OOC: Continued from - Beginning his Journey
IC: Adam could smell the Berrys, His Small Turtle Nose Picking up the slightest of sense. He walked up to the river bank, Pinky and Chiraur (Sorry if spelt wrong) were probably not that far away. Adam had tried to arrange for people to come to the river to meet him. Hopefully they would. Adam sat at the waters edge lapping the water up with his tongue. He turned and waited for his 2 companions to follow.

Chareur just caught up with turtwig. "All that swinging sure made me hungry," he said as his stomach growled. He walked to the riverside to search for fish to catch. He patted his belly as he fantasized of catching a big, fat, seaking for the trio to feast upon.

A Magikarp jumped out of the river at Omega going for the simple splash attack, unlucky for Omega, The Magickarp was in water so it would have effect. "CHAREUR!, BEHIND YOU, I guess we get our dinner" Adam muttered the last part. He thought and decided 'bullet seed' his dad had taught it him before his dad had disowned him. Adam launched 5 Seeds at the Magickarp hoping they would hit.

Chareur quickly snatched the magikarp out of the water. It flopped profusely as it struggled to retreat underwater. "Caught the little guy."

The Seeds Hit Magickarp knocking it out. "I hate to disappoint you Chareur but I only eat 'parts' of the Magickarp - The Eyes and the brain. Its the only types of meat my picky body will digest."

The plains suddenly ended. A green blur attempted to stop before he hit the slow-moving river. He failed. The Scyther put his bladed arms to cover his head and closed his eyes, preparing for a rough stop. He kept going, even though his legs had stopped moving. Opening his optics once more, he found he was on the water, gliding accross it and sending up a plume of spray in his wake.
Sage reached the other side, solid ground, and stopped. He didn't know he could do that. The green bug Pokemon bent down and sliced the water with his blade, to make sure it was really water, and then took a drink from it. It wasn't the bluest, it wasn't the cleanest, but it was water nonetheless. Sage backed away from the edge, and frowned for a splot second, before running straight at the water again. His feet were pointed, not the best for feeling, but this time he felt the difference, the difference between solid ground, and something that was not, but condensed enough to hold his light weight. He didn't stop running this time, and reached the other side of the river, where he had come from.
Sage was overjoyed at this new experience, it was fun! Sage continuously ran back and forth over the large body of water, attempting new styles and ways of running. He could run without stopping his legs, just like over earth. He could glide over it like he was skating, he couuld hop and jump over it. As long as he had momentum, he wouldn't sink into the dark abyss, and what was wonderful, whenever Sage needed a boost in speed, he could just power up his irridescent wings, that way he could stay moving on the water until his strength gave out.
Satisfied he could survive here without falling in and drowning, the Scyther caught his breath for a moment before running upstream, over the water, spraying everything in his wake. After a minute, he noticed movement on the forest side of the river. He immediately got over to solid ground. A Vulpix, a Chimchar and a Turtwig, all together. Rather an unfair fight, if he wanted to get involved in violence.Scyther loved to battle, and he would challenge either of them one on one, but two fire Pokemon...Sage watched and waited from a distance.

"That's OK," said Chimchar as he sliced the magikarp open with a shadow claw. He began feasting on its succulent innards, not even noticing the scyther across the river.

Adam began tucking into the brain of the magickarp, "Hey remember to save some for Aryll" Adam siad before gauging out the left eye. "Where is Aryll anyways?"

Adam finished his portion of the meal, then went to drink more water, though he stopped halfway down the bank because he was spraid with water. He looked up seeing the Scyther, He turned his head back to Chareur "Chareur, Look at this" he whispered then turned back to the scyther, he sipped from the water, keeping his eyes up at the Scyther just incase.

Chareur had nearly picked the magikarp clean of all meat when he turned to see the scyther. "What's he doing here?" replied Chareur.

"I dont know" Adam said, Adam scampered back up the bank to join Chareur, "I think we should wait for Aryll, or for the Scyther to do something"

Alaia looked around, searching for the Turtwig who had asked her to follow him earlier. Where was he? She looked around in annoyance, beginning to think he had lied to her. Just then, she saw him speaking to a Chimchar. " Hey, Adam! " She called, before trotting next to him, " Sorry I took so long. "

"Yes, this is Alai, Alai this is Chareur" Adam said, "Aryll should be coming but there is a mysterious Scyther across the river, Please dont try and talk to him - he looks the vicious sort - Even though we need to cross the river to reache the Berrytree Grove, which is our 1st Checkpoint on our journey"

" 'Ello, Chareur, " she smiled at him, turning to look at the Scyther. ' Aaw, it doesn't look so mean, ' she thought, ' I bet it just wants some friends. ' Alaia, as you can probably tell, is a little naive. " I can't really swim that well either, " she looked down meekly. That was one of the few weaknesses about being a Vulpix, or any fire type for that matter. Touch water for more than a second and you're completely burnt out.

"Damn" Adam said, "Hang on, maybe we could ya know make a bridge sorta, If we manage to knock down a tree, but not burn it, so no fire moves, We could make it across the trunk and through the berrytrees." Adam scanned through the trees till he saw a thin but tall tree. "This one" He said using bullet seed on the tree. The tree cracked about quarter of the way through and started leaning over the river.

" Impressive, " she said to Chareur, then noticed that the tree was still hovering a bit. She used iron tail on it, making it come all the way down.

Adam waited turned back to the back of the forest and shouted "ARYLL!, WE ARE HEADING TO THE BERRYTREE GROVE!" Adam then sprinted aross the trunk. Standing a few metres from the unmoved, untalking Scyther. "Quickly" Adam hissed across the trunk

Adam avoided the Scyther and ran through to the Berrytree grove where he could get somestuff to keep him ticking till the 4th Checkpoint tops. The Giant Pokemon await.
OOC: Continued in the berrytree groves.
