They had been running. For a day atleast. No rest yet. Keiran was panting hard and stumbled twice. With Sirius rolled up in his tail, he caught up to Nicole. "We... gotta.. stop..."

"yes. your right." Nicole said when they finally reached the stream.the water was like a riptide,rushing water, roaring loud. Eclipes wined. "wyaaaaahhh! Wyaaaah!" she heard wing beats through the air. " i think she's catching up to us" she said. "we can't get across the stream though." Firestorm barked in disgust. Eclipes kept wining. " wyyyyaaaah wyaaah. nyaah!" Eclipes spotted a bridge that led across the river. but half of it was missing!

Keiran looked wildly about. Seeing some stepping stones, he knew that only two of them could get across before Artemis arrived. His tails wrapping with Nicole's, he handed Sirius to her and said, "Use the stepping stones there. Take the Houndoom with you and go. Now!" He turned as they fled, the Noctowless landing infront of him. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH MY KITS??!?!!!" She bellowed, trying to push Keiran back with a Gust. "Protecting.. my KITS!" He yelled, firing a Fire Blitz against the Noctowless.

Nicole nodded and ran off with the hounddom. he was caring the second kit. she tried getting to thethird step when she slipped. Nicole dropped the kit onto the stone before she fell in the water. Firestorm froze. if the mother died, who will take care of the kits?

Keiran looked back to see Nicole fall in the water. If he ran from Artemis, she'd easily catch up and get the kits. "Help her!" he yelled pleadingly to the Houndoom as the Noctowless launched a Whirlwind attack, sending him up into the air and smashing down. As he rose, he usde Fire Blitz, knocking Artemis back, but not out. Again, he unleased a Fire Blitz, followed by a Fire Spin and finally an Overheat, catching the owl in the fire.

Firestorm was about to grab nicole when she went under. (more drama, again, not a mary sue) a few moments passed and nicoles head appeared above the water. she fought with all her life to get to the stepping stones. one eye closed, still swimming for her life she managed to get back onto a stone, the next one ahead of Eclipes. She picked her up and continude on, Firestorm hot on her heels.

"You... you.. you betray me and steal away my kits?!?" Artemis raged, "I should've had that worthless Vulpix killed as soon as we caught her!""No!" Keiran yelled, "They're OUR kits! And I.. I love Nicole!" The Noctowless was furious, "Emotions??!!? Names?!?!? I should kill you now!" she screamed, aiming her Steel wing attack at Keiran, who barely dodged.

once nicole got to the other side she layed her kit dow. Firestorm was confused. what was she doing? " take my kits and go. i'll catch up with you later." She whispered and bonded back toward her mate. the houndoom nodded, lifted eclipes on his back and ran off into the wood. Once nicole was on the other side she aimed a flame thrower at artemis.
(this is where she learns scarced fire!)

Keiran looked back and saw Nicole catching up and attacking Artemis. As she let out a Flame Thrower, he ducked. That was no ordinary Flamethrower. The fire glowed a blazing white and hit Artemis directly. The heat of the blast had almost killed her, causing her to fall to the ground, unconcious. The normaly white bird's feathers were either blackened or singed, some burnt off. Keiran quickly turned, "We've still gotta go!" He bounded across the stones, stpping on the fifth for Nicole to catch up.

Nicole bounded across looking back only when she was across. she turned her head running to catch up to firestorm.
(they go back and defeat shadow and become the king and queen of the darkness kingdom. but it won't be the darkness kingdom anymore it'll be the..... bright kingdom and it won't be in that same "thing it'll be in a white castle....)

Keiran made it back to Firestorm and took Sirius, wrapping the pup in his tails. "I'm... I'm amazed we aren't... dead..." he said softly to Nicole, smiling. Sirius, who didn't know what was going on, pawed at Keiran's tails, glomping onto one. "No, Sirius. You're getting teeth, so don't bite Daddy or Mommy, 'Kay?" The little Vulpix nodded happily. "I wuhv oo...?"

((its ok with me but it wont be as easy defeating shadow. im good at battles, key is have a guide book open to the page where the pokemon's attacks are))

Razor, shadow's servent was following Artemis intill she cought up to the ninetails and was almost killed. when the ninetails were out of veiw he went up to Artemis to see if she was still alive.

Nicole senced Razor near by. she turned her head in the direction of artemis. a low growl came out, warning the absol to get away from artemis then and there.
Eclipes wanted to bite into something. "mwamwa! dada!" she wined.

"That's one of Shadow's." Keiran pointed out still as they kept going, "Let's just keep going. I don't want another fight." He looked back only once before running ahead.
Sirius had gained the concept of 'No' and told Eclipse, "Dun bite dah owa mahma. They dun like et."
Artemis twitched one or twice. "Rawst.... berry...." she managed to whisper, loud enough for Razor to hear. She'd need lots of berries and food if she was to pull tohrough this ordeal.

Eclipes also nodded. though she really wanted to bite into something. she found a berry, it looked blue. she opened her mounth to bite it.

Keiran, noticing Eclipse's berry, quickly snatched it from her and put it on the ground. "Eclipse, you gotta ask Mommy or Daddy before you eat any berries. Wiki Berries aren't good. They have a side effect." he looked around and picked up a pair Sitrus berries, handing them to his kits. "Those are Sitrus berries, and those are good for you." Sirus looked att the berry, but if Dad said it was okay, then it ws fine with him. Biting into the berry, his tase buds experienced a good tase. The mix between sour, sweet, bitter and dry was perfect. It was not at all spicy, which was good for the little Vulpix.

"That's a good girl." Keiran said, "Up ahead! There's a lake." He looke dahead, watching the sun glint off the water. "Lake... Lierra, I think it's called?"
Sirius drooped heavily over in Keiran's tails, taking in the sun's warmth that had absorbed into the Ninetails's black tails. He yawned, "I's tired..."

"we'll find a home, temporary at least when we get to the lake." Nicole said calmly.she nuzzled each of her two kits and then licked keiran's muzzle."mo-mo-mommy?" Eclipes mewed."yes? what is it?" Nicole said, a little suprised that her daughter said a word correctly just then."what wis wa Home?" Eclipes asked.

After eating the berries, the Noctowless sat up. "Ugh! Those stupid Ninetails!" she yelled, "I'd better get back to Shadow..." Looking at Razor, she grabbed him with her talons. "We're flying back. It's obviously faster than running..."

Artemis finished her nest just as night fell. She sat in her nest, drifting to sleep. Once in deep sleep, she began to snorre.
