being taken away from all he knows, however, led to him getting getting mouthy to his captors - which so infuriated General Cragclaw that he silenced Porro forever to teach the other slaves a lesson. Devastated at the loss of his voice, one of the only things he had left in slavery, he simply works like a machine, never fighting back and trying to convince himself he doesn't care about anything in the world. He does, however, have a bit of a soft spot for another of the slaves, a very young rattata named Violet, whom he tries to mentor and defend as well as he can.
Character's Name: Violet
Species: Rattata
Age{in actual years or in general life phases}: Four months old
Sex: Female
Description: Violet still has a lot of growing to do - she's still rather small, and hasn't grown into her clumsy paws and big ears quite yet. Most of her fur is still quite soft and puffy, as well - her sleeker adult coat is still growing in. Already, though, she has a few scars from Cragclaw's beak, including a large, ragged slash in her right ear.
Personality: Violet is very meek and fearful, living in perpetual terror of Lord Pepsi and General Cragclaw. Other personality traits - her gentle, easygoing nature and her sweet, trusting innocence - are deeply repressed due to her situation, leaving her in many ways only the shell of a pokemon. She talks and confides only in Porro, and talks to him only because he does not talk back.
History: Violet was born - one of twelve siblings - in a thick nest in the Eastern Mountains, where she spent the first few months of her life in peace, having playful childhood misadventures. One day, though, a pair of terrible talons snatched up her and several of her siblings, and she was carried off to the Crumbled Ruins and forced to join Porro and the other slaves in digging through the human ruins. A day in and she was already broken and crying, her paws bloodied from metal and her heart sick from missing her parents and the rest of her family. Taking pity on such a tiny creature, and not wanting Cragclaw to hear her crying and punish her severely, Porro started to nuzzle the little pokemon, hoping to sooth and comfort her. Feeling like Porro is the only one she can trust to comfort her and keep her secrets (her other siblings became lunch for General Cragclaw), she confides in him, trying to keep hope alive for escape even as her crippling fear of Pepsi and Cragclaw keeps her from ever attempting anything at all. Dreaming of her mother and the Eastern Mountains, Violet keeps working - and dreaming.
