Several hours later, it was as dark as the night gets, the sky completely black with the exception of the countless faintly glowing stars. The two Riolu's were still fast asleep.
Around the corner from where they were, lurking in the shadows was a hidden ghost pokemon. He had moved into the mansion undetected and was watching Yamato and Aurora sleep before moving closer to them.
Silently and slowly he hovered over to where Yamato was sleeping. Without waking up Yamato he started to work his powers into his mind, attempting to attack him with a Dream Eater. (ooc: he learns it as a TM but for this purpose I think we can make a slight exception, right?)
Within the sleeping Riolu's head, many thoughts were still being processed. The Dusknoir saw from Yamato's point of view, both of the Riolu just as they had been yesterday. Searching the contents of Yamato's dreams he realized that they were definitely the ones who had attacked his family only hours before.
Yamato woke up instantly with a throbbing pain in his head. He held his paw to his skull as he looked up at the Gripper Pokemon with fright.
"Aurora, wake up!" he yelled, not taking his eyes off of Dusknoir and backing away from it slowly. His head was hurting too much for him to think clearly, so he couldn't fight back. To stop Yamato from moving, Dusknoir used Gravity to pull him down to the ground.

'It truly was a beautiful night. They were out in the yard, a slight wind rustling the tall grass as the moonlight showered five forms with a holy aura, outlining everything in silver. Two Lucario were sitting together on a mound of soft earth, arms wrapped around the other in a loving embrace, their contrasting furs making them all the more majestic the strong, and the majestic. At the bottom of the mound, three small shadows were scampering around, playing in the late hours of the night. One tallest Riolu was a deep blue, deeper than her mother, closer resembling the endless ocean rather than the cloudless sky. The smallest was as silver as the moon itself, the dainty chestfur being the grey of threatening stormclouds. The final Riolu pup looked identical to her father, a deep crimson red fur covered most of her body, where it would normally be a shade of blue; this small creature tied the sea and the sky together when the sun fell from the sky. The mother Lucario was humming a sweet melody, one that had been created on the spot, it was soft and soothing, the perfect lulaby. The eldest son crawled up to his parents and fell asleep in their lap, and the youngest, without a playmate, closed its eyes where it lay, leaving Mathas and Cilis awake with their middle daughter, yet unnamed. The daughter who was still awake, was occupied grooming its own fur while both parents admired the nighttime sky. It happened fast, a ribbon of red ran across the sky. "Aurora" cilis whispered in quiet amazement. What was more amazing was that the ony Riolu left awake turnned her head to the sky just in time to see the natural wonder. Mathas and Cilis noticed the slight movement. Aurora. They would name their daughter Aurora. But they never got the chance. Aurora, in a weird twist of fate, wandered off into the weeds, her attention caught by a firefly. She was unaware that the rustling of the grass a little ways away was not that of the wind. Her parents stood, alert. They had sensed the Aura. The red Riolu turned just in time to see the yellow form of a hulking Electrivire emerge into the courtyard.'
"Aurora, wake up!"
"Nooooooooooooooooooooooo!" Aurora awoke with a terrifie, blood-curtling scream as she sat bold upright. Her eyes werw wide open as she panted in the light of the withdrawing moon. Her fur was matted with sweat. She let her racing heartbeat relax and her eyes focus. She looked over to her companion, to see if she had startled him, only to freeze. Standing, of hovering over her friend was a form that resembled the one she hated the most. Her mind wasn't working properly, she was still half asleep, but the figure she was was large, hairy and yellow. Electrivire. When her body finally realized what might really happen, Aurora rolled to her feet, automatically settling into a fighting position. Her vision cleared, the Electrivire was no longer there, to be replaced, possibly with something much more frightening. Her pulse quickened, the Dusknoir was holding down her friend.
His Aura was easily three times that of hers and Yamoto's put together, there was no fighting back. She thought of running, just saving herself to get as far away as possible, but there were two problems with that; first, her family was here, laying in the earth, relying on her to protect their eternal rest, and second, her new family, Yamato. She could never live with herself if she left now. She might not live if she stayed here. It took her a few moments to gather her wits, ~"Who are you and why are you in my territory? What is it you want?"~ She asked directly to the Dusknoir's mind, attempting to sound more brave than she felt at the moment. Perhaps they could negotiate.

