It was summer time and everybody in the Blizzdour Tribe which was a varianted species of Houndour which lived in the colder parts of the world in an ancient sacred tribe had been drawn from their icy homes. This had happened by mostly nature and force. The large tribe had about hundreds of Blizzdour in it, but due to the elements, their numbers had been lowered, which put the species in danger. It was still unknown if lone Blizzdour roamed Erymire...well to atleast the tribe but they knew that it was now time to face a new challenge.
A group of brown, long fanged Houndour like creatures moved across the river bank. These were the Blizzdour in their spring/summer fur coats. Normally they had long and saggy white fur coats, but to adapt to the climate they shedded it all off. The abnormally large Blizzdour was the tribes leader. "Polarfang how are we going to get across?" yelled an old Blizzdour. "We're going to die aren't we?" yelped a small Blizzdour pup. Polarfang gulped, thanks to a hard rain last night the river had began to oveflow..and overflowing equaled overflooding!

As the Blizzdour approached the side of the river, a fast-moving creature lurked in the depths. He was trying to get across the land of Erymire to the other side, where he had heard of a supplant array of prey was waiting. And he was hungry.
As he sped through, he noticed blurred sights of houndour-like Pokemon that seemed oddly different. What were they? Peaking his area of interest, he stopped abruptly and poked his head out of the water. His middle dorsal fin poked out of the water as well, releasing steam into the air.
"Can I help you?" he asked the group of Blizzdour who seemed a bit in need of assistance. Despite the currents from overflow, he maintained his spot in the river. Rydii looked toward the biggest one, obviously the leader of the pack. It was basic instinctual leadership among most species.,

Polarfang, the lead Blizzdour nodded. "Yes, me and my tribe need to get acrosst he river." He explained "But due to the flood, it would be very hard for the pups, elders, and the sick ones to get arcoss. Let alone the hundreds of us all together." Polarfang stated. The head elder nodded his head. The pups were wailing next to their mothers. There was no other way across the river, they had to get to the Rainforest were they were to be living for awhile, maybe even forever if they couldn't help it.

Rydii thought for a moment, trying to figure out how to get all of them across. "How many in your pack?" Rydii asked, part of his plan. He waited for the answer as he looked around, trying to figure out the way across. "I wonder if any Bidoof or Bibarel live nearby..." he said under his breath. They could construct a bridge.

Polarfang thought for a moment "I have to say around 190 or 200." He said responding. "I know it is quite a challenge to get this many Pokemon across the river...especially one thats flooded but we have to get across now." He said trying to get determined. He sighed however, things were getting very complicated fast.

Rydii nodded, agreeing that they needed to get across fast. He scanned the area, and said, "I will be back soon." He dove into the water and swam fast down the river, looking for Pokemon that could help. He finally spotted a shadow in the distance, and sped up to catch it.
It was a Bibarel, and it was a good thing he was found. After telling him the situation and what is needed, the Bibarel swam away to get more Bibarel and Bidoof. It is good they were glad to help.
Moments later, Rydii was in front of the group again, telling them what he had done. "Well, I found Bibarel that will try and build a temporary bridge across. It may take a moment," he finished, then swam upriver a ways to get a good scan of the group. There were all ages there, and it seemed as if they might take long to get across.
Soon, a squad of Bibarel and Bidoof were working on building the bridge of wood. The leader, named Bwirt, explained what would have to happen. "Three at a time," he said in his rough voice, " on the bridge, so it doesn't topple. No shoving or pushing, because all of you will get across soon. It any of you fall off, do not panic. Rydii or one of my kind will save you. Please cooperate," he explained, then turned and dove back into the river, joining his team. Half of the bridge was done now.

