Paws hit the ground softly. He was carefully to make no noise. He didn't want to upset anyone. Well, he could care less if he upset anyone. He would just simply take them down like he did his parents. His anger against them was strong. And anger coul dbe a powerful thing. Without hesitation he ahd turned around and slughtered them. It was their fault that he and Kiara ran away. It was their fault that Kiara had drowned in the river. Everything was their fault. Now that the flaws in his life were destoryed, he could finally rest in peace and start his life over from scratch.
The black ninetales melted away from teh shadows. Beady red eyes scanned the terrain, the scent of none came to him. The demonic looking pokemon was truely what he seemed to be. He had mostly been like this. he only showed the slightest of compassion to Kiara, but still there was none worthy of what he gave her. Jade was the only family he had left and she had ran away when she witnessed his dredful sin. God nows where that bitch ran off to. He never liked her. She was a suck up to his parents and almsot ratted on them for running away. He'd show her next time they met.
Small auds pricked forward from their resting place, pressed against his skull. He was allways upset. He allways had his ears back and allways had a dark and unpleasant aroura about him. How Kiara put up with him, he did not know. A blood curling howl was thrown at the harvest moon. Pyro's presance was made clear throughout the land he called home now. And upon this land he would build his future, and upon this land he would birth his mayhem. |

Jetix was wandering around trying to find other wolves - possible pack members. Her nose was pressedto the ground as she sniffed around. Her ears pricked at the sound of the howl. She darted forwards but stayed in the shadows slightly so as not to show her presence. She turned and faced the black ninetales and howled in her alpha howl that told everyone she was in charge of a pack and could easily fight away others! She stepped out of the shadows to show her presence...

Crinx blinked as the ninetails came into view. Now this would be interesting. Sure, Jetix probably had some good moves, but 9 times out of 10, the evolved form won. Especially when you were a tiny poochyena. He eyed Jetix warily. What was she getting them into?

The demon sighed. He brought his thoughts and voice back down to earth. He momentary peace was broken. He wished to hear his howl disappear into the darkness but another was thrown up into the sky to replace. The strangers scent was unwelcome and uncalled for. Her authority and presence would not be tolerated. She had stepped onto the wrong slice of land tonight. His patcence was short, like his temper, his attitude, surely not anyone's favorite. But the beast made up for it in brute strength and brains.
Ocassionally his auds would perk forward. In hunting and battle they were allways perked forward. His stone figure did not move but from behind clsoe dcurtains his beady, red orbs shown clearly. they flickered sideways to lay sight on the pathetic whelp that dare assert authority upon his terrain. No one was above him here, weather it be an alpha or not. The alpha was in his territory now, not their own. You dont' own some one else's hosue when you go for a visit, right? Same concept here, mostly. [red]"Think before you speak,"[/red] the demon hissed. his lyrics were icy cold with a dripping venom, but it was all he said. it was all he said to anyone when he first met them. Say the wrong thing and you could set him off, giving you a quick and pianful death wish. say the right things and with the right time you may make a powerful ally. But so far, this whlep was not off to a good start. |

Jetix smirked to herself. Technically I havent said anything yet, she thought to herself. "As you wish," she said with a short head bow. She could tell from the vibes coming off this pokemon meant it didnt want to be messed with.

A small smirk crept across his maw. Submissive, good. But still, unwelcome, [red]So, what drags your sorry self into my domain?[/red] he questioned with a small growl in his rough voice. He also wanted to add 'What gives your sorry ass the right to spread an alpha call through a territory not crowned by you?' But he contained himself. That could be used for later 'small talk.' Eyes narrowed and studied the whelp's body a bt closer. It was small, odd. He didn't know if he should be curious or amussed that a pup Poohyena was the 'lead' of a pack. Well, he was more ammused then curious. It was a bit funny. What if someone like himself came around and wanted to take over her pack? Surely she couldn't defend it. She was still small and in experienced it look like. |

Jetix growled to herself. Sorry self? She was an alpha! She glared to herself but tried not to show any of this to the ninetales. "I am here to see if there are any loners that would like to join my pack. However if you have claimed this land and any loners that walk through it then I will back off and search somewhere else," she said.

[red]"You're an alpha?"[/red] he asked. He raised a brow and made his first distinct move. His dial tunred to get a better look at the pup. His finely placed smirk broke as he gave a small chuckle. His question was answered and his thoughts decided. It was amusing that a little pokemon like this could start a pack and think she can defend it from pokemon like his or stronger, or even weaker. His nose twitched and he glared past the 'alpha'. Orbs feel upon the fuzzy figure of another pokemon hidden away nicely within the bushes. Her pack member perhaps? Pathetic, he spat in his head. His smirk disappeared and was replaced with a bit of disgust. |

This time she couldnt contain her growl. Her eyes narrowed and she barked out a reply, "Yes i am an alpha. My father was the alphaof the famous Shadow pack and I'll have you know he took over this area of land at one point but left for a larger and more attractive territory!" Jetix didnt care if this pokemon was a level 100 she wouldnt let it mock her.

He watched her with intent. She seemed very passionate about her past kin. Well, it her past kin, not her. It was something they accomplished not her. There was a very distinct difference in what two different pokemon did. Just because one does it, doesn't mean the other can. [red]"Impressive,"[/red] he hissed. He wasn't complimenting, he was teasing. His tone was sarcastic with still the same venom and growl as before. [red]"I'd be even more impressed if I ever heard of this so-called 'famous' pack,"[/red] he spat. This time his tone was not sarcastic, but spiteful, laced with venom and growl. He stood up and faced the pup. they were still the same distence away and he wasn't going to change that. But this pup was being foolish. Foolish to be so forward and smart with an elder, stronger pokemon with a short temper. A pack couldn't be run by a foolish leader. |

Crinx was getting the flight sense. It rushed through his body and the black growlithe worked hard not to cringe at the fox's words. He glanced at Jetix. She didn't know what she was getting into, apparently. Maybe her fight or flight sense didn't work too well.