(ooc: I was working on my project for my Media 1 class that I'm doing. It focuses on Yamato (Matt) Ishida from Digimon Adventure, but I like Tamers the best. Wow I can't believe it your opinion on digimon/pokemon is the same as mine.)
Yamato was still fighting the effects of Dusknoir's gravity when Aurora awoke from her dream. The Dusknoir replied in a creepy, low tone, "Ignorant little Riolu. You do not belong here. This is our territory, not yours. Your presence here has defiled the home of my ghost bretheren. Only hours before now you have viciously attacked my friends, you can't be allowed to live."
Yamato, using a lot of effort, managed to get himself up. "How could you say that...we have just as much right to be here as you do," he said with spite. "And the Duskull attacked me!"
Yamato went into a trance again, and attempted to identify Dusknoir using Foresight. However, he felt a sharp pain in his head when he did. The Dusknoir predicted what Yamato would do so he Disabled Yamato's Foresight, making his attacks completely useless.
He knew he should run and escape to live another day, but it wouldn't be much of a life if he was alone. Yamato decided he must find out what Aurora wanted. Using his extra sensory powers, the Riolu whispered telepathically to Aurora, "I really think we should leave, but what do you want to do? I know this is your home, but we don't have many options. The Dusknoir is just too strong..."

(Technically, it's Yamaki, not Yamato, and there really is no connection to Matt aside from looks. Just like Sora looks like Takato's teacher and Mimi looks like Rika's mom. Heh, when I think of Ishida I think of Bleach...wow. I like the fifth season the best, it's far more mature than any other series (never seen fourth and I don't want to). I hate the way the English version will totally botch it when it comes out. The name changes upset me the most, like Masaru to Marcus, Touma to Thomas...ugh. None of the other names change, and they're corny names anyway!)
Aurora was still terrified out of her wits, she completely ignored Yamato unintentionally, she just didn't hear him, her focus was on the Dusknoir. Even so, the thought of leaving was almost as terrifying than staying and fighting. But a thought occured to her, and she responded to the Dusknoir, feeling almost an eerie chill overcome her. "Yeah?" She said, narrowing her eyes and pointing her paw at the ghost Pokemon, "Well, if this was your territory, where were you for the past ten years? No, more than that, my parents lived here two years before that, where were you then? I think you lost your claim when you failed to defend it" Aurora was furious that the Dusknoir had attempted to fool her, she could see through it like she could see Aura.
The red Riolu didn't know what she expected, it obviously wasn't going to leave easily, but what happened next was the last thing she would ever suspect. The Dusknoir...laughed. That was it, it just started laughing, a dark, creppy, full-throated laugh that sent shivers down Aurora's spine. !"Don't laught at me!"~ She yelled into his mind. That got his attention.
"We tried to ignore your beloved parent's transgression. We ghosts are ageless, eleven years was the blink of an eye to us, but you never budged. Who do you think it was that brought about your parent's death?" It asked, leaning in close like a Mighteyena carefully watching its prey to revel in its fear. Aurora backed up, her eyes open wide in doubt. What was he talking about, it couldn't be, she knew exactly who and what killed her parents, and none of them was a Dusknoir. How could that be? The ghost continued "We didn't want to kill them, you see, so we went to the Horde to ask if they could take care of a pest problem. Little did we know your late father was a wanted criminal. They sent a party to clear out the trash"
Aurora blanched, her eyes wide open yet her pupils dilated until her eyes were almost pure white. She was lost in the past, she saw her father laying on the ground, quivering from the affects of a nasty Dream Eater, unmoving as the Machoke lifted a massive boulder...she heard her mother's screams as thousands of volts of electricity were passed through her body, charring her canine form until she caught fire and fell silent. Watched as her older brother, who was about as old as Aurora was present day, and her infant brother were swallowed by a Seviper, alive and whole, still struggling for freedom. She stayed hidden as the lumps in the snake's belly finally stopped moving and the fiend spat them both back up again. All this...all this was caused by one Dusknoir, the Dusknoir that was conveniently floating before her.
Aurora snapped to the present, and her Aura spiked, fueled by an unmistakeable rage and a deep-seeted desire for revenge that she kept locked away in her heart. She unconciously knew that Yamato was held down by an invisible force as she ran forward, focusing all her energy in her paw. The Riolu used part of the crumbled wall as a stepping stone to catapult her high into the air while using Foresight. Fortunately the Dusknoir hadn't used Disable on her yet. She entered the forcefield of the Dusknoir's Gravity and fell faster than a stone, increasing the power of her Force Palm five-fold.
Her attack never landed. The Dusknoir lifted his large hand with almost impossible speed, glowing a pure silver in the fading moonlight. Aurora was hit on the left shoulder, hard. Her light figure was sent flying, faster than she had fallen through the gravitational field, directly into a wall. But that didn't stop her, the force of the impact sent her right through the wall, and she smashed into the ground and tumbled head over heals straight into another wall. She hit hard, the impact dented the concrete as she slid to the floor, laying limp on her side. Her vision blurred, she was seeing stars. Her breathing came shallow and ragged as her eyes stared, unblinking and unseeing into the distance as saliva dripped from her mouth. Her left shoulder was completely encased in ice, an affect from the Dusknoir's Ice Punch, and a piece of ceiling was dislodged, falling on her right leg. She didn't feel it, she could barely feel a thing at the moment, she didn't know the danger she was in.

