Starting Over (OPEN/Aisa and Artimis)

[Ren]

So many things angered the flareon now.

One: The only other ADULT pack member had left on some stupid adventure to do only the pokegods knew what.

Two: The pups were no where to be found. They were SUPPOSED to be behind her. Now, she was giving herself a heartattack looking for them.

Three: She had been lowered from her once great position, meerely from lack of members.

Oh, yes, the pack leader was angry. But she was also worried, and-dare she say it-frightened. Not for herself, of course. For the two puppies that she had somehow come to love. And now, she was some place she had never been before.

Life sucked right now.

So all she could do was wander around, looking for something alive that had seen her children.

"......"....Aisa poked her head up from above the rock, eyeing the flower petal she had begun to chase with an innocent gleam in her eye. She pranced up onto the rock, getting ready to spring...and jumped, barely missing it and rolling down the hill instead as it drifted off with the wind. She looked up once she reached the bottom, shaking her fur free of tangles and looking around...to notice that her mother had disappeared.

"....*whimper*....M-Mama...!!"

[Ren]

Eriko's ears twitched as she recognized the voice. "Aisa?" she asked, looking around frantically. Where?

She walked towards the hill and looked down, and a wave of relief came over her.

"Aisa!"

She leaped down the hill and ran to the pup, making sure everything was okay.

[Kiara Adachi]

A small Skitty had been spending his afternoon playing around and chasing his tail, as most young Skitties did. Something had caught his attention, though. His ears twitched a little as he picked up a small cry, and he turned his head. "Hm..." he mumbled out loud, curiosity taking over. Voices that were very faint could soon be heard, and he bounded that way, trying to meet whoever was out there. And not thinking about what could come out of it...

Aisa's drooping ear perked up at the sound of her mother's voice. "Mama!!" Her tiny paws sprinted towards Eriko, occasionally tripping over a stray rock, or branch, but continuing to run until she felt her mother's warm fur. She sniffled, burying herself into the safe feeling that came around whenever her mother was near. "I-I got lost..." she sniffed. "And I chased a flower...b-but it flew away and I was all alone...!"

[†Grovyle†]

Artemis barked loudly as another figure appeared in the horizon with a limp. "DADDY IS BACK!"
he said running in circles until he realized he needed to explain what happened. "Um....Mommy? I was running in circles and then I saw a bushy thing and hit it. And then big beast got mad because I hit it's tail but then swoosh! And big beast was dead and Daddy came. I sow-sor-sowry." he said, burying his head into her chest.

[Ren]

Eriko smiled at Artimis. Of course he got in trouble. But, he was safe and that was all that mattered. Both of them were safe.

She sniffed the air. Didn't Artimis say that Ven was back? Where was he, then. But a different smell came to her. A skitty, she concluded. She turned to look for the pink pokemon. Normally, they weren't dangerous, but she couldn't take her chances with the pups around.

She stood up straight, keeping both puppies safely under her.
"Who's there?" she called.

[Kiara Adachi]

Seiko saw that he had startled the mother, and slowly crawled out of the bushes to where he could be seen so they wouldn't think he was harmful. "Jus' heard somebody and wanted to see who it was." He told the startled Flareon. He realized that it probably wasn't the best idea to sneak up behind a mother with pups, and he doubted he was high enough level to win if she attacked...

[Ren]

Eriko calmed down a little. She pouted slightly, seeing that it was indeed as skitty and not a dog type, but she was calm.

"I'm sorry if I frightened you," she told the newcomer, smiling nicely. "I didn't mean to make a lot of noise."

[mintchan]

Aisa poked her head out from underneath her mother, staring curiously at the skitty. She had never seen one before. Carefully she crawled out from underneath her mother's warm fur and sniffed at him curiously, tilting her head. It was strange...she didn't know that there were so many other types of Pokemon before. She sniffed a bit more...before remembering what Artemis had said, spinning around and rushing back to her fmaily.

"P-Papa is back??" she asked, eyes wide. "Where's Papa? Mama, w-where's Papa??"

[Ren]

Eriko looked at Artimis. "Did you see your dad?" she asked him. Part of her cared, and another-more dominant-part wanted to give him a peice of her mind.

[Kiara Adachi]

Seiko had been about to react to the young Eevee but she was quickly uninterested in him. Sadly, his ears and tail drooped a little. He had no idea what was going on at all... He looked around for this other Pokemon they were talking about, not seeing anybody.

[mintchan]

Aisa ran around the group frantically, searching for his silhouette. "Papa!" she shouted, turning this way and that. "Papa, Papa, Pa--ooph!" Not watching where she was running, she had tumbled into the Skitty, falling head over paws down the hill and into the bed of grasses below. "...O-ow..." she whimpered, standing up and shaking her fur back out. She looked down at the Skitty and sniffed him cautiously. "...O-Okay...?"

[†Grovyle†]

Ven limped slowly from behind the hill. "Yeah, Daddy save me!WHOOSH!" A horn was in Ven mouth as he jet down the hill, cringing as he stopped in front of Reiko.

