A large smile flashed onto Aisa's face and her tail flipped around in every which way excitedly. Quickly she bounded back through the grass, expecting Eriko to follow as she made the quick twists through the underbrush she had remembered in the path. Luckily, it was only a few short miutes until she found the tunnel leading into the den, once again covered safely by the grasses.
"In here!" she pointed, looking back, before showing her mother how to get in by sliding down herself. With a giggle, she plopped down into the cool earth and looked around. Still empty...as far as she could see...

((Sorry I was gone, my compy wouldn't let me log on for the longest time!))
The hybrid watched as the little eevee ran off into the bushes. He attempted to get up, wincing as he barely moved his injured leg. He twisted his head around and blew some icy air onto his leg. That eased it a little, and at least he was up. He tried not to tense up, he was afraid it would overcome the numbing sensation of the frigid fur and blood. He limped sniffing the air to find where Aisa went. Iceshadow grinned, a den sounded a whole lot better than the ground or the trees. If it was rocky in these tunnels, he might have to sleep raccoon-style.

Eriko followed Aisa, sending a wary glance at Iceshadow. He should be resting...but he seemed fine now, so she said nothing.
She went into the den, looking around. She had to admit, she was impressed. The eevee did good. It seemed empty. Or, at the very least, Eriko couldn't smell anything. She would further explore before she let the others come in, though.
"Good job, sweetie," she smiled down at her daughter.

Aisa's tail wagged again from the praise as she slipped into another dark tunnel. "I'll keep going! Aisa will find out just what lives in here first!" She scooted through the damp earth excitedly, it was just the right size tunnel for her to get through. On her way she passed a few more empty burrows...rooms! seperate rooms!
She giggled as she began to make her way back, turning around in another of the rooms and rushing through the tunnel, every once in a while dodging a stray root here or there...unaware if there was an occupant in one of those rooms, or not.

Eriko looked around, not quite sure if it was completely empty. "Why don't you go sit with your brother and sister while I look around one more time," she said, smiling at her.
She nodded her head towards the exit, urging the pup to leave just in case something dangerous WAS down there.

"Aw..." Aisa pouted. "Okay...but they're talkin' about somethin' and I doubt they'll let me play, too..." Nevertheless, she climbed out of the den and trudged back to where the others had been waiting. "She's lookin' one more time she says. Then we can move to where it is..." she told them, before nestling down and putting her nose in between her paws.

Eriko watched Aisa leave the den, then turned to look at the place. The fact that there were still some skins left behind worried her a little. Something might still be living there. And the last thing she needs is someone getting bitten and poisoned by some snake.
She took the time to look in every single room, checking for any signs of life.
((I dunno if you planned for somethin' to be in there or not.))

(I'll try to help with that! But I'm gonna be gone 'til September 1st-.-*)
The hybrid had been slowly limping toward the cave before completely collapsing. Pain shot through his leg, almost making him vomit. "If this is life, I'd hate to see hell!" Iceshadow muttered to himself. He could see Aisa coming out of the cave. "What's up, kid? Is everything okay in there?" the hybrid grinned as the pain went back down. He might be able to get enough spring to jump in a tree. Iceshadow remembered his mom, she had a nasty leg wound so she stayed in the trees. He never had to do it until now...

"Mommy's checkin' for snakes and stuffs," Aisa replied, pouting slightly. "I had wanted to help too, but Mama said to come up here instead..." She shuffled her feet over to where he was laying and sniffed his wound. "Are you feeling any better? I can go find more blue berriers like Mama said...?" Without waiting for an answer she sniffed around the surrounding brush, searching for a berry.
Now...some would think that a random search such as that would be hopeless, but the young pack was in need of some luck...
"...Blue!" Aisa squealed, coming across a small bush filled with tiny blue berries. They might just be the kind that they had needed! Finally, Aisa was helping the pack again! With a gleeful giggle she began to pick them off gently with her teeth, humming softly in her work...
...Not noticing the thin shadow that had slithered up behind her...maybe luck was going to take one more turn for the worse...