(ooc: Trust me I know way more than I should about Digimon. When I said that I liked Tamers the best, I wasn't implying that Yamato was in both seasons. I do recognize the difference between Yamato (the "lone wolf" from adventure) and Yamaki (the creator of juggernaut from tamers). In the first episode of adventure, when Tai introduces the characters the screen says: Yamato "Matt" Ishida. Matt is the english version of yamato, just as marcus is of masaru. I love data squad though, agumon is just plain hilarious. It seems each season keeps getting more mature, I'm not counting Frontier either because it is a terrible season. Well I've talked enough about the best show on television, back to RPing.)
Yamato could do nothing but watch as Aurora was punched through the wall. The young Riolu was terrified, the blow looked quite severe.
Is she okay? I have to go to her... Yamato thought, trying with all of his strength to just inch toward Aurora. A Slugma could have moved faster than him.
The Dusknoir was still laughing, now at Yamato who was struggling to move at all. "You will share her fate," he said, preparing another attack for the Riolu. The Dusknoir temporarily vanished, becoming enshrouded in shadow as he moved in closer to Yamato, who was unaware of the oncoming assault.
As Yamato was taking tiny steps and almost out of the gravitational field, Dusknoir appeared again to throw a Shadow Punch at him. The Shadow Punch (Getting a boost from Same Type Attack Bonus, the Punch with 90 base power) sent Yamato flying as well, going in the same direction as Aurora and landing painfully not far away. However, he was rendered unconcious by the blow...
---
Yamato was lying down under the stars in complete silence. He noticed that Aurora was next to him, looking at the stars as well. It was so peaceful, and Yamato was the happiest that he has ever been. He looked over at the other Riolu, who in turn returned his gaze.
Instead of saying anything, Aurora stood up and walked away. After waiting for a few moments, Yamato got up as well to look for her. He walked around the perimeter of the deteriorating room of the mansion, looking for the way out. He couldn't find the door, though.
No...I hate being alone...Where's the door!? Oh, Aurora, where did you go?
He frantically walked laps around the room. "Aurora! Please, come back!" he yelled.
When he stopped moving around the room, he panting heavily. He was going insane trying to look for the exit and the path to the other Riolu...the other one like him.
His aura was gaining more and more strength, and finally he used that power to Force Palm the wall. He felt pain in his hand as he felt the wall crumble...
---
Yamato opened his eyes to exactly what he wanted to see, just not the way he wanted to see it. Aurora was in front of him, shoulder still frozen. He noticed the debris from the cieling was pinning her to the ground, so he crawled over to her and attempted to lift it off.
Despite his fervor, Yamato didn't have the strength to lift the obstruction. He felt his muscles beginning to weaken. Looking over his shoulder he saw movement in the shadows.
He's coming closer. I'm running out of time! I have to save her now!
"Yaargh!" Yamato groaned as he evoked hidden inner strength to heave the bits of cieling over his head. He felt the bone chilling presence close in on them.
Scared out of his wits, he clung to Aurora. "Please, get up!"
(ooc: uh, she is unconcious or at least semi-concious, right?)