[Ren]

Eriko ran to Ven. "Are you okay? Where the heck did you go? You're not hurt too badly, are you?" Whether the flareon was angry or not was a mystery at the time.

Aisa's head shot up from her examination of the skitty as she turned around. Her eyes widened, and small bits of moisture came forth at the sight of her beloved father, whom she had wondered if he would ever come back to their tiny pack...

"Papa!" she yelped, spinning around on her hindpaws and rushing towards him. "Papa, Papa!" She only noticed he was hurt until she was a few feet away, making her slide to a stop, ending with a tumble and landing at his feet to keep from hitting him.

[Ren]

((This is getting annoying. Has Grovyle forgotten about this? *sigh* This always happens.))

(I have forgotten....I've been quite busy. I have to help my mom take care of my sister.)
Ven sprawled out on his stomach as Aisa approached him. "Hey, Aisa! You been a good girl while I was gone?" he asked. He looked at Eriko, instantly confirming she was worried and ticked. "I had some problems....like Tauros' trying to chase down a young pokemon who needs to pay more attention!" he said, glaring at Artemis, who was now wagging his tail rapidly, not realizing what had been said.

[Ren]

((I understand. My little sis has been sick for the past two weeks, so guess who had to be mom? yeah, me.))

Eriko simply sighed. Well, he was back, and not fataly injured or anything. All was well.
"But if you ever leave without telling me where you're going again, I swear I'll..." she faded off with another sigh. "Just be careful," she grumbled, looking away.

[mintchan]

Aisa looked up from her sprawled-out position, tail wagging a mile a minute. "Papa!" she cried, leaping up onto her paws and jumping around him excitedly, finally coming to a rest by nuzzling her head into his side. "W-Where did you go? M-Mama got worried. Real' worried. A-And Aisa and brother did too! We missed you Papa, we gotta find the rest of o-our family a-and we can't do it without you too"

'Great...how am I gonna' slip out this one...' Ven sighed. "You know, Mommy super duper' strong? I need to find shiny rock that's yellow and red to be strong."
(OOC-Sorry for short post.)

[Ren]

Eriko mumbled something incoherent about how a stone could make one strong. Nonsense. True, her abilities had grown when she stumbled across a fire stone, but she was already strong by then because of training and strong will.

She smiled weakly. "Imagine how big you'll be once you find the stone," she joked.

((He will evolve into an arcanine, won't he? Last I checked, they were pretty big.))

[mintchan]

Aisa tilted her head curiously. "Stone?" she asked, her ears pricking up in curiousity. "W-What does a r-rock do t-to make you s-strong and big, Mama...?" She trotted over to her mother's side and sat down in between them. She had never heard of an evolution stone before. The image that she had in her mind was Ven swallowing a small grey rock, then shooting up into a giant. That couldn't have been right...could it...?

Ven gave a weak laugh. "Yeah...actually I'll be bigger than you!"He scratched his ear with the only good hind leg. "Aisa.....no more questions after these. Answer, Mommy." he said jokingly, with a toothy grin. Truely, he had no clue of how the stones worked or what made you react to it.

[Ren]

"Ha, ha," Eriko grumbled. Stupid Ven. Almost everything is bigger than her.

She smiled towards Aisa. "Throughout Erymire, mostly in a certain cave, there are these special rocks that help certain pokemon get bigger and stronger. When you're old enough--should you choose to evolve--you will have multiple different stones to choose from: fire, water, thunder, and more," she explained. The thought another moment. "You see, certain pokemon can only use certain stones. For example, Daddy can't use a water stone. He can only use a fire stone."

She sneezed quietly. "Do you understand?" she asked her daughter.

[mintchan]

"...Ooooh!" Aisa nodded quickly. "I get it Mama! H-Hey, did you get a stone too?" Her eyes sparkled. "I wanna be like Mama when I get to choose, which one did Mama choose?" If she hadn't, most likely she would try the one that Ven had grabbed, but she wanted to be able to be just like her parents.

[Ren]

Eriko smiiled. "I found a fire stone lying around. Of course, I didn't know what it was and, BAM! I'm a flareon!" She laughed. "So you wanna be like mommy? That's my girl!" she pulled Aisa closer and nuzzled her lovingly.

[mintchan]

"Mmm!" Aisa exclaimed, rubbing back against her mother's fur. "Mama's big an' tough an' strong...Papa is too though...and Papa ate the fire too! I can be like both of you!" the idea made her giggle happily and turn a brief, excited circle. "B-Brother, what are you gonna pick, hmm?"

Artemis began to move so fast, he tripped over his legs. The excitement of the question was fueling his energy. "I wanna be Meleeon! They fight good, strong!" Ven gave Eriko a smug look that said 'Big surprise'. "I didn't eat the fire yet. I wanna' eat fire to be big and strong!"

[Ren]

Eriko smiled at Artemis. Yeah, kinda saw that coming. But still, it would be interesting. The pack wasn't ALL fire-types, after all. Besides, she was interested in Meleeon. A fighting eevee-lution...

She came down from her thought cloud. "Are you hungry?" she asked the children. This would be a good time to try hunting.