Jetix just stood her ground, glaring at this pokemon. She said nothing. Just stood there, holding her ground. She waited for the ninetales to make the next move. She wasnt going to give it the pleasure of making her trip over her words and embarass herself. She waited, silently

Crinx was more than ready to bolt. This ninetails had an odd air about himself and he didn't want to stay long to find out why and what it was. He felt a growl nudging at his throat and willed himself to stay silent.

So the silence choked the musty night air. Beady red orbs watched the pup fall into silence. So she decided to stop the fun, eh? Well she was becoming smarter. carrying on this ridiculous bicker with an elder was pointless. The only out come would have been embarassment and foolishness. Maybe a little bit of pain in there also. He watched as the pokemon behind the 'alpha' decided to display some sign of life. All he could make out was the slight glisten of fear wtihin his eyes. Interesting. Was he really that intimidating? They conversed, but nothing happened. he wasn't surprised. The pokemons' attention was just turned back to him. [red]"Are you two just going to stand there like fools or do something?[/red] he hissed once again. He gave a small, growl grunt and stood up. His ninetales fanned out briliantly and settled behind him neatly. They looked light as air and were neatly groomed. Despite his careless attitude he did care about some things. He cared about how he looked. He was allways neatly groomed and feathered nicely. His ebon coat allways sparkled with a dark gloss and his fur was never matted or stained. He was quite a sight to see. |

"Give me a good reason why you deserve my attention and I might do something," said Jetix with an air of coolness around her. Crinx may have been intimdated easily but she wouldnt be. She two was also groomed even though she was quite a 'rough and tumble' gal. She sat down, her tail in a small curl behind her. Jetix's words had been said in a very laid-back and casual manner yet still sounded stern. She said it like it was a joke but also like she was telling him off.

This time it was a little more than a chuckle. This was amusing, but also a bit irritating. ooids fixed forward on the young duo. The pup may think she was sounding all cool and mighty but she was just making no sense and making herself seem just all the more foolish and immature. [red]"Let me remind you, you came to me. And I am not requesting your attention,"[/red] he growled with a small bit of irritated air about it, [red]"By doing something I obviously ment leaving or starting 'something' you may not come out of alive,"[/red] he corrected. Her attention was the last thing he was looking for. Young, naive pokemon bothered him. They thought they were all that when certainly there were others that could blow them away with a single huff and a pathetic puff. Sure, he was acting like all that because he had a reason. He was older, more powerful then these two. If he was up against a stronger, older, legendary pokemon he may be acting different. Not intirely that different. He'd be the same, stubburn, snappish Pyro, but with a more careful air about him. |

"Just because you have evolved doesnt mean you are any stronger than me and you are definatly not any higher than me in fact if anyone I am higher than you," she said sternly. This pokemon obviously didnt want to join so her best bet was to leave however if, and it was a very big if, she could get this pokemon on her good side he would be a very valuable member of the pack...

Crinx cringed at Bix's small talk. This was not the time and place for talk like that. They were trying to keep their class up, especially Jetix. He shot a look at Bix but didn't make too much effort. Evolved did mean you were stronger. It was a simple thing.

"Bix meet, er... that ninetales! Sorry we were never properly introduced were we? I'm Jetix," she said and walked closer, paw outstretched in a welcoming gesture. This was a different approach. One that came more naturally to her - being nice. Her dad had taught her to be stern, strong and proud. But that didnt seem to work. So she tried this.

This pup had allready lost her chance at any respect from Pyro. Auds flicked back at her final words. Pyro had only been nice to one person his whole life, Kiara. But now that she was dead, so he thought, there was no reason for his nice to ever expose himself again. He had taken it and locked his away in the shadows of his heart and had disposed of the key long ago. [red]"Oh yea?[/red] he growled, standing up. His tails slowly extended upwards and pointed straight out. They fanned around behind him, unfurling to give him a darker, more demonic air. Beady red had the smalest emotion of amusment laced in them. [red]"Prove it,"[/red] he growled, daring the pup to make a move. A low, threatening growl rummbled through his throat. Fangs snapped at her extended paw. He wanted them gone, and he wanted them gone now. He couldn't belive these losers were wasting their time with a weak alpha like this. Oppisites attract, so these other pokemon may be worth something. |

"Prove what, that my name is Jetix?" she said with a confused smile. She retracted her paw slowly. She would leave when she felt like it. Not because some stuck up 'oh I'm so much better that you' ninetales wanted her to. Her initial reaction to this pokemon had changed. Even if somehow it joined the pack it wouldnt listen to her! Now she wanted to leave in pride not disgrace. The more this ninetales pushed her the longer she would stay. If the ninetales appoligised or did something nice she would leave. She swept her eyes over him. Yep... she'd be here for a long time.

Pyro sighed and lgacned at the pup like hse was stupid. He rolled his eyes and continued, [red]"No, prove you're stronger then me you idiotic twerp,"[/red] he growled. Tiny hairs upon his ashened pelt began to raise. Kissers curled back to let the faint moonlight gentely glisten off his blood stained fangs. Oh how he would love to see this. It would be a nice mini workout and an amusing show. |

"Oh yeah thanks for the vote of confidence Bix!" said Jetix before turning back to the ninetales. "A fight? Ok then." Jetix's mind was screaming for her to pull out of this and dont be an ideot. It screamed that she was scared. But Jetix didnt let any of this show on her face or in her movements. In fact she was acting confident, like she could win this battle with her eyes closed. Of course she knew it wasn't going to be that easy!