(Ahh. Haven't seen that episode in so long...Anyway Have you seen the newest movie? The X-Generation or something? Awesomeness incarnate. And yes, she's semi-conscious)
'She fell for the last time, she was too tired to get up again. "What's the matter?" Her father asked. He bent down, a look of concern on his face. "Have you finished?" Aurora lay on the ground panting heavily, her once-silky fur was matted with sweat. "Your brother did it on his first try." She tried to stand, her legs shook like she was standing on shifting sands, her view was becoming dark. "Do you give up?" She could take it anymore, she rushed forward with all her strength, leaping, and struck downward with all her might. The rock shattered'
Thump thump. She heard something in the darkness, something close. Thump thump. There it was again. Thump thump. It was getting louder, and annoying. It sounded hauntingly familiar. Thump thump, thump thump. She had heard it before, it was...the sound of a heartbeat. Thump thump. But whose? Her own? "Is that it?" Aurora opened her eyes and came back to her senses. She cried out in pain, her whole body hurt, there was not an inch that wasn't gravely damaged. Her eyes focused, almost sharper than before. She saw another Riolu. He was trying desperatly to lift something heavy...off of her. She looked down, her legs were trapped...for some reason she was nonplussed. She had to get out, there was danger. There was danger and yet the fear didn't register. Thump thump. She tried to move her arm, but it didn't budge. She saw the ice. No matter. Her right arm still worked, and she used it in conjunction with Yamato's and together they lifted the cieling fragment. "Do you give up?"
"No" She crawled from under the the cieling and stood on wobbly legs, as if she was standing on shifting sands. Her legs burned and there was a severe limp when she walked, but she moved to the edge, seemingly oblivious to the threat sneaking up on them from the shadows. There was a window, she could see light to the east. Aurora turned around. ~"Come"~ The Dusknoir heard her challenge and dashed forward, chargin another Ice Punch to pummel into her face and freeze her whole body permentantly.
Aurora fell backwards, through the window that broke into a million crystal shards, reflecting golden light as they fell, the form of the red Riolu in their midst. The Ice Punch missed her chin my mere centimeters and Aurora smiled as she fell. The glorious sun rose above the treeline, engulfing the shadowed one in its purifying glow. The Dusknoir attempted to shield itself from the painful light with his thick arm, but it did no good. In a matter of seconds the Ghost dissipated with the coming day.
Aurora attempted to do a backflip, and landed crouched on all four paws. Spitting pain lanced through her whole body and she fell to the side, too tired to even cry out.

(ooc: yes x-evolution is one of my favorite movies. Want to know how much I love data squad? It's evident in the desktop I made: i226.photobucket.com/albums/dd268/phaystus/DESKTOPMARK3.jpg ) Yamato, still fatigued and suffering from the shadow punch, realized that the threat was gone. He felt slightly relieved. But something was still bothering him, though. Aurora had just gone through the window...from several floors up that was quite a fall. Yamato slowly got up and went to the window to look down below. A red figure was lying on the ground surrounded by pieces of broken glass. She wasn't moving or making the slightest noise. In response to this alarming sight, Yamato dashed down the stairs to check Aurora's condition. She was still motionless. "Speak to me! Say anything!" Yamato pleaded, not sure if she heard what he was saying or not. Brushing away some of the broken glass, Yamato kneeled down by Aurora and waited for a response. These ruins are not safe...Maybe I should carry her out of this forsaken place before they can attack again. Then again, do I even have the strength?

