Hey everybody of the lovely land of Erymire. I have a small announcement. For reasons uknown, even to me, but maybe not to our uber-god, Wynn, I am going to be approaching quite a few pokemon and asking if they would like to work part-time, mostly when the big plot events come. Of course, there will be rewards, but as of right now, I can't offer much. The real whole reason behind it is to help people get in on more of the plot, which I am decidedly missing here.
Well, at least that is my idea. I don't know if it has to be approved, but I will wait for the green light anyway, patiently.

yeah I would like to be a part of the main plot! I'm still a little unsure of what it is exactly, but I'm still interested.

This is pretty much as far as I have picked up. The horde have had a rebellion and are weakened at the moment, but few people know it. Crusaders have popped up out of nowhere, and are preparing to attack the Fortress(Horde base), while the forces of light are hiding, or somewhere I don't know at least. Besides that, a new dark kingdom has started in the quicksand sinks called Atermis's domain. it functions along the same line as the horde except that every prisoner is broken, given a number, and obeys the lord there.
That is as much as I can come up with right now.

Yes, but it is all kind of broken up without a large overview. (I read stuff while waiting for posts.) besides, Pidgey(Ace) you are one of the central characters to it, even if you don't know it.

The Darkness kingdom is.. ehm... running into its own problems, so unless we can get many more Noctowl, would be a miniscule force in the plot. X3 So we, from the Darkness Kingdom would probably be totally for the plot if we had more members. *nudge nudge* :3

The plot seemed a tad sketchy to me to even follow from a description. Has it even been thoroughly ironed out or is it all touch and go for the role players?

As far as I can tell, it is touch and go by the users, indicating that there is a plot, many plots, many many plots. If anybody has a better idea about the history of the plot, I would be very appreciative, but the whole point of this recruitment thing is to help with a central plot while lettin people do what they want in between time.

Well my only complaint is it seems so confusing. How do you keep up with them all? Do they all focus around one central plot line?

The main problem with that, is that I don't know. I only joined two days before you did Aurel. I barely know anything as it is, but I intend to figure out what is going on. The plot is fragmented as far as I can see, but that isn't entirely a bad thing. A fragmented plot allows for more freedom of movement, even if it doesn't make the best story with such obvious chunks missing.
To awnser the question bluntly, I don't know how I can keep up with them all.
P.S. I really like your way of posting. It makes you seem much more professional. I must say you do have more experience than poor ole me.

Well my suggestion is to cement the plot further, the main components made clear, and then allow people to do side plots that lead upwards with the climax of the main portion.
That's my input anyway from general experience on other discussion boards.
A fragmented plot, though it allows more flexibility, can also lead to problems. Rigidity has its perks, I'm afraid, but also downfalls as well -- there is no win-win situation here.
[p.s.]
Thanks for the compliment. I wouldn't call it experience though, just a perfection issue.

A fragmented plot does have it's uses, but many people like a whole plot much better, and that's what I am trying to do with this little errand. I think it will work, and if it doesn't, oh well.
There are quite a few things I have no idea about, like the giant lands, or the species limited lands, but I am creating bases of power in the plot. Actually I just added one of those underground overlords which walk the moral line. A pretty mary sue place, power struggles and whatnot, but that is where I be recruiting part time from.

Might my Haunter's army be of use? Of course, it would depend on when this plot started, because I have my own little plot that is more important to my Haunter personally.

Well, sephalesh, if you have anything large like that planned, please PM me before you initiate anything in the game with it. I already have underlying reasons for odd things in the game, like the origins of the Shadowlord's powers, why there are no giants outside the Far Reaches, etc. And, yes, the mystery behind the land of Elyssia.
That said, I hope you enjoy trying to put the pieces together. I will be leaving hints here and there...

Well, Okay Wynn, I wasn't going to start it without your approval, anyway.
I just thought it could be nice if more people could get into the plot, when something big happens. That is really the only reason for it.

Thanks a lot you guys I spent hours coming up with and writting the plot, and not one of you has bothered to mention Rayzor or Zilla. I'm really hurt. Is there much point me pursueing it if none of you even knew it existed? I might as well just ditch Rayzor and Zilla, no one cares, nor would you notice. Considering the fact that you all voted that it was good, no one seems to care anymore. I'm just gonna stop posting for it and see if you care then, though I doubt it.

I'm sorry Jespeon... I'm guessing that this happened sometime before I joined, because I never knew about it. I'm all about getting into plots, so I'm sure that I'd like whatever idea you're talking about, you just need to somehow make it attention grabbing to those who didn't know about it yet, like me.

you're fine, Omni, you did nothing wrong. Nobody on here mentioned my characters either, or anyone's, for that matter. As for plots being mentioned, Jespeon was involved in the rebellion, and that got mentioned.
Basically the plot is fragmented and general because it's a large-ish game with a lot of active players.

That was my whole point Jespeon. I only joined like two weeks ago, and I really know nothing about anything. It is hard to know something about something, when you have to dig deep in a certain place to find that something, when you only know where it is if you already have that something.
I know a little about rayzor, but very little. Why don't you give a summary?

*hugs Jespeon* We love you Jespeon. Theres always a win win somewere, Zilla and Rayzor is a great plot, and is working its way through, give it time and even people who have joined for a few days will know of Zilla.
However the others are right, you need someway to publish it so everyone new knows of your plot.
