Criminal Slavery
The year is 2013, prisons all over the world have been filling up fast, too quickly for the system to cope. Many blame this on the pursuit of warfare, government and military issues which have been pursued in recent years. In order to cope, a new, completely inhumane law was passed, stating that prisoners serving more than 15 years in prison would be sold as slaves for the duration of their sentence, at the end of which they would be handed their human rights again and 'bought' their freedom.
Not everyone is happy with this arrangement in the outside community, and there have been protests every day since. This is why the slaves are kept on small, isolated islands where only the rich can afford to live.
In this chaos of new rules, who will escape with the real power? And can they really get away with this?