Aurora opened her eyes to see Yamato once again over her. "Stop yelling....you jerk..." She was exhausted, all the wanted to do was just sleep, close her eyes and take a long, long nap. Something told her that was a bad idea. She gently pushed the blue Riolu away and crawled to her feet. Her head pounded, threatening to explode, but she managed to stay vertical. Her legs were spasming in complaint of being mistreated so and her left arm hung limp at her side...but she was alive, that was all that mattered...that, and the fact they needed to get as far away from here as possible before that monster came back. She started moving on her own, her right leg was badly damaged, but it wasn't broken. She could barely put any weight on it, so she dragged in along with her as she moved through the courtyard in a trance, wincing and calling out faintly all the way, but she refused to be helped, she would do this by herself or not at all.
Something out of the corner of her eye caught her attention. Four headstones solemnly standing watch over four mounds. Mathas, Cilis, Darvos...and a little unnamed formed, all slowly decomposing within the cold embrace of the earth. Aurora shook, not from tremendous pain, not from the biting cold enveloping her left arm and shoulder, but from overwhelmind sadness. There was a moment where she decided she would stay here, she would fight and die to protect her family's peace...but that idea fluttered away on the morning breeze as quickly as it had come. She had to live, had to live to get revenge, live, for if she died her father would never forgive her, and her mother would be infinitely sad. That couldn't happen. She had to live, if not for her family, for Yamato, and for herself. Death was the cowards way out.
A tear streaked down her cheek as she turned away, the most painful thing she ever had to do. She kept walking, not looking back, for if she looked, her resolve would melt and she would never leave. Aurora limped on and came to a small bush. There were four berries, only four. Oran berries. She plucked all four, and devoured one before handing the second one to Yamato. The final berries they would save for when they needed them again. She rested on the wall of a building, leaning on it to give her strength. The berry wasn't instantaneous.
"You alright?" She asked through clenched teeth. She hoped she sounded better than she felt.

(ooc: wow my posts are a lot shorter. I guess that's where we're different. I prefer more modern styles with fast pacing. It's how I write The Staff Of Souel as well.)
Yamato chewed on the berry and replied in an exhausted tone, "I've been through worse."
We're both alive, that's good enough for me, he thought, fully relieved now.
He looked at the ruins surrounding him, searching for any other sign of life. "As much as it hurts, we need to keep moving before they come back," Yamato said, starting to walk away. He turned his head to look back at Aurora. "You can walk, right?"
Yamato could feel Aurora's aura filled with her negative emotions. He sensed her overwhelming pain and her sorrow, but he still wasn't sure why she was so sad.
Why is she so stubborn? She must be acting this way for a reason...what's bothering her?
Yamato stopped to look back at the ruins that Aurora called home, this crumblind mansion with the small patch of graves.
Hm, maybe that has something to do with it. Still, home is where your friends are, isn't it? Why couldn't she move on? Oh well, I won't give up on her yet. It just needs time...

(It's quality that matters. I just have to make my posts exactly how I want them. I'm a perfectionist when it comes to writing)
The affects of the Oran berry finally kicked in. It didn't fully heal her, how could a simple berry heal this much damage? But it eased the pain just enough so that movement was bearable. She forced out a chuckle through clenched teeth, despite the fact she found nothing funny in the matter. She had to put on a brave face. ~"Can I walk? Don't be insulting"~ She wasn't really insulted, but the fact she was up and about after that Ice Punch is astounding, even to her.
She moved forward, still limping badly, but at a much faster pace than she could before, and that was what mattered. She closed her eyes as she moved forward, holding back tears as she moved farther and farther away from her parent's resting place, their graves. They went through the twisting maze of the once-glorious city, watching in amazement at how time had ravaged this place. Healthy vines grew up every carapace and tall weeds had broken through the concrete, joining with a tree or a bush or plants that were blossoming with the new day. It was really beautiful.
The sun was moving in the eastern sky, and they were moving under it in the same direction, West. It was the fastest way out of the city. Where two renegade Riolu would go next was anyone's guess, all Aurora knew was that she had to live. Live and get stronger. They passed the last of the buildings, and before them was a large wall of trees. Tall, dark, foreboding. Aurora was not used to life anywhere that was outside of the city, but Yamato...Yamato was a wanderer, surely he had knowledge of such stuff. She hated to admit it, but Aurora would have to rely on someone other than herself. It made her feel guilty and almost scared. It was a new experience for her.

