Running water gets dull after a bit{Care to join?}

"She just came to my territory one day and I decided I'd take her in," said Ralla. "Honestly. would you have been able to resist this face?" She lightly squeezed Cleffa's cheek with her paw.

Cleffa giggled and claped her hands.

Spark smiled and rubbed aggenst Ralla, marking her as his own.

Ralla reacted by wrapping herself around Spark. To her he was the ultimate sexy.

[Starrunner]

"Cleffa, could you go and play in the little pool over there?" Spark asked snuggleing up to Ralla.

Cleffa did as she was told.

[wynnyelle]

"Wow," said Ralla, looking at Spark. "You sure have a way with kits. She just met you and already she's listening to you without a hitch! I'm impressed."

[Starrunner]

"I used to babysit baby pokemon went there parents went off to gather food." Spark said, sniffing her and then snaking around her.

[wynnyelle]

Ralla smiled at him and snaked back around him now that they had their privacy. "Well practice makes perfect."

[Starrunner]

Spark did what all males do best.

ooc: lol. Not ALL males, actually. Being a cat breeder I can vouch for this. There are Studs and there are Duds...but we can assume Spark is a Stud.

ic: Ralla lay next to Spark afterwards, her head against his chest. She wondered if she were doing the right thing. She realised she had to mate or die, that was the way of her kind, but did she have to open herself up to a new mate like this? She realised she was already too far gone to be undecided on it. "Promise me you won't go get killed...like my first mate did."

"I will only die of old age or from defending you." Spark said, licking her head.

[wynnyelle]

"DON'T die from defending me." Ralla looked at him, too close to be able to focus on his face. "You promise me. Anything overwhelms you, and you run. If I lose you, that's another heartache I won't be able to survive."

[Starrunner]

" I will, Ralla, I promise." spark said and licked her ears lovingly.

[wynnyelle]

"Well," said Ralla, getting up, "we have lots to do. We have to make a den, for one thing."

[Starrunner]

He pointed to an aqua berry bush that was no to far away. "That look like a sutible place?"

[wynnyelle]

Ralla nodded. "Looks like a place to start. Maybe a little deeper in, somewhere that a pokemon couldn't find too easily just by poking along the bank." She began to investigate just past the bush.

[Starrunner]

"I will get started on the den then." spark said and used dig. He rflug the dirt out behind him so easily, it looked like he was swimming threw it.

[wynnyelle]

Ralla was very impressed. "Wow. You don't have to do all of it, though, just get it started and I'll take over...dun wanna make you do all the work."

[Starrunner]

He walked out of the den and said, "I already finished...." he said and ran to get cleffa.

[wynnyelle]

"Just...wow. I've never seen a furret dig like this!" In awe, Ralla stepped to the freshly dug burrow to have a look.

[Starrunner]

He brought a huge ball of moss into the den and began to spread it around. Cleffa came in with another ball of moss.

[wynnyelle]

"Wow, where'd you get all that moss?" Ralla was amazed. She had found one amazing hubby. She wasn't regretting it by any means! He was a superfurret! "Here I am just standing here while you two do all the work, I don't think so." She went to gather up some moss and join them in their efforts.

[Starrunner]

Clefffa had fallen asleep on a big pile of moss.

Spark licked her quietly, "I want to show you something." he said and lead her down a narrow tunnel, too narrow for cleffa to get threw.

[wynnyelle]

"What? Cleffa, don't go too far without us," called Ralla to her daughter. She then followed Spark down through the tunnel. "Holy pokegods, you dug ALL THIS?"

[Starrunner]

"Yep, Look." spark said pointing into a cavern, with a small stream running to the middle, where it pooled. "Natural cave."

[wynnyelle]

"Wow...you've found another entrance to the cave system," said Ralla. "I never got around to telling you that yeah, there is a whole cave system underneath this stream area. I explored a whole area of it...last year." She sighed. "It's beautiful. We can't raise our babies in this place but still..lovely to come down here just to explore."

[Starrunner]

"The pool is cool and fresh." spark said, lapping up some water.

[wynnyelle]

"Just, wow," said Ralla. "You know, we can't raise our kits here. It's not safe having a den with two openings like this. There are probably pokemon living in here that could prey on a baby sentret. What we'll have to do if we want to stay here is burrow out into the side or something, dig a new den."

[Starrunner]

"I will colasp the tunnel farther along and I will put rocks infront, but we must stay here." spark said and use iorn tial on the far end of the tunnel. Dirt and rocks fell and blocked the tunnel.

[wynnyelle]

"Wait a minute," said Ralla. "Why 'must' we stay here? I'm not about to burst out with sentrets any second, you know. We have time to dig another burrow, and if you don't want to dig it I can. You've already done plenty, you should rest."

[Starrunner]

He suddenly fell over and a small poison barb clung to his fur.
