This is the Kyeria Region. At a glance, it might seem like your average everyday Pokémon journey. However, the moment you step into the lab, you'll know there's something different. Why? Well, Professor Ivy is a pokemorph, of course. Espeon, to be exact.
Pokemorphs come about a variety of ways. Genetic mutation, from pokemorph parents and the most horrid of ways, genetic experiments. Many people fear pokemorphs as they still find anything different strange, and in some cases dangerous. News reports of these 'morphs killing people bring them into a rather negative light. However, in Kyeria, there is a movement of people who want to bring equality to 'morphs forming. They don't have a name, they merely sneak through the night or day, spreading awareness of the cruel treatment many pokemorphs, natural or otherwise, are put through. Awareness is spreading and the hatred decreasing, but it's merely the tip of the iceburg.
Ivy's profession was a breakthrough. She is extremely intelligent and very kind, all the qualities for a Professor. She spent years working, longer than any other, to get her qualification. Many existing regions didn't want a pokemorph working in their labs, so when Kyeria was discovered, they sent her there as an aide. However, when the previous professor disappeared almost a year ago, she was forced to take over.Welcome to Kyeria Region: A world where ignorance and confusion taint the ideas of the naive. Is there hope for the next generation of Pokémon trainers?
