"Mmm. Okay." Kaji rested her head on her paws. She looked around for a while, not too sure about everything that had happened theat day, but eventually drifted off to sleep.

Kaji lifted one eyelid slowly, then blinked rapidly. Was it still night? ...No... It was very early morning. She decided that early morning was a good time to get a head start on Scythehorn's enemies. She stood and stretched. Walking over to check on Scythehorn, she watched the steady rise and fall of his chest for a while, the trotted off. He was still asleep, and therefore quite dull. She found a little puddle a short ways off from the tree, and drank thankfully. She hadn't drunk since yesterday. Her thirst quenched, she decided to get something to eat, and went off to hunt.

She returned about half an hour later, the bodies of two scrawny rattata's in her mouth. The pink glow of the sunrise was just beginning to climb over the horizon when she lay down to eat.
