Luke growled at the Noctowl's. He hated when they came after his own kind. He stood inbetween the vulpix and Noctowl's, trying to protect them.

The Muravix still stood infront of Nicole and all the other Vulpix, sitting as a Ninetails would. "You. All you Vulpix. Who are you all? I am Rhyme." A purple Pidgeotto coasted in and landed behind the Muravix, sitting silently and loyally.

"My name is Luke...and why would you come to our help..." Luke said slightly angery.

"No need to be defensive. Are you always like ths to pokemon who are not your kind? We should obviously get moving, if no-one is needing any protection from anything and you little kits will be fine on your own and need no help whatsoever, we shall be moving." Rhyme shook her head. "We-" the Pidgeotto began before receiving a dirty look from Rhyme before she walked off, pausing once for Lavender to join her, but walked off soon after. "I-I'm sorryabout Rhyme. She's... just not acting like her normal self, and, and, and.. well... I can't explain..." her voice trailed off.

Nicole blinked. then blinked again. a purple pigeoto? a two tail ninetails? she thought it was a ninetails but....

Seeing the quizzical look on Nicole's face, Lavender chirped, "I-I'm Lavender, a Pidgeotto, and Rhyme's a Muravix. She's tried to explain it to me, but all can remeber is that she's somehow evolved from a Vulpix." she stopped for a moment then began again, "Oh! Do any of you know a Vulpix named James...?" she loked back to the way Rhyme had left, watching for her eyes to appear, but they didn't.

"James...James..."Luke repeated to himself. He could have sworn that he had heard that name before...very long ago...

"That name seems familar but nobody i can think of" Nyula said walking over to join them

Nyula started to glow "this is the time ive been waiting for" He got bigger the dark red feather wideden two more dark red feathers appered on the side of his head his claws are now ice white and his fur is darker

At Nyula's change, Lavender automatically moved into a ready pose. Sometimes evolutions resulted in a change of behavior- she had to be ready to protect the Vulpix pups from the Weavile if needed.

Luke continued to think of the name. 'James...I have heard of that name...but where? when? and how do I know it???' he thought as he continued to think.

"Ah, ehm, if you see him... point him to the Serebii Shrine, would you please...?" Lavender said, nodding to the group before flying away.

"The Serebii Shrine?" Luke repeated as he watched them run off.

nicole heard a vnoise in the bushes behind her. suddenly a houndour appeared and snachted her. when it set her down for a second it used ember to start a fire behind them. then the houndour snachted her up again and made it's way toward cascade canyon.

Luke growled and said:"I'm going after her!" And before anyone could reply, he was off running around the wall of fire after Nicole.

Nyula not wanting to be left out and help them more he ran after them

Yeto may not have been listenng for half the conversation but saw that the Sneasel had evolved and that the Vulpix had been snatched twice. Quite dramatic it was. "Wait for me" he shouted waddling towards the Canyons. "Damn these small feet!" he shouted as he gave chase.

Hibou observed the ensuing chaos with disdain, clicking his beak softly in disapproval. Never had he expected to see another of his kind engage in such dishonorable tactics. "Gracious...what a mess." He muttered to himself.

Looking around, and noticing that he was alone, Hibou decided to move on. Launching himself into the air, he silently winged his way out of sight.
