CHAPTER 1

Birdwing padded out of the warriors den followed by Rainfall, Firestorm and Jadepaw.
"we'll patrol the spaceclan border." Firestorm, the deputy mewed.
"we always patrol that border!"Jadepaw wined.
"no complaining." Firestorm snapped.
He didn't like complaining. not a bit. Out of the corner of Birdwing's eye, she cought sight of a black she-kit. It stumbled into camp then collapsed.
"Oh my!" the brown and white she-cat mewed. she ran over to the kit and picked up by the scruff, caring it the the medicine cats den. Whitepaw looked up.
" hi-" she broke off.
"oh my starclan is that a kit?!" Harepelt called from the back.
"It stumbled into camp without warning then collapsed." Birdwing explained.
"well place it in a nest then. and whitepaw get marigold, yarrow and a oak leaf, maybe some fever few. this kit looks like it has a fever." Harepelt called to both cats. Birdwing placed the kit in a nest and whitepaw went to get the listed herbs.
When Harepelt was tending to the kit, Birdwing made her way back to the patrol.
"lets go." she mewed.