Kamo, a young Farfetch'd was sound asleep next to the river's edge. His webbed feet were properly tucked underneath him as he subconsciously kept his precious leek pressed tight his left wing and feathery body. A small drop of drool leaked from the corner of his bill as he contently enjoyed his nap, until a sharp pain on his back abruptly woke him. Confused and startled, the Farfetch'd jumped to his webbed feet and stomped them before flailing his wings in the air.
His feet were then set in motion, and he frantically darted down the bank until the pain was gone. In a vain attempt to check his backside, he spun around continuously until he got too dizzy and collapsed on the short grass. With a quick look upward from the ground, he could see what looked like three Skitty fleeing away from him. Only they were spinning around in a blurred dance, and occasionally all three merged into one. The Farfetch'd shut his eyes tightly, in a fit of laughter slamming his feathered wings to the ground.
It had apparently only been curious about the wild duck Pokemon, since most Pokemon hadn't seen them around lately. Their numbers were dwindling, and were on the road to extinction. But they were doing better since there had been a dramatic increase in their population over the last year. Kamo strolled along the river's edge since he was now fully awake and spotted a large amount of Pokemon in the distance. He approached them with a fearless and curious look before flinging his leek up into a spin and catching it.

Polarfang blinked and turned back to his tribe. Rising up to appear mighty to them. "Tribe I have an annoucment to make!" he yelled "Please take the Bibarel squad for constructing this fine bridge for us!" the large Blizzdour said. "And please take this Pokemon here for his assitance in our situation as well." Polarfang grummbled. He thrusted his head twords Rydii so all of the Blizzdour in the tribe knew what he was talking about. Polarfang cleared his throat "But there are rules for crossing our new bridge...Only three at a time may cross. First I want to see that all of the pups get across." Polarfang said. There were only five pups in the tribe at the time. Which meant that there wouldn't be too much trouble getting them across. Polarfang was about to give the signal for the first three pups to cross when he noticed a Farfetch'd nearing the tribe. The large tribe of brown saber fanged Houndour like Pokemon quickly turned their head twords the Farfetch'd slightly startled by its sudden apperance.

Rydii looked proud at the announcement the BLizzdour made, but he didn't feel he deserved it. He likes to help Pokemon. Well, he doesn't do it often, since he can only get near the coast and through the river. But, he was startled to see all heads turn to the Farfetch'd, who had turned up unannounced all of a sudden. Rydii dove into the water and swam down the river until he was parallel to the Farfetch'd. He poked his head out of the water and asked, "Hello, what are you doing?" he asked, trying to figure out why this Pokemon would turn up right now when they were about to cross.

Farfetch'd flinched instantly when every Blizzdour in the pack turned their head and looked at him. Their fangs almost glistening in the sunlight. The sheer amount of them in one spot was unnerving. He had never seen a pack of anything this large near Erymire River before and he hoped to the heavens that they weren't hungry. Or at least that wild duck wasn't on the menu.
While he was in this startled state, the Dolflare popping up next to him almost scared the life out of him. He jumped at the sound of it's voice crashing onto flank, his eyes shut tight. Slowly, his deep eyes opened and looked at the aquatic Pokemon. With a quick leap forward he was back on his webbed feet.
"I heard the commotion from down the river." Kamo explained. "If I'm interrupting something, I apologize. I was merely curious"
With that said he swung a wing to his chest in a polite bow before repeating the action towards the group of Blizzdour. Only this time, his muscles were tense in case he needed to flee.

Polarfang looked at the pack he cleared his throat "Um hum." he said "Thats okay, now send the pups across!" yelled Polarfang. The first three pups of the five pups in the pack began to cross the bridge, slowly to make sure nothing was happening. Polarfang smiled as they were making progress. The next two pups began to cross. Once they made it across Polarfang turned to the rest of the tribe "Next we need the queens across." he said. The queens where the mothers of the pups, there was only two in the tribe at the time so it wouldn't be hard "Since there aren't many queens head elder shall cross with them." Polarfang said feeling quite confident that all of this was going to go through smoothly.
---
Meanwhile another storm was moving across the sky. Dark and ominous clouds filled the sky over the Pokemon. Polarfang didn't notice, he was to busy making sure every member of the pack was going to get across the Erymire River safely. So far all of the pups, the queens, and the head elder were at safety. But there was still about a hundred more tribe members left to cross.