Yamato began to walk slightly faster. He had gotten used to his pain now, he actually had a high threshold for physical injuries. Looking at all of the deteriorating architecture of this ancient place made him feel nostalgic. Not that he had seen such amazing things before, but it reminded him of emptiness, isolation, things he's felt all of his life. All of this space, yet no one occupying it. He felt something else, intruding into his own thoughts.
Aurora...She is full of sorrow as well.
Yamato went back to thinking about his own life again. The outside aura was irritating him.
What is her deal? I have to end this now if I am ever to have peace of mind...
Yamato turned around to face Aurora and motioned for her to stop.
"Hold it," he said calmly. He didn't want to let her know that she had annoyed him, but these were questions that would have to be answered regardless. "There is something you're not telling me. I'm telling you now that you need to tell me, Aurora. Not for me, but for you."
Yamato sighed softly. Yamato turned his head away from her for a moment and wiped his face. "I...It's just that...you don't want to keep these things inside of you, trust me. I was very much like you, once. I never let anyone know what I was feeling. I ended up driving away those that were around me. Don't be like I was, Aurora. You have to believe me, living life alone is not worth living, I've done it!"

Aurora paused but only to hear him out before she started to move again. They weren't safe, they had to keep going. "Keep moving" Was all she said for a while. She wanted to walk in silence. It was still morning, they had gotten farther than she had expected. As she walked she found that being in a forest was rather similar to living in an ancient city. Everything seemed organized, in a haphazard sort of way, and it was peaceful here...so peaceful. As they walked in silence, she started hearing the voice of the forest, the twittering of birds, Pidgey, Spearow, and other birds she couldn't put a name to. The rustling of the leaves told her ears exactly where small prey Pokemon such as Rattata or Sentret scurried under the cover of bushes or tall grass to avoid predators. As they walked Aurora started to recognize a small beaten path that they were following, consciously or unconscously.
It was only when the sun was directly overhead did the red Riolu suddenly stop. The affects of the earlier Oran berry were wearing off, she ached all over. She sat down on an old toppled log. She took a big breath. Her head burned and both arms were killing her. Her left was still completely incased in ice; despite the sun's rays, it was only beginning to thaw. And her other arm, her right arm, was complaining after taking most of the impact from crashing through the wall of the mansion she once called home. It was the same shoulder that she had smacked when the Duskull attacked her the day before. "Could you make a fire, I'm a little lame at the moment" It took her a lot to admit that, even to Yamato, who seemed to care for her unconditionally. She supposed she owed him an explanation.
She took a deep breath, and began. "Despite what you say, I was just like you, not too long ago. I was born and raised in those ruins, I knew nothing else. I grew up happy, the second daughter of two wonderful parents. My mother taught me how to take care of myself and my father showed me how to defend myself, how to fight and use Aura. I lived happily, without a care in the world, until five years ago." She took another deep breath, preparing herself for what was to come. "It was nighttime, my parents stood on alert, they sensed someone. Out of the shadows came an Electrivire. As I listened from my secret hiding place, I discovered just who my dad was. The Electrivire was from the Horde, just like my father. They had worked together. The Electrivire said he had left the Horde after my father did and had been searching for them. My parents let their guard down. Later, as I was getting tired, other figures snuck on them. My parents were betrayed. A Seviper, a Haunter and a Machoke. Slowly but surely, they killed tortured my father and mother before mercilessly killing them and my two brothers. Since then I had lived alone, and told myself I was happy. The rest, I think you know. I am just glad I didn't drive you away"
She said, waiting for a reply, and a fire. For some reason, she couldn't cry now. It seemed she used up all her tears over the years. In the small clearing, she was wondering if he would share his tale, but she half-hoped he wouldn't. The last thing she needed was a sob story and another burden of problems to weigh her down. "I must get stronger. Stronger so I can make them pay, stronger...so no one will ever go through what I have" In that moment, her thoughts turned dark, imagining what power she could have. Once she was healed she would train. Train everyday until she dropped from sheer exhaustion. Train with or without Yamato. Train until she can walk away from any battle unscathed. She would become stronger, stronger than her parents, stronger, faster and smarter than anyone else. Stronger, so even the legendary Pokemon will know and fear her. Then she will have her revenge.