Kiera yawned, her eyes slowly closing. Everything that happened was making her feel completely exhausted. It was no wonder, either. So much had happened over the past few days that her world was turned completely upside-down.
She was just barely asleep when Aisa started talking, and it took her a moment to understand.
Mama said to come up here instead...
Kiera groaned as sleep faded from her once again, forcing her back into wakefulness "Huh? Wha's goin' on?" she mumbled, looking around. She barely registered Aisa walking away, and lay back down. Try as she might though, sleep would not return to her. Sighing, she got up and walked off to find Aisa.
She didn't have to look far. Aisa was in fact only a short distance away, picking berries.
Kiera began to walk toward her, but suddenly stopped, listening. The noise she heard sounded loud and clear to her ears. What was that? she thought, looking around. She didn't see anything-- but wait! There it was! A snakelike shadow slowly moving toward Aisa.
And she hasn't seen it yet! she suddenly realized.
Without a second thought, she shouted. "Aisa! Look out behind you!"
(OOC: Rawr, maybe this can be Kiera's time to shine? or at least, she can be brave for a change ;3)

Aisa blinked, a tiny berry in her mouth as she turned around...staring into the golden eyes of the ekans who most likely owned the den they had been exploring. The berry fell out of her mouth as she yelped, dodging the initial strike the snake made and sprinting through the grass, attempting a zig-zag pattern to avoid the snake's advances. She began to panic however, when she ran into the large boulder...in her worry she didn't know whether to go around, or try to climb up. She didn't make the decision in time, though...soon she was once again staring into the eyes of the predator.
"K-Kiera! Mama! S-Someone, HELP! Monster! Monster from den!" she yelped, scrambling back towards the rock as it slowly moved closer. She stared up fearfully as its tongue darted in and out...and suddenly couldn't shake the gaze. It had used Hypnosis against her...
"H...Hel...p..." she managed a last soft whine, before getting down onto her stomach, continuing to stare up into the ekans' eyes. So beautiful..shining eyes....a lazy, happy feeling spread through her body, and she soon realized just how tired she was. Her eyes closed half way as she nestled her head down between her paws, yawning, and a small giggle escaped her as the ekans began to wind around her body, to squeeze her life away...

Nero awoke to pain and stiffness where the doduo had ripped his flesh. He could not feel the presence of either of the young pokemon, but he could hear the excited yips. Sleep still covered his mind in slow thick fog and pain made him loathe movement.
But there it was again. A voice of excitement and fright.
Nero whined sharply as he lifted his head. His paws slipped beneath him and he attempted to separate his weight from the cradle of earth that kept his body's warmth. Now what was happening to this place and this pack?

That damn snake got away from her! There was one left in the den, but it had escaped before Eriko could do anything.
She got that sense of doom, and thus followed it. Her pack was near by, and an ekans was the last thing they needed right now. Especially since two were injured, and couldn't take care of themselves.
Her eyes went wide as her blood ran cold. It had Aisa!
((I'm kinda leaving room, in case someone else wanted to be the hero, like Kiera-chan. She hasn't had her chance to shine yet.))

"Aisa!"
Kiera could only watch helplessly as the ekans wrapped itself slowly around Aisa. After all, what could she do?
I... I need to get help! she thought, panicking. However, a low hiss quickly chased that idea away.
"No... no no no..." Kiera muttered, her body starting to shake. If only mother were here... she would save Aisa! The thought stopped her. She had almost forgotten what she had asked Nero. I... I need to help! There's no time to get anyone else...
Steeling herself, Kiera charged at the ekans. At about four paces away, she pounced, sinking her teeth into the body of the ekans, forcing it to let go and turn its attention directly on her.
"Stay... stay away!" she shouted at it, to no avail. The ekans seemed ready to vent its frustration out on her, for interrupting it. I have to keep it away from Aisa! was her only thought. And it was with this thought that she bit the snake again.
And the snake recoiled! It pulled back, in pain, the area around the bite horribly burned! Though she was confused, Kiera jumped on this chance. She nudged Aisa frantically. "Aisa... wake up! We need to run!" she whispered.
But before she could get a response, she felt a searing hot pain just above her tail. She screeched in pain, the ekans's acid burning her. Her legs buckled underneath her, and she dropped to the ground.
(OOC: Hehe, okay, I think that's all Kiera can do ^^ Eriko can jump in now. And yes, that was a fire fang attack x3 An egg move, hehehe.)

