(OMG my first and favourite character disappeared off the face of Erymire! -crys- )
Vixen struggled forwards, her legs weak from walking so much. Just a bit further and they were safe... her mind was buzzing with what had happened. Zeelo, alive - Shadow lord - attacked - Darkfire, protecting her - that orange light - then everythign else was a blur. She could only guess that her 'attack', or whatever it was, had blasted her and Darkfire away far enough to escape. But wasnt that impossible? You cant escape from the Horde...
The pain, the stress, the fatigue and the confusion was too much and vixen collapsed sideways, her pure white fur and silver tipped tails being whipped by the wind as she fell before remaining still....

"Vixen!" Darkfire, from behind Vixen, came up to her, picking her up in his arms.
"Vixen, we'll get you healed up soon, okay?" Darkfire said, ignoring his own possibly fatal wounds. That entire episode..was all blurry in his memory. He just knew he should be dead, and that Vixen would live.
All over Darkfire, were various gashes, wounds, and infected scars from the encounter.
"Vixen, you'll be alright. I'll make sure of it." Darkfire grunted as he walked, carrying the pokemon he knew he loved in his arms.

Vixen eyelids flickered opened slightly and she realised Darkfire was carrying her. She closed her eyes again, knowing she was safe.
(Sorry its sort but I'm not actually allowed on the computer at the moment so I'm getting shouted at)

Darkfire noticed Vixen's eyes open, and smiled gently. He noticed a berry bush, and smiled, seeing various kinds of berries.
"Vixen, there's some berries. You'll be healed in no time." Darkfire sighed gently, heading towards the bush. Once there, he sat down, placing Vixen in the ground as he grabbed some sitrus berries, placing them in front of Vixen's maw.
"Here are some Sitrus berries. Can you eat them?"

Her eyes managed to open again and she ate the berries. After a fem minutes she managed to get back to her feet. "Thanks, sorry," she said, sitting down.
Here energy slowly seeping back she looked up at the darkening sky. The stars twinkeled happily at her and she grinned to herself. "We escaped," she sid quietly, still smiling, her excitment finally building up. "We escaped!!!"

"Yeah, we escaped. Just barely, and I don't even remember how." Darkfire said, shivering. He felt so cold, colder than he ever had before. But he was happy, seeing Vixen's energy and health returning. But ever since evolving, something felt different. He hadn't had the time to worry about it before, but now that they were safe..
"Vixen?" Darkfire tried to get something else out, but his wounds, from the previous battle, hadn't been healed yet, and were infected, but in a different way than disease. He collapsed, suddenly going rigid.

"Darkfire!" she shouted, spinning round so fast she had to wait for her tails to move before she could see him. She bent over him to see if he was ok. "Come on Darkfire!" she said quietly, licking his cheek.

Darkfire could barely hear anything. All he could hear was a high pitched whine, but he felt Vixen's warm tongue on his cheek. He took a deep breath, and opened his eyes, wincing and closing them as he felt light sting them.
"D-Damnit.." Darkfire murmured as he tried to move.

Vixens heart leapt as Darkfire woke up. "You're - you're ok!" she said, breathing a sigh of relief. She turned to the berry bush that Darkfire had got the Sitrus berries from and leapt up at it. With a violent kick, the berries fell to the ground. Quickly scooping them up in her tails, she ran back over to Darkfire and dropped them by his mouth.

Darkfire just watched as Vixen gathered Sitrus Berries for him.
"T-thanks Vixen." Darkfire said, smiling weakly. He took some of the berries in his mouth, and chewed for a second, then swallowing. he instantly felt a huge burst of energy. He say up instantly, rubbing his head. He looked at Vixen, and smiled hugely.
"Again, thanks."

"Likewise. It's nice to finally have some peace." Darkfire chuckled, taking a deep breath. He got to his feet, and hugged Vixen, smiling.
"Eh, Vixen?" Darkfire murmured, blushing.

Vixen blushed too and grinned. "Oh yes, I agree." She suddenly remembered something before Darkfire had collapsed. "Did you want to say something before Darkfire?"

Darkfire cocked his head, thinking for a moment.
"Not that I can recall." He said, wondering. He didn't remember, but did he say something? Musta slipped his mind.

"Nevermind, come on we better get back," she said. She licked his cheek and set off again, feeling refreshed after the sitrus berries.

"Okay!" He smiled a bit, still having his innocent attitude even after his final evolution. He quickly began following vixen, smiling.
"It feels good to finally have free time, nothing to do, feels good."

Vixen pushed her nose through the grass. She came to a gap in the grass and turned to wait for Darkfire, blinking her pale blue eyes at him.

Darkfire ran forward through the grass, going into the gap and smiling. "You dun need to wait. I can catch up." He spoke, smiling. "So...where do we go for now?"

"I'm not weak." Darkfire said, smiling at the nuzzle. "Just a bit tired. And you can't say you're not." Darkfire added. He was grateful for the concern, but it was unneeded.

Darkfire nodded and smiled. "I'm sure, so let's go." He said. Darkfire starting walking again, after a little bit starting to heat up and sweat. He noticed it, but was ignoring it. "Hey Vixen, is it hotter or is that just me?"