(ooc: I didn't think pokemon could make fire like this, but I'll go with it anyway.)
Yamato started gathering kindling to build a small fire. He snapped small twigs into even small pieces and neatly stacked them in a pile by the log that Aurora was resting on as he listened to her story.
"...I am just glad I didn't drive you away," Aurora said. Yamato couldn't help but smile at that.
At last, she is starting to open up. I'll take that as a good sign.
He went back to making the fire, scavenging for two pieces of flint to start it. Looking around the ground where he was, he dug through the dirt a little to find a few small, round stones. Yamato just started to strike them together to create sparks.
"I must get stronger. Stronger so I can make them pay, stronger...so no one will ever go through what I have," Aurora continued. Yamato started getting a little uncomfortable, his fur raised as he felt a dark emotion in Aurora's aura.
This is the worst...Revenge is a terrible thing. Yamato thought before he answered Aurora.
"I see. Hopefully telling your story has brought you some relief. I will share with you the story of my past, but only if you ask. There are more important matters to discuss now," Yamato said calmly, lighting the fire and resting on the fallen tree as well.
"Something else I need to warn you about it feelings of revenge. I've dealt with revenge in the past as well, and I assure you it won't solve anything. No matter how many members of the horde you fight, it won't bring them back, Aurora. Still, I know I can't force you to forget the memories of your family. You will have to see for yourself that revenge is...meaningless," Yamato continued, slightly venomous with his last word. "Becoming stronger is necessary at times, but only to protect something...at least that's what I think."

(I can’t see why not. This post might be a little crappy.)
Aurora closed her eyes and smiled slightly as she positioned her arm over the baby flame. Even though it was small, she felt the warmth spread throughout her body and watched as the ice on her arm slowly started to melt. To speed the process, she put her free arm, still aching, over the ice and sent as much Aura into as she could. The way her father described it, Aura was one’s life force, one’s energy; and her mother taught her that energy created heat. The affect was minimal at first, but it was noticeable, the frozen water melted faster, dripping more as the fire fought for life and reached higher.
Aurora looked up sharply as Yamato spoke once more. ”I respect your opinion and can only grasp at what you’ve been through, but I’d prefer it if you didn’t tell me what to do. I will not change my course. The Horde is a menace to everyone, no one is safe. I go to protect those who cannot protect themselves, and if I can destroy those who have destroyed my parents, so much the better. But for that I need strength. Once we are recovered, will you train with me Yamato?” Throughout her speech her Aura spiked, in part at Yamato for admonishing her about revenge. She knew full well the dangers of what she had to do, she knew more than anyone that you cannot bring back the dead no matter what, how dare he try to tell her that!
She heard a crackling, and her rage tempered a little bit, the ice that incased her arm was breaking, larger and larger chunks were falling away. Her thumb was now free. Aurora raised her arm and brought it crashing down against the log she was sitting on. The ice, as well as the part of the log she smashed it on, shattered. The resounded noise seemed to echo throughout the trees, sending any creature that was close by scurrying and flapping for shelter. The red Riolu grinned, she could get over anything that was thrown her way. Her newly-freed left arm felt raw, she clenched her fist and rubbed her whole arm over and over, warming it up even more. ”I think we can get going now” She said, she felt anxious, like she should be doing something. After picking up and eating her remaining Oran Berry for the pain, walking was the only thing available. She didn’t know where she was going, she had no place to stay, no place to call her own, only Yamato and a goal. Perhaps he would share his story while they walked.

After Aurora freed her arm and started to walk away, Yamato knelt down to cover the small flames in dirt, smothering them completely. He was still perplexed by his new traveling companion's stubborn tendecies.
Why is she transparent at times, but others she is closed up tighter than a Cloyster? Yamato though in annoyance. About to get up he looked over at Aurora, getting a glimpse at her aura. Still anger...It will take quite some time to figure her out, I would think. Just as, if not more so, complicated as me.
Brushing the dirt off of his fur, Yamato walked rapidly to catch up with Aurora. His voice was merely a soft whisper. "I wasn't telling you what to do. Like I said before, it's completely your choice. You can only learn to change by yourself...Anyway, I would gladly train with you...Maybe you will learn something about yourself in the days to come."
Yamato couldn't bear to look at Aurora, as he knew she was not in a good mood. He only stared up at the sky as he walked.