Aisa blinked sleepily and yawned, rubbing her eyes with a paw. "Hm...? Wha...?" Only Kiera's yelp of pain completely snapped her out of it, and she shook her head, scrambling to her feet and jumping back. The ekans leered at her, and her blood ran cold. It had almost eaten her...! A-And now Kiera was down..!
She growled, leaning back onto her hindpaws in an intimidating stance, or at least as much of one as she could make. The ekans seemed to snort, twisting its head back and forth as if toying with her. Then, as it lashed out...she jumped, pouncing on its head and spinning. Now that it hadn't caught her off guard, she could at least do something, and with as much force as she could put into it she slammed her teeth down onto the top of its head. It hissed violently and threw its head back, but she kept her grip, her tiny paws skittering across its scales to grab hold. She only hoped she could keep the bite long enough for Kiera to recover and help...

While the pup attacked the head, Eriko blew fire at the tail. That would get its attention, that she was sure of. Most things don't like getting burned. Though, she really wanted to make sure that Aisa was not hurt in the process.
((Sorry it's a short post, since there isn't much for me to do here...also, I only have a couple minutes on the computer!!!))

The ekans whirled around at the rush of pain in it's tail, causing Aisa to be flung to and fro like a ragdoll. However, she held on tight as she could, growling, and scratching fiercely when she could. Small red drops flew through the air from her attacks as she broke apart his scales...
Still, she wasn't sure how long she could keep her grip...she hoped Kiera would be back on her feet soon...

Her breathing came harsh and ragged. It hurts! It hurts! was the only thing her mind could process. She was crying, she knew, but it was only a vague knowledge, masked completely by the burning pain.
She felt something splash on her nose. Surprised, she looked up. What she saw filled her with dread. "Aisa..." she muttered as she tried to pull herself to her feet. Her first attempt ended with her back on the ground. Her second attempt though got her back up, standing shakily, the pain above her tail stabbing itself right through her concentration. She took a step, and almost fell back down. At the last second she righted herself.
With as much as she could muster, she let out a Howl, and she lunged at the ekans, striking it as hard as she could. It let out a loud, angry hiss, and lashed out at her with its tail. Kiera couldn't move fast enough to get away, she knew, so she did the next best thing. She bit down hard on the tail as it struck her, her teeth burning the ekans's scales. And she held the tail with her every last ounce of strength.
(OOC: bleh, not feeling completely well, I hope this makes sense to you guys xD I'm kinda muddled right now!)

Aisa blinked in surprise, but didn't have time to turn around and examine what had happened. The ekans, writhing in pain, was tossing her around even moreso than before. "I-I can't hold on much longer..!" she thought, scrambling to get a better grip as she was rattled around in the air. "I-I gotta...!"
Without a second though, she lifted her head and sank her teeth back down into the ekans' head. It cried out as the red drops began dripping onto her muzzle once more, and with its last attempt to save itself threw her off and into Kiera, causing them to both tumble into a nearby rock. Aisa saw stars for a brief moment before blacking out, panting quietly in her passed-out state. What she didn't realize was that a small amount of the venom had entered her system, enough to make her sick once she woke up, and already a little feverish...
Still, they had done their job...the ekans lay limply in the dirt, taking its last few breaths after the seige of attacks, and thanks to Kiera, they were both for the most part unharmed.

(I'M SO SORRY! I GOT BACK AND MR.MITTEMIJER HAD ME UP TO MAH EARS IN HOMEWORK!!!)
Iceshadow turned to watch them finish off the ekans. He was horrified the whole time, not only because of the attack, but because he was unable to help. He attempted to get off of the ground, pain zapped through his leg. He fell and lay panting. The hybrid spit in frustration and clenched his teeth, attempting to make the pain a bit more bearable. He succeded in getting on all...threes...and limped over to the others. He smelled blood, and lots of it! Then...he saw her. The umbreon/glaceon ran over to the unconscious eevee. His three good legs trobbed, his heart came in sync with a nidoran's. "Aisa..." he whispered, sniffing her, trying to find the cause of her unconciousness.
